I agree;....he's a victim of not having been an original Mangini boy,...I predict the entire roster will have turned over by the end of next season, less the keepers (Thomas, Cribbs, et al.)

if you examine the roster there has been about 50% turnover from last year.

I agree that alot of players will not be back next year as well.That list could include:
Jamal Lewis
and one of the QBs

Let's see...he's a WR not Blocker. He is slow as far as WRs go has decent size but doesn't use it well. Haven't seen 260 lbs in any power YAC and thats against 2-3 tier Preseason guys. Is not good AT ALL in special teams. IF HE CANNOT FIND HIS WAY TO THE FIELD OF PLAY HE IS -0- as a weapon. But if the NEW Regime whom all is loving to death right now... is to look stupid and dumb...well Rucker was a great player/weapon just waiting to happen.

Btw - who blocks on Punts...your best upfront punt team guys are TE types.
Who are athletic to move in the open field and make tackles.

JMHO - GREAT move that is going to turn this team around nah, just fixing the bottom of our barrel for guys who will contribute.

I agree with you Eotab ... can't believe all the ruckous over a non-contributer being released.
