Yeah, let me know how it is. They were demonstrating the tennis game on Good Morning America this morning.

We played for a couple hours last night. So far, I really like it. Played Wii Sports (comes with the system) and Trauma Center: Second Opinion. Trauma Center really shows off the capabilites of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck. Wii Sports was pretty fun....I hope nobody was peeking in the window, though.
Neither game I have was meant to have great graphics, so I can't comment on that. Also, since I just use a regular television, I'm not expecting great things. It's good enough for me and I'm sure future games (Metroid Prime 3) will push it to it's full capabilities.

I saw that Trauma game at Gamestop. That'd be something I'd get into. What do u do with the controller on that game?

You use the remote in one hand to make incisions, extractions, injections, suture, bandage, etc., and you select your instrument with the nunchuck in the other hand.

That sounds pretty awesome. If I had a Wii, I'm sure that game would be in my possession. I was looking at the box the other day wondering what it was like.

I don't think you can go wrong with any Zelda game... hell, I'm considering buying the Wii just for it. That and being able to download and play 20 years worth of Nintendo & Sega games.

Do you have a soul? I've been very interested in that Trauma Center game, but I can't justify getting it for $50, seems more like a $30 game to me. I'll get it eventually. So far, Wii Sports and Zelda have taken over my life (With Madden on the way come December 25). I just entered the Arbitrar's Grounds temple in Zelda, gotta dedicate about 2 hours to that tonight. I love Zelda, but the game's a tad too long and too big for my tastes. If I wasn't on winter break, there's no way I'd finish the game until summer. Still, it's the best game I've ever played. And those of you wanting a grown up Zelda, this is it. The twilight realm is downright creepy.

No Zelda for me. I need things for shorter attention spans. Actually, I've just never tried that series. Who knows, maybe I'll rent it one of these days to see if I like it.
I just got hooked up to the internet so I can start downloading vintage games. Right now there's not much that I want, but as they add games, I'm sure I'll spend a small fortune on them. (Santa may bring points cards, too!)
We'll get Madden eventually and I'm reading about a game called Elebits. It looks, umm, different.

They're gonna be tough to find through Christmas, I'm afraid. Good luck, PPE...keep searching, you'll find one just like I did. Also have people on the lookout. I told everyone to buy it and I would pay them back the same day. SIL just wasn't sure I hadn't found one. Lesson learned...tell everyone you'll call them when you find one.

Several WalMart employees on the Nintendo message boards have said that a new sales flyer is coming out 12/6 and they plan to have them then (they have them NOW, just aren't putting them on the floor). Wed, 12/6 at 12:01am for 24 hour stores and regular opening time for the others.
GOOD LUCK!

The more I play, the more I love it. I truly don't think this control thing is just a gimmick.
I can't wait for a Tiger Woods game on Wii, I already love Wii Sports Golf, but the 9 holes gets tedious.
For anyone who's ever played previous 3D Zeldas: The remote makes the game so much easier as far as aiming and shooting arrows and projectiles goes. Some of the targets I know would have taken several seconds for me to aim in past games now are almost instant with the pointing system. Anyone remember the arrow game in Gerudo Fortress in Ocarina of Time? It'd be easy as cake to ace that with the remote aiming system. It's still a challenge, but it's a more realistic challenge.
I honestly feel sorry for anyone who's gonna stick with the GameCube version of Twilight Princess, they don't know what they're missing with the control scheme.

That BestBuy link got me all worked up for nothing I hit the one store it said had em by me and got there right when they opened this morning, to no avail.
I'm choosing to take this as some higher power telling me to save my money for the time being

how hard is trauma center? could my 8 year old play it? Hard to say....some kids are really good with stuff like this and some aren't. You have to have decent hand eye coordination and be able to remember a sequence of events. With how far I've gotten in the game, I'm sure an 8 year old could do it...not sure about the more in depth operations.
