aside from LBJ, the Cavs don't look like they have a lot of quickness.

Not sure about that West and Mo have plenty of quicks just not the size.

Regardless, I've been a defender of Mike Brown but I can't understand why we abandoned the high post play that worked so well in game 5. They had no answer for it last game and we just didn't use it. I'm not surprised by this evenings events just confused.

Unbelieveable... The final horn hadn't sounded and the crossdressing role player that is Marv Albert starts talking about the summer of 2010 and how Lebron might leave because the market is too small... You would think they would give it a few days before that crap comes up again....

ahh don't worry, i'm only going by the last few minutes of this game & I don't know a lot about basketball so I'm just blabbering...
they look plodding when working inside though... not the little guys – of course they're quick, but the big guys inside don't look athletic to me.

I live in New York, they're simply ecstatic we lost. It's been all over the sports call in shows for weeks, what teams have to do to beat the Cavs etc etc. They knew that if Cleveland took the title, the odds of landing LeBron drop greatly. Of course it;s on everyone's mind here. I'm editing audio for a film due out in September and there's a scene where in the back ground some guy is talking about the Knicks landing LeBron. It's just relentless.

Can anybody tell me why Mike Brown had so much faith in Wally?

7 pts 3-14 (21.4%) from the floor in 62 mins for the series.

They're not outside of Andy, you're right. Wallace who I thought did a pretty good job tonight playing at 80% was at one time but he's lost a step even when he's playing at full health.

They might as well give up that thought because I don't doubt he'll leave, he just wont sign with a trashy franchise like that one.

I HONESTLY wou;d not hate LbJ if he left us... The man has poored his heart and soul into the city and he is just not getting ANY help... I want to see him get his rings and if it cannot be here then as sad as it would make me to see him leave, he is a class act and deserves to get to the pinnacle... I just wish to God it is here...

On another note, Kobe Bryant is a FA this summer...

Really?? Dont get me wrong, I love LBJ but when has he poured his heart and soul into this city? When he showed up at the Tribe game and Flaunted the Yankees hat? Or was it the time he showed up on the Cowboys sideline, wearing a Cowboys shirt at Cleveland Browns Stadium?

If Lebron leaves it will be for purely sefish reasons, so lets not pretend that this city hasnt done anything but love him and adore him, while he has done very little to reciprocate that love.

So the guy wears other teams apparals when going to other sporting events so he is selfish??

Sorry that you ignore that he put our city on the map and is the greatest superstar we have had in any sport since Jim Brown...

Selfish??? Could you blame the man for wanting to grab a ring?? IF he leaves to go to some scrub team like the Knicks then I would agree with you but if he leaves, I see him going to a contender because at this point, he has accomplished everything at an early stage in his career except for a Championship

Very little to reciprocate that love???

LBJ has single handedly put the Cavs in the elite in the NBA. He's the best sports figure in Cleveland since Jim Brown.

So he grew up a Cowboys and Yankees fan, big flipping deal. He's said himself that if he would have gone to college he would have gone to tOSU. He's a Buckeye fan.

LBJ has put the Cavs on his back and given the city of Cleveland the only consistent threat since the Tribe in the late 90's.

After sitting through the Lucas and Whittman eras would we have ever thought we could be disgusted with a 66 win season? LOL That's the level of expectation that LeBron has brought to us. Man I hope he stays.

I just heard the post game presser and Mo was dissing the officiating. Sorry bub, but your choking played a more crucial role in losing this series. I hate when a player doesn't accept responsibility.

I also don't want the Scamway ownership clan to win the championship. It sickened me to hear Van Gundy give them kudos after the game. They made their fortune off of a crooked pyramid scheme. I guess I'll have to root for the Lakers.

You must not have followed the Cavs very closely this year, as Mo has been harder on himself than anyone else on the team.. He has thrown himself under the bus numerous times during the year..

he actually took full responsibility for the game 1 loss..

guy is extremely frustrated right now and u gotta understand that some of the things coming out of his mouth are probably a bit unjustified... his dream is shattered..

Why is it automatically assumed that he'll have a better chance to win somewhere else? The Cavs were one of the last 4 teams standing and represented the East in the Finals two years ago. If LeBron leaves, it will be to a bottom feeder and why would he do that? Doesn't make any sense at all.

Hopefully this was a learning experience for Ferry, and he sees what he needs to do. In my mind, everyone is expendable except for LBJ and West. I like West's toughness a lot. All championship teams need a guy like him.

This team needs an above average big, and an above average good sized guard. They are close. LBJ knows they are close. Why go somewhere else and start over? Ferry has shown that he will make moves. It's not like he's stood pat the last couple of years. It's not like LBJ has asked for help and didn't get any.

BTW, one of LBJ's best qualities is his sportmanship and his class ... but not talking to the media ... not facing the music... was not classy at all.

I saw him play some fantastic games this year. I actually thought he was the piece of the puzzle that would put the Cavs over the hump. But the fact is he choked big time in this series (not saying others didn't) when the team really needed him. A few hits on some wide open outside shots would have won more than one of the games.

After Game 2, it looked to me like Williams lost all confidence. His body language, his lack of aggression, his over-eagerness to let LeBron do everything ... led me to believe this. To lose confidence and just completely disappear ... is that mentally weak ?... possibly. I know I'd rather have West than Williams. Then to make the guarantees ... twice ... it was not a shining moment for him. He is probably best served as a 3rd or 4th option on a team, not the 2nd. He was definitely a big factor in why the Cavs lost.

