Even critically acclaimed beat writer Chick Ludwig agrees with me on the state of the Browns, although he's a little more generous on the predicted record.

Stenbach may get cut? Why not release Shaun Rogers too? No matter how bad it may get in Cincy, it's always that much worse in Cleveland.

Chick Ludwig used to post on this board. To be honest, the two of you have a lot in common. And there is no chance of Steiny getting cut.

We've made the playoffs more recently than you have. If Palmer doesn't get hurt against Pittsburgh, we'd have won the Super Bowl that year.

BTW your article is written by a Bengals beat writer so i'm sure he's not gonna paint the Browns in a good light, but i just have to laugh at these:

As for the team itself, it has three things going against them.

• An owner that has no idea about what he’s doing.

I'll bet he thinks Mike "cheapskate" Brown is a great owner.LOL I got faith that Randy knows more about running a football team then Mike does.

•An arrogant, egotistical head coach who wiped out the club’s entire public relations staff, then proceeded to conduct a poor draft.

"An arrogant, egotistical head coach" So what so is Bill Belichick, so was Bill Parcells, so was Jimmy Johnson.

So i guess most of the draft experts and sports writers were wrong when the gave the Browns draft a good grade. LOL

• A quarterback controversy featuring two sub-par signal callers in Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn, neither of whom are capable of leading the Browns to the playoffs.

So apparently old Chick is a football talent scout now.LOL How does he know that Brady can't lead the Browns to the playoffs when he's only started 3 games and he was very good in his first game and his 2 bad games came after he injured his throwing hand.

Amazing that you know that to be a fact. It must go back on all the NFL championships Cincy has won in their history that you felt the team was due to win another.

But, the fact is that he did get hurt....that he either mentally or physically has yet to recover from that injury and that what was once a prolific offense with a subpar defense has become a subpar offense with a mediocre defense with no signs of either improving.

Not to mention that even Detroit knows that when a coach continually has losing records, he needs to be replaced.

But hey, you improved to a mediocre defense

Well then you must make alot of money on sports betting if you know the outcome of the game before its ever played. Hell you lost to Pittsburgh in the wild card game so even if you had beat them you still would have to have won 2 more games just make it to the SuperBowl how do you know you would have won them...oops i forgot your psychic.

Chick Ludwig? LMAO!!!! Chickie took such a beat down on the board and made such a fool out of himself it was pathetic. He's also absolutely clueless, and his record in print and on the air prove it. He's a total assclown. Perfect Bungle reporter.

You don't get called the Bungles on national TV for no reason. Just how many years has it been since the Bengals had a winning season?

Pot, meet Kettle.

Dude, you realize that you had something like a 13 season streak without a winning season? A team that I've heard on TV called the "Bungles" by broadcasters during this time? And you've had only 1 winning season since. Your team is notorious across the whole NFL for more players getting arrested than anywhere else, and your owner who is absolutely killing his father's great name.

And you are saying WE'RE the laughing stock of the NFL?

GMAFB.

Why ?? That's a pretty uninformed pick if you ask me. Nearly everyone back and got at least one good OLman in the draft ?

Make me spend MY money, and it's getting laid down on Pittsburgh.

There's no doubt that the Browns are gonna suck this year. - Heck there's no doubt in my mind that the Browns are gonna suck for the next 3-4 years.

But the fact that you think the Bengals are gonna win more than 4 games this year leads me to believe that you just time warped from 1988 and have absoletly no clue what has transpired in the NFL over last 20 years.

Let me fill you in bro. - Sam Wyche has retired, Boomer Esiason has retired, Ickey Woods dissapeared after 1988, Stanford Jennings, David Fulcher, Chris Collinsworth, Tim Krumrie, Anthony Munoz - All these guys are retired dude.

I'm sorry man, but they're gone. - They've been gone for quite some time.

2 decades of ineptitude doesn't make the Bungles the laughingstock of the NFL???

Being publicly humiliated by broadcasters and sportscasters by calling your team the "Bungles" on TV?

Being constantly ridiculed for harvesting criminals?

Having an idiot owner who refused to buy new socks for players? Drafts thugs? Signs thugs? None of these traits sound familiar to you?

Maybe these numbers do:

The Cincinnati Bungles season records:

1991: 3-13
1992: 5-11
1993: 3-13
1994: 3-13
1995: 7-9 (almost!)
1996: 8-8 (closer!)
1997: 7-9 (slipping!)
1998: 3-13 (back to square one...)
1999: 4-12
2000: 4-12
2001: 4-12 (at least they were consistent)
2002: 2-14
2003: 8-8
2004: 8-8
2005: 11-5 THEY DID IT!!!!!

14 years without a winning season. Are you still laughing?

Did you block out all the bad memories? Is that what happened? Too traumatic to think about?

Get the hell out of here.

Yep. There are full grown adults that have witnessed a total of ONE winning season for the bungles in their entire lifetimes.

We have Benson at RB who is more capable than Lewis. Andre Smith will equal or out produce Joe Thomas at LT. Look what Thomas did last year when he actually had to face the top DE's in the NFL. Our offense should be able to put up points and our defense should be good if they can pick up where they left off.

Did the Bengals not shut out the Browns last December? Enjoy taking the field with Robiskie, Steptoe and Hubbard when Braylon refuses to show up to training camp this year.

I'm sure others have already covered it, but I had to stop here. If you're going to talk smack, at least do so intelligently.

For me it isn't about Joe Thomas vs Andre Smith or Browns vs Bengals, but you show a great lack of respect for the game of football by making statements like this. Why would you compare a draft pick to a guy who has played at a very high level for 2 years now?

Would you go onto a Ravens board and say that Rey Maualuga is going to be the next Ray Lewis? I sure hope not.

It makes you look like a fool.

The fact that Muni hates the draft gives me great optimism about our draft. His record on prognosticating is dismal. He believes the NFL is completely fixed anyway, I don't know why he would continue to watch.

LMAO, damn it, I meant to add at the end of my Bungles rant about their 14 years without a winning season post-

The only team they can rip on for having a worse streak than that would be the Pissburgh Pirates

Maybe if you combined the best players of the Reds, Pirates and Indians you MIGHT have a contending team

Sad, but true.

The Indians should be better than they are. Bats are inconsistent, and the bullpen is KILLING them.

Thank God for the Cavs!

Well Browns fans the Bengals have bolstered their defense by signing 5 time Pro Bowler Roy Williams. Pretty sad to think one player has been to more pro bowls than the entire Browns defense combined.

You can't run on our defense and now it looks like you won't be able to pass on our defense either. I'd wish you all good luck for this upcoming season, but I don't want you to get your hopes up and have them crushed as they were in the 2008 season.

Because you signed Roy Williams? The same Roy Williams that Wade Phillips benched on 3rd down plays last year because he was getting beat so badly in coverage? Good luck with that.
