Wow.
Today, my main reason for loggin in was to come here for an update on B. I scanned the thread titles looking for the "CoachB's Son" thread, and couldn't find it. Then, out of curiosity, I opened this thread. All I could do was shake my head and feel sad about the whole damned thing.
The saddest part of all this is so simple, a child can figure it out... this place that we all enjoy so much is a community. As such, it has the power to make our lives a bit better by being members. If what's been posted here is true, then B is the big loser in this whole scenario, not those of us who extended ourselves to him.
Each of us is free to be ourselves or anyone else we wish to be... not just on this board, but in real life, as well. Each comes with a price.
For those of us who choose to be ourselves, we take the risk of being duped by disingenuous sorts. For me, the risk is worth it... I'd rather trust- and truly enjoy my interactions, even if it means that I get burned occasionally. As a result, I have many more fond memories in my life than regrets, when it comes to the people I have known.
For B and others like him, the price is very different, and in my view- far more costly. By choosing to hide behind a personna when dealing with The Community, he paid the price of never having made a real connection with any of the decent, fascinating people who make this place what it is.
What a hollow and lonely place to be.
And here's the biggest irony of all: If he'd taken the same chance as the rest of us, he might have found a community which accepted the "real B" (whoever the hell that is...) Instead, he leaves us in disgrace, and a stranger to us all. Truly sad.
Well... the truth is simple: it's B's loss, not ours.
And B... if by any chance you're reading this thread, I'll give you one last thing to think about: If you actually came on here and owned up, there's a good chance that you'd find forgiveness from some... but you've lost the trust of all. That said, you've pretty much lost everything that comes with being a member of a community.

You have had many great posts on here. This one is by far my favorite. This has always been a pretty small community of core posters since I've been here. Like any community we have our different personalities. We all don't get along but I feel we know each other. I know I am a little different (ok, a lot different at times) but I feel part of the group (not to be confused with the "click") as well as B being part of it. I do feel somewhat betrayed. I also feel it's his loss There are those on here who know how bad some of my demons are and have gone to great lengths to help me, even though they really didn't know me. I feel some of these people would do the same for anyone in need. B lost his chance to be part of something I think is special.

I'm glad so many on here were leaps and bounds ahead of me in "questioning" coach. As I posted earlier, he had me hook line and sinker. I was suckered in. Even defended him - and that bugs me like crazy right now.
I don't just feel used.........I almost get ill when I think of some of the pm's I sent him and his "son".

That kind of surprised me when he said that, but I guess I never really looked that much into the guy. I read his posts, but I don't look at one poster on this board and think more high of them than the next guy. So to me he was just another poster.
But it did strike me as funny for him to say that. Kind of out of place for a true professional coach.

Inside info...When Paul Z was around I had some. And I got some real interesting posts that I called DEEP THROAT near the End of the BUTCH DAYS...I did share them with Diam as he was a ref and they sure as heck were interesting - but I always thought it was a real, real creative poster messing with me...

its a function of the board ... one of the refs deleted some responses (a page or so worth's) ... when the posts were in tact the thread was on say page 4 ... after they were deleted ... there was only enough posts left to fit on 3 pages .. therefore it shortened the number of actual posts to 3 pages and there was all ready 4 pages "assigned" the the thread ... when this happens the board appearantly does not have a "reset" function ... so everytime a post sends the thread to the next page .. the "invisible" page will be added on ...... so for the rest of the time this thread is up and running U will always feel like the dog chasing the stick your supposed best friend never threw ...

I admit I believed what he had to say. I even went so far as to defend him.
I did have my suspicions when he was telling everyone that the team had a plan when it came to Quinn but his info was drastically different in PM then what I got from someone else with supposed inside info. Obviously someone was lying.

This is a shock to me also. I believed every word he or she or he-she had to say. Bought into all of it. And the cancer thing, true or not I don't know, but if it is true it sucks, but don't feel as bad as I used to for this person. I don't feel used because I didn't send money or anything like that to this person, I just feel like a fool. Actually no I don't. This person had a pretty good game going and faked most of us out.
