I say no.
For many years, the Browns wore their white jerseys at home, and these were the most successful in team history, and statistically at least, seasons where they've worn brown jerseys at home have been less - even much less successful than seasons when they haven't.
I'm not positive of this, but based on film and pictures I've seen, it seems that the Browns usually wore their white jerseys at home from their inception through 1974, and during this time, they had only two losing seasons (1957 and 1974).
In 1975, however, the same year the orange pants were introduced, they began wearing brown jerseys at home and ended up with their then worst season in team history, finishing 3-11.
The following year, though, they went back to white at home and finished 9-5.
The following stats I think illustrate my point that white at home brings more good luck than it doesn't. Of course, these stats don't substitute for having players who can play, but it's a fun thing to think about.
1975 - brown at home, 3-11 record. 1976 - white at home, 9-5 record. 1977 - white at home, 6-8 record. 1978-83 white at home for first four home games, then brown for last four Combined record - 46-43, 0-2 in playoffs 1984 - brown at home, 5-11 1985-88 white at home, 40-23, 2-4 in playoffs (two AFC championship game appearances) 1989-94 brown at home, 43-46-1, 0-1 in playoffs 1995 white at home, 5-11 1999-2000 brown at home 5-27 2001 white at home 7-9 2002-2008 40-70.
So as you can see, the worst of the Browns teams have worn brown at home much more often than those that didn't.
Plus, going back to white at home would be a nice homage to the great teams that did this.

Where's the "who cares" option? The color of the jersey has nothing to do with winning or losing. NOTHING.

You're not gonna like the response...
(that said, I liked the orange jerseys and wish we revised the brown and white jerseys to be similar to the orange one)

Well, over the years, I've liked the orange jerseys. You and I are probably the only "crazy" people.
I like the orange jerseys. I also loved the orange pants and brown jerseys, or even white jerseys.
Course, I like the brown pants as well. That separates me from most on here.

Voted no; jersey colors don't win or lose games, although those hideous chunky chocolate pants are putrid. Tell 'em to win a gameand they can pick the next week's gear. The whole orange thing crashed and burned IMO as well. White at home.

We must not be "real Browns fans" because the orange jerseys somehow "violate tradition."

Your title is Brown jerseys at home yes or no. Your first sentance is "I say no" then your question is "Should they wear white jerseys for every home game."

Nope. White on white. And burn or bury the brown pants and the orange outfit idea folks should be removed. If you have one of the best traditions, and if it matters to the fan base and ticketed publick, then trot out all the tradition. I liked one guys idea about the Brownie on the 50 for all televised games. It is OURS. I buy gear with that whenever I can. I intentionally did NOT buy some of the alternative logo stuff. WonW fer me.

In the technical sense, that color doesn't matter to "winning" is true. So it wouldn't make a difference to me as long as it was within reason.
Reason, as such, is a matter of interpretation. While I would admit most of mine would be based in tradition, a little Amendment to The Constitution here and there is not a bad thing.
I never once remember flinching when the "Sipe version" was sprung out,...the orange pants. That actually looked pretty good with the brown jersey.
When did the brown jersey first appear ? Jimmy Brown is wearing it on his rookie card,...
The bottom line is, the NFL breaks out new stuff to make money. It has nothing to do whether or not we "like" it. And agreed, if the team wins, it does not matter.
However, I'm not going to buy any orange jersey because it's "not tradition." I'm not purchasing that,....because it's ugly. And it is ugly at Clemson when they wear it with orange pants, and it is ugly at Syracuse.
Now, I think Illinois looks pretty good with orange pants, and I think the Browns would too,...white or brown jersey.
White on white is perfectly fine with me. Now just go draft somebody who can perform in it.