To play devil's advocate a little ... however ... I also believe the size of the Magic bothered him ... but he was not aggressive at all. He seems like a complete confidence player and when that confidence is shot ... it's hard to dig out of that hole.

I think Brown was equally as big as to why the Cavs lost. I thought he did an awful job. Completely outcoached by Van Gundy.

I want to recant a little.....they just played more clips from Mo's presser and it wasn't all sour grapes about the officials. He did accept some responsibility. I hate when they only play a portion of the interview. I'm sure others got the same message I did.

I'm originally from CLE but didn't like basketball until I moved to Orlando as a child. Big Browns fan. Big Magic fan. 4 out of 6 games in this series were very close. It is just a huge disappointment for the organization and the people of Cleveland that the best team in the NBA did not make it to the finals.

Congratulate the Magic though. Many people don't think Van Gundy is a good coach. The Magic are playing better defense since he took over and they are a better shooting team. Howard is a force inside and when double teamed, he can pass it outside for a good shot. The Magic are a very good team, even if they shoot too many three pointers.

Now, us Browns fan will wait and see who sucks more - Quinn or Anderson.

I've got to disagree with you and agree with Barcley, the better team won. We just don't have 3 consistent shooters on this team... which both of the finalists do. We have 1 with 2 or 3 hot and cold guys. We need at least one more clutch star on this team to compete. And perhaps a more athletic big man. Hurts my feelings to think what might have been if the Shaq trade would have happened.

To be honest I didn't even watch the game because I knew there was no use. I flipped the channel to see the score, we were down by I think 15 and it was early in the game and I just flat out didn't care because I'm so used to it at this point. I'll always love my Cleveland teams, but I've lost my faith in any of the teams(Cavs,Browns, or Indians) to bring us home a ring anytime soon.

If we get Bosh, I'm sure we'll have to give up Hikson in return. I think it will be between Bosh, and Amare. I could see us throwing in Hikson, Sasha/Gibson, and a 1st rd pick to get that deal done. Maybe throw in Wallace to make it work financially. I don't think Ferry should wait until the trading deadline, I would prefer he try to get that deal done before the summer ends. I do know the Suns want to slash payroll, and Amare could be had. We definitely need a big that could play with Howard. I don't see Orlando going anywhere in the near future. We will have to deal with them if we want to win a championship.

I admit I'm negative and all, but bro you have to stick with the team alittle more than that in my opinion. I'm not trying to criticize you here, but you may miss out on something good in the future. This isn't the Browns were watching here.

Even leadtheway is optimistic about what adjustments Ferry can bring to the roster, don't lose hope quite yet bro.

I agree.

Did i miss something or did James just rush off the court and not line up to shake hands? I don't think that was a very classy move.

If you can't learn to deal with defeat, you will never be a winner.

I wouldn't have wanted to face Howards mocking smile either, but you do what you have to do, not just run away.

I was listening to Fox Sports radio (850 am) our of Boston late last night (it comes up the eastern seaboard at night when theree's not a lot of interference), and all they talked about was the chances that LeBron James will leave Cleveland.

and also, the radio guys were later upset that LBJ left the stadium without talking to the the media. They were hammering Lebron for this and to be honest, they went on and on about it, kind of embarrassing for them.

About LBJ leaving:

the Boston radio guys were surmising that he was so upset at his teammates, he didn't want to say anything bad about them to the media. The media down in the U.S., especially in the east, is different... very sensational.
No wonder daman hates the media.

Joe Smith off the bench for a shot in the arm? D. Sanders in to rough up Howard a bit? Anything but the status quo to try and spark this team.
Brown looked and coached confusedly!!! Adjustments, adjustments, adjustments.

Wasnt that Mo's first playoff experience? How much did West have previosly?
There's plenty of possible excuses...but the best team in the NBA just goes out and takes care of business...period!!!

I've about seen all I can take of LeBron dribbling at the top of the arch until the clock runs down to 3 seconds and then take an ill advised shot. Yep, he's out of this world as a player, but that gets old to see him doing that and 4 other guys standing around watching.

Oh well...
LBJ will meet with Gilbert and give his list of "guys I want" for this offseason.

Disgusting is a tough word,....I am disgusted though, and it stems from the pure fact that the team with the "best" record isn't necessarily always the best team in the league,....I have said all along that the Cavs are one dude short. Ferry needs to get that boy now,...

Pretty disgusted that LeBron showed the immaturity of his youth.

I think ones thing we really need is a starting quality BACKUP to Lebron!

That would give us options to move our best player around more. Not to mention get some rest...

Did i once call him selfish? I said if he leaves it will be for selfish reasons, and it would be. It would be Lebron looking out for HIS best interests. Thats is what the word selfish means. You could use a different word if it makes you feel better but it is still the same meaning.

The point being, I was responding to someone who had said Lebron has poured his heart and soul into this city, hes a great player, and his presence has meant great things for this franchise and this city, but to say Lebron has poured his heart and soul into this city when he has went out of his way to flaunt his allegiances to teams from other cities is silly.

Yes he is,no argument there at all, he is what he is. Tell me one thing he has done to show any love to the City of Cleveland,he is a great player, great for the city, great for the franchise,no doubt, but what has he went out of his way to show any love for Cleveland? You know what, if Lebron loves Cleveland and its fans he will sign a extension this summer and that will reciprocate our love for him. This franchise has shown to him that they are comitted to doing everything they can to help him make us a champion, ok Bron, how about you show us that you are comitted to bringing a title to this town? Otherwise he is like every other high price free agent we have ever had. He says one thing, but ultimately it is all about himself.
