K-State beats Texas. The ONLY unbeaten team left in the country is....... The soon-to-be #1 (Assuming we don't blow it and lose to Arkansas lol) Kentucky Wildcats!!!!

Tough night for the top of the ACC as Duke and UNC lose... first time they've lost conference games on the same night since 2003.. I think the ACC is very deep this year but I don't think they are going to have a top 5 team as UNC is rebuilding and it seems progress is a little slower than expected and Duke is just too slow..... I do think the ACC has 6 or 7 teams that could make a deep run into the tournament but it wouldn't surprise me if none of them make the final four.

Wake is pretty good. Ish Smith is a pretty good guard.. but this is a Wake team that Maryland took to overtime, on the road, and but for a bounce or two one way or the other could have won... which is why I said, I think the ACC is loaded with teams that could fall in that 12-25 section of the top 25... and has half a dozen that I could see in the sweet sixteen...

My goodness, Diebler is such a liability to this team. At least Lighty can defend! I can't wait until sullinger and thomas get here. Diebler's ass better be on the bench! Also West Virginia has trashy fans

Sorry Petey, got word after the Flyin' to the Hoop tournament (Where Knight put up 39 points with Cal in attendance), that Knight is UK bound. He'll still take all of his visits, but it looks to be all but done that Knight ends up at UK.

Then we'll get the other guy. Who's that guy that you thought you guys were going to get because Knight was supposed to go to Conn?
Besides Kemba is gonna be back next year anyway............

Josh Selby.
And honestly, I don't know where he'll end up. There's talk of him and Daron Lamb wanting to play together.
It's not unlikely that UK gets both Knight, and Lamb, kind of how we got Wall and Bledsoe this year. Since there's a chance Bledsoe will be leaving after this year (I read where an NBA exec. said he'd be a lottery pick if he comes out).
If Selby wants to play with Lamb, that will hurt us though, because while we're in good shape with Lamb, Lamb won't come here if Selby and Knight do, because then Lamb would be coming off the bench.
Knight will end up at UK, I know that much.
If I had to guess for Selby and Lamb, I'd say Lamb still comes to UK, and Selby ends up at Indiana.

Yep. I expected us to lose soon, honestly. But, I wasn't expecting it to be tonight. I've been saying for 3 weeks I wish we'd lose a game. It'll be good for us. A nice little wake up call. Now we re-gain focus for the next two months.

OSU is taking Minnesota to the woodshed right now. This has to be the great offensive performance I've ever seen from OSU. It's insane right now. We're shooting like 75% right now. Also Evan Turner is not human. NO TEAM could beat us when we shoot like that.

I'm not sure where I should post this. I've heard rumours that Pittsburgh is going to be the team that joins the big 10. The date of the announcement is allegedly February 4. Has anyone else heard the same thing?

Well so much for that rumour Bold statments made by the college game day crew. They're saying Evan Turner could have a Daniel Manning or Carmelo Anthony type impact in the tourney

My goodness Evan Tuner is unbelievable. He almost got another tripple double! Folks we may be witnessing the greatest player in OSU basketball history. Hopefully we win out and get at least the #2 seed. It will be rough with games against Purdue and Michigan State coming up. Buford is really starting to become a legit #2 scorer for this team. I've been David Lighty's hardest critic but he's starting to play some really solid D again. If Diebler gets hot in the tourney we can easily make a run to the final 4

Terps have been playing well but the meat of their schedule is yet to be played.. still have Duke twice, Georgia Tech, Clemson, and UVA twice (seems wierd thinking of UVA as a tough game)... Loved watching the Terps dismantle UNC in the second half on Sunday... and hearing the Terps fans chanting NIT.. NIT.. to the Tarheels. But seriously, if the Tarheels don't get some things figured out, they won't even make the NIT...

No way Roy accepts an invite to the CBI...although that brings up an interesting question. Would UNC hang a CBI Championship banner up there next to their Helms title banner???

2/10 UVA (has been postponed to the 15th due to weather) 2/13 @ Duke 2/15 UVA (rescheduled) 2/17 NCSU 2/20 Ga Tech 2/24 Clemson 2/27 @ Va Tech 3/3 Duke 3/6 @ UVA Yea, the Ga Tech game and the Clemson game are at home.. the home/away sort of favors MD but this is definitely the toughest part of their schedule.. Especially with the reschedule, they now have to play 4 games in 8 days.... The easy part with BC, Miami, UNC is over.. They need to go AT LEAST 5-3 (hoping for 6-2) through this last 8 game stretch, and that's doable.

Always great to beat UNC regardless of how sucky they are and how bad we play. Sets up a big game sunday in Cameron vs the T(w)erps ... Should go along way towards ACC #1 seed and conference POTY. Heres hoping for a Duke win. BTW Top dawg how does someone not notice the flub on Wall's jersey (below)? Kentucky or Kentcuky??

UConn plays Cincinatti today. I'm definitely excited, although it's only on local, not one espn or anything.
We lost a close one to them originally, i expect a uconn win in this one. we just eventually have to get one. Conn got hosed against Syracuse because of rediculous REFing.
So mark my words, Conn beats the Bearcats gametime Noon

Tough win against Tennessee tonight.
I gotta give Bruce Pearl credit though. He coached a great game tonight... Luckily our talent won out.
