The Bengals and police have not released any other information at this time.
Henry has been on injured reserve since breaking his arm in the November 9 game against the Baltimore Ravens.

ESPN's ticker said he jumped into the back of his girlfriends moving truck after a fight.
I wonder if she was looking at him and wrecked, or if he fell out of the truck and she ran his ass over.
Setting aside personal tragedy, this guy is too much of a loose cannon to ever be able to stay out of his own way.
The Bengals better hope beyond hope they can win the Super Bowl during this year's run because with the guys they draft and sign, this kind of window will only open once in a blue-moon..............

Whew, that was tough fix. 
On a side note, ther are some, unconfirmed reports that Henry may be dead, but I think thats premature to report, just some bengal fans I know talking of what they have heard.
Hope he is OK, and although most likely really messed up, that it isn't like threatening, and he comes out alive even if he can't play again, more importantly alive.
Statistics are like a bikini; what they show is interesting, but what they hide is vital.

Joe Reedy of the Cincinnati Enquirer has confirmed with the Bengals and Charlotte police that wide receiver Chris Henry is still alive following a serious car accident Wednesday.
Still, the news surrounding Henry is not good.
Alex Marvez of Fox reports that Henry is on life support and the situation is being described as "dire."
A fake Twitter account led to multiple outlets from newspapers to major sports and news blogs to repeat information that Henry passed away.
The fake account purported to be by a NFL reporter, but it clearly is a fake.
We previously passed along reports that Henry's injuries were "life-threatening" and came after a "domestic situation."

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry is on life support after falling out of the back of a pickup truck in North Carolina, a source has told FOXSports.com's Alex Marvez. The source described the situation as "dire."
Henry was found on a road in Charlotte "apparently suffering life-threatening injuries," Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said in a statement. Henry was transported to Carolinas Medical Center.
Police said Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup as his fiancee, who was not identified, was driving away. The domestic dispute continued, police said, and Henry eventually fell out of the truck.
Bengals spokesman Jack Brennan said he had little information other than Henry was badly hurt.
"We are aware he was in an accident and that his injuries are very serious," Brennan told The Associated Press. "We are obviously staying in touch with the situation and are ready to offer whatever assistance we can."
Henry was sidelined for the season after suffering a broken left forearm in the Nov. 8 game against Baltimore.
Henry is in the final year of his contract with the Bengals, who let him go after his fifth arrest following the 2007 season. Owner Mike Brown then brought him back a few months later, signing him to a two-year deal, and Henry had stayed out of trouble since his return.
A deep threat, he was fourth among Bengals receivers this season with 12 catches for 236 yards and two touchdowns at the time of his injury.

Man, I'll always remember seeing that bone sticking out of his arm during the Browns/Bengals game in Cinci.

Scott Ferrell on Sirius was just talking about and said the Chris Henry is currently on life support. Doesn't sound good at all. Hopefully he is able to pull through and recover.

Years ago - 23 to be exact - a friend of mine, a 2nd cousin, fell out of the back of a pickup. Truck was going about 15 mph. He died. Brain swelling.
More than likely that's what Henry has......at least that's my guess.

From what little we know, and I STRESS, what little we know - how can she be held liable? She was leaving the situation when he jumped in the bed of the truck.
Put it this way: Let's say your wife was in danger. She jumps in her/your truck to leave the situation. The "danger" jumps in the bed of the truck. You want your wife held liable for not stopping and escorting the "danger" out of the bed of the truck?
That's ba£ed on what we tentatively know.
But, I will say this: unless she forcibly put him in the bed of the truck, I don't see how she can be liable. The police have already said it was a domestic dispute. Leaving a domestic dispute is a good thing.

Police said Henry and his fiancée, Loleini Tonga, who lives in the area, had been arguing in the 800 block of Peachtree Road when Tonga tried to drive away in a pickup.
Henry jumped into the bed of the pickup and the couple continued arguing as Tonga drove, police said.
Police said Henry fell out of the pickup at some point and landed in the roadway, causing life-threatening injuries. He was taken to the Carolinas Medical Center. His condition was not released.
I've never been in law enforcement, so maybe I don't understand why you'd call in the homicide cops if the guy isn't dead or his death imminent. Attempted homicide?

I'm pretty sure they believe his death is imminent and perhaps at first they believed she tried to run him over or something else homicidal. Having two threads on this is confusing.

I'm old enough to remember a time when a football fan could go YEARS without hearing something like this.
Now, it seems to happen at least once every season or two. What (tf) is wrong with us as a species?
This kind of stuff makes me sad beyond words.
I truly hope that this young man can recover from this, and salvage a meaningful existence for himself.

I believe that if there's any chance the person will die...then you bring in the homicide cops from the beginning.
You don't want two different sets of officers trying to do the same investigation, and messing up the evidence.
Also, you don't want the evidence to slip away while you see whether the person makes it or not.

Arch a domestic dispute doesn't automatically mean it was a violent dispute. If he was chasing her and jumping in the truck to talk to her or maybe even to prevent HER from doing something stupid and she started swerving or doing things to try to make him fall out and that's what happened, then yes, she should be held liable.
