Kolb is not a free agent, a trade would need to be made. here is a link to free agents for next year http://www.footballsfuture.com/freeagents.html
I know that, and we do have 11 draft picks. I'm sure the Eagles would take a 3rd or 4th for him if they decide to keep McNabb and Vick.

Kolb was drafted in the second round and has done virtually nothing in the NFL. No way the Eagles command a 1st round+ for him.
do you remember the Matt Schaub trade?

The trade that sent Matt Schaub from the Atlanta Falcons to the Houston Texans not only made the three-year veteran quarterback an instant starter, it made him a very rich man.
Schaub signed a six-year, $48 million contract with the Texans
Schaub has not won a regular-season start and barely completed 50 percent of his pass attempts in three seasons with the Falcons.
As for the Falcons, the trade allows the cap-strapped team to essentially recoup the $2.3 million qualifying offer it made to Schaub and invest that money elsewhere. And the haul the team received in the trade -- a swap of first-round choices in 2007 and second-round picks in the 2007 and 2008 drafts -- provides Atlanta with considerable flexibility.
So, Atlanta got an upgrade from #12 to #8 in the first round, and 2 2nd round picks for a player who basically had one good showing during his time in Atlanta (against NE in a loss).
---------------------------
Here's Kolbs numbers from this year:
QBRat Comp Att Pct Yds Y/G Y/A TD Int 88.9 62 96 64.6 741 185.3 7.7 4 3
And here are his numbers in his 2 starts:
vs. NO 73.2 31 51 60.8 391 391.0 7.7 2 3 vs. KC 120.6 24 34 70.6 327 327.0 9.6 2 0 (plus 1 rushing TD)
--------------------------------------
Based on potential, injury history, and age...I actually wouldn't be surprised for Philly to trade McNabb and go with Kolb as its QB much like GB did with Rodgers (and I like McNabb).
Based on that same injury history and age....I doubt Philly lets Kolb go in a trade unless they are overwhelmed by an offer. Which could very well be a 1st round pick or something similar to the Schaub trade.

Picking off this list is like picking your next EX-Wife,
Might as well pick the hottest one and have fun for awhile.
The hottest ones that will be available are Michael Vick and Jason Campbell.
