Can you post a story about a winning organization where this happens?
Winning doesn't have anything to do with it. This became news because Francies lost his cool in front of the media.

Didn't feel like it or couldn't find anything? I just thought if you were going to put in the research, you would have come back with something that said this is commonplace in today's NFL. You came back with the Edminton Eskimos. While evidence, I thought it could have been stronger.
As to my point of view, you don't know what that it is because I never made such a statement.

I didn't do any research, I just happened to find that while scouring the 'net for something to do this morning.
My point was, this happens on any team in any sport. I've seen hockey teammates duke it out in practice, then cooler heads prevail and they're joking about it later.
What league it takes place in is immaterial it, it's human nature.

The Yankees won the 1977 World Series, but the relationship between Billy Martin and Reggie Jackson was always stormy. The photo is from a dugout altercation in 1978 that eventually cost Martin his job. Speaking of Reggie Jackson, he and Billy North had a well-publicized fight in 1974, described here by Wikipedia: "Perhaps the most notable off-field incident involving Jackson occurred on June 5, 1974, when outfielder Billy North and Jackson engaged in a clubhouse fight at Detroit's Tiger Stadium. Jackson injured his shoulder, and catcher Ray Fosse, attempting to separate the combatants, suffered a crushed disk in his neck, costing him three months on the disabled list."The Oakland A's were World Champs that year.

Is that suppose to prove that it happens or that it's commonplace? I don't think anyone would dispute it happens. But one of those articles is 2 years old and the other is 4 years old.

All you said is to stay in the NFL, so I did.
Then you said, a successful franchise, so I did.
I just typed in "NFL locker room fight" in google, and found those in like 3 minutes.

Do you want the examples or not? Many of them are the same ones Vers has been giving for years. And I heard from a source that the only reason the Giants weren't willing to give us a 1st and 3rd for Braylon was his attitude. They didn't want another Plaxico.

You scout for a website? Aren't you only like 14? If you're being serious, PM me the site, I'd like to read your stuff.

Without actually being there and hearing Braylon's comment and seeing his face when he made it there is no way in hell anyone can tell what he meant by it or what was on his mind when he said it other than for each individual surmising what it was based on their version of what and who BE is and what and who he isn't.
All we know is the words he said. None of us know anything of the sort regarding his state of mind in saying it.
When I read that it sounded like he was making a joke to me. A, "Welcome to the NFL rookie", kind of quip. As I read it, then re-read it, it was a harmless comment of they type I may have made myself.
So far the comments have ranged from, "he was only making a joke", to, "who the hell is he to make a joke about that?", to, "He's making jokes yet doing nothing to express his role as a leader".
WTF!?
This is just more of the kind of stuff I was talking about in my post in last week's Injury Report thread. Who in the hell here knows wtf they're talking about regarding BE's comment? I'll answer that - No One!
Yet listen to the arguments as if each person thinks he individually has a clue of what was going on inside Braylon's head. Only one of the points of view can be right and no one knows which one it is. But still the posts go on as each poster gives his view BASED ON NOTHING but a preconceived notion of who they believe BE is on the inside.

Do you think Braylon's attitude is as bad as TO's, or Steve Smith's? There'd be a lot of team's who'd love to have Braylon's talent, even if came with the price of him being somewhat of a prima donna.

We've heard the G-Men didn't want to part with one of their young receivers along with the draft picks, and that was the deal-breaker. But yeah, I'm sure you've cultivated outstanding NFL sources in your lengthy "scouting career".

No, I won't go as far as that.
And no, I haven't gotten a ton of sources, but I do have a few, and my coworkers and boss have many. I get information from them with surprising accuracy. You can choose to believe me or not, I honestly don't care.

WOW a guy cant make a joke?
Serioulsy do you all just sit back and pray for something to happen so you can bash Braylon Edwards...again...and AGAIN?
It sounds like the whole team was playing around joking around.....but since Braylon said it that makes him a bad guy, and a terrilbe person....
WOW thats all I can think of right there! Some of you people who post on here really need to take another look at things before yall post!
I thought it was funny.
I also find it funny to have guys fighting in the locker room, then see the thread turn into a Braylon bash because he made a comment, yet had nothing to do with it.
It's such a non-issue it's ridiculous we're talking about it.

Does Braylon understand that he is not a top 40 NFL Widout?
Does Braylon understand that he cost us two games last year because he dropped passes that my 12 year old nephew could catch?
Does Braylon know that the only reason why he is still here is because no other team wanted to give up a 4th round pick for him?
Yo Braylon, you're a bust dude.
Larry Fitzgerald was the 3rd player selected in the draft, as was Andre Johnson. - Braylon doesn't even belong in the same paragraph as them. Heck, Lee Evans was the 13th overall player taken in 2004 and he doesn't belong in the same paragraph with him either.
Braylon is part of the problem. - If he were any good, the idiots in charge of this team wouldn't have drafted two wideouts in the second round either.
We should have traded Braylon for max value - A 5th round pick.
I can't wait until he is gone.

I like Lee Evans, but as far as that comparison goes, give me Braylon.
Sorry, can't agree with that one.

I'm with you. Sure, Braylon is far from perfect personality wise (I decided to take the more politically correct approach) but he is still a good player.

Didn't you just do the same thing?
No I didn't. But since you took an interest in using the UBB code so carefully I'll explain.
Perhaps I could have worded it a bit differently though I doubt that would have made much difference to you. The point I was making was adding my take on the same BE comment. My take, that's the one that is just like everybody elses in that I have no freaking idea what BE really meant by it. Just like the rest of you who like to argue your know nothing points as though you had a clue to begin with. The difference is that I know I have no idea what was behind the comment. Some of you, you, feel that you do know, well, given BE's history and all. GMAB

For all you know, maybe people were making comments for the sake of discussion. Maybe no one was really married to their first thoughts when they intially read it. Maybe if you were capable of having a discussion, you might have discovered that.
So making a comment with no thought behind it is what the sake of discussion is? And insofar as no one being married to their original take then why the arguments and assertive statements like they feel they know what BE meant by it? This "discussion" got pretty heated considering absolutely no one knows a damn thing about it. Yeah, that's real good discussion. That's why we're all here. For that.
As far as being capable of having a discussion I do that now. But there is no discussion when no one has anything at all to base their opinions on but theories of what they think is going on inside of someone elses head.
Just like your next comment...

Seriously, just leave. You are too emotional about this board and too riled up. I am worried about your personal welfare, and I think you should take a break. If this chit gets you that worked up, something is off somewhere else. Step away for a bit. The board will still be here when you get well.
I'm riled up about nothing but seeing this board fall prey to something that is one molecule short of gossip, heresay and opinions with no football basis every time something happens with this team. You may like to post like that. It must give you a way to talk about it even it you don't know crap on an issue. Like this one.
I'm here for the same reason I came here initially: to get as much Browns information as I can and do my level best to learn something about football from it.
Somehow I've managed to avoid becoming a knee-jerk poster regarding the team and somehow I've avoided becoming one of the group of old ladies who like to gossip to each other while hanging clothes in the back yard successfully making soap operas over things like this incident.
There's a lot of good posters on here who haven't fallen into that category. But there's also a lot of posters on here who have. Some actually started out that way.
Tell me again what is going on inside the mind of Braylon Edwards. Surely you must know. And then let's argue about it just for the sake of good discussion.
If I were to leave you'll be the one who misses me.
