If he only had a clue.

Jesus, arch, ya gotta narrow it down more than that. You just described half the guys on here.......

It's good to hear the reminder that this is a rebuilding effort from Mangini. It's going to take time. But really, he just avoided saying the wrong thing.

The best thing to read is that Lerner was at the practice. At least he is not completely absent.

Just think how much nicer it would be if he had hire the other HC he interviewed and the GM, We might be 4-0 like the team that hired him even though he got rid of their Pro-Bowl qb. We might even have all of our first 4 picks starting instead of riding the pine or not even dressing for the games.

We'll find out about Randy's committment to the Browns and Cleveland next year, with no salary cap. He can pony up like Jones and throw about a half billion or so into the team, we already built him a stadium.

Case in Point:

Cribbs hands the Offense the ball on the Bengals 14 yard line in the 4th Quarter...... and all we can manage is a Field Goal.
If we get the TD there, that's the ballgame. They'd have been down 10 with 6:49-ish left to play... their TD that follows is thus moot and we get to burn the clock at the end.

That's bad but at least we got points.. In the second quarter Cribbs runs a kickoff back to the 34.. almost in FG range.. we fumble and it's returned for a TD the other way.. very easily at least a 10 point swing...

DCdawg, don't forget the Bengals fumble on the kickoff, which we recovered on the 9yd line or the 39 yd punt return that led to a TD by Royal. We should have wn this game going away, the Bengals were still on cloud nine from the win over the Steelers.

When we play them at home Nov. 29 we might see a totally different team, one that's not going to hand us all those breaks.

You are preaching to the choir. I've been saying that for 2 days that our defense and special teams put this one on a platter and the offense couldn't take it... In regulation, we had the ball inside the Bengals 40 eight times.. inside their 20 five times... and scored 20 points. They crossed midfield three times the whole game and scored 20 points...

Tampax and baby shampoo wouldn't be bad either.
