Is football's version of LeBron James in this years draft? Because Mangini seems to playing for the #1 pick.
This guy needs to go, the sooner the better.

I've been iffy on the idea of firing Mangini, but I'm now 95 per cent convinced he should go.

People say what is the point in firing Mangini, I can point to these moves and say emphatically that he should be fired after this game. Playing also-rans instead of playing rookies who no one has any idea how good they really are is really dumb.
you had a good run Hank.

Forgetting just a moment about the future ... who gives us a better chance to win today: Harrison, Robiskie, and Francies or Jennings, Stuckey, and MacDonald?

I'm not enamored with any of them to be honest, but he picked Robo at the top of the second round.. you gotta find out what you have.. and against detroit,, that seems like a good place and time.

Are we going in with only 2 RB's today. didn't we learn from last week with only 2 TE's and then one got hurt?
along the same line I'm concerned about Robiskie inactive. What Happens if Cribbs can't hanlde a whole game?
Who did we activate in these guys place?

...and could that possibly be the reason that Harrison has been used by two completely different coaching regimes in exactly the same (sparing) capacity?
Realize who you are talking about. Romeo and Mangini are dolts

I like what I've seen of Jennings, but Chansi Stuckey and Brandon MacDonald just flat out blow. If the rookies on a 1-8 team can't get reps vs another 1-8 team, who the hell can they get reps against?

Exactly...Detroit, a great remedy for young players who are struggling to play against like skilled players. Wonder if Mangini thought about it or did Robo, Harrison and Veikune have a bad week on special teams? Unreal

Somebody who's actually good?? I could care less if he's an ass............I want to win football games not a personality contest.
Ray Lewis is an ass...........I want him
LT was a dope head and an ass............I want him
Deon Sanders was an ass............I want him
Most of the superstars in the NFL (especially on the D side of the ball) are asses, but we aren't recruiting for the boy scouts. We need talent far more than we do "high character" guys right now. Give me the ass Rey Rey who's tearing up the NFL right now, and I'll give you Robo who is deactivated (and a non factor when he isn't).................bet I win more games than you do.
Against logic, the most effective armor is willful ignorance.

Malauga does not bother me. In some schemes, he wont work.
Everette Brown is the one that confuses me.

I lobbied for Rey Maualuga, but got blasted for saying he was a Drunk and wouldn't amount to anything in the NFL.
There was a lot of praise for the Robiskie Pick, saying he was the most polished and was the most NFL Ready WR in the Draft. Just another case of over hyping from Ohio State.

Harrison is on what.. his 2nd head coach and his 3rd offensive coordinator and he still can't get on the field much.. this would lead me to believe that there is something more to him than meets the eye.
As for Lewis/Jennings.. Jamal should understand that when you announce your retirement on an awful team like this that any coach is going to use that as a reason to get a young guy more PT... I'm surprised Jamal got as many carries as he did. I thought Jennings (aside from the dropped TD pass) looked pretty good. In fact I saw Lewis on several carries where a side step or a cut back could have gone for more yardage.. and I think Jennings is more likely to do that, Lewis seemed content to hit the pile and push...
