First of all, nice job to Petey.. Good job on that, although I'm pretty sure it will fall on deaf ears as they relate to Mac anyway..

You tried to back up your statement that Rogers wasn't happy by posting OLD articles. Don't you see the problem Mac?
Petey...no, I don't see what the problem is.
So you went back and copied and pasted some of my posts "in part"..."some out of context"...others that are "my opinion".
Based on what I have read, IMO, Shaun Rogers was not happy playing in Cleveland last season.
I thought this article web page , which I posted very early in this thread..page 2..laid out some very good points concerning the Rogers situation.
Petey...I'm gonna stick with my opinions about Rogers and just say you and I could read the same material and arrive at differing opinions...and we do...
I'm not a Rogers fan and have not fallen in love with anyone, coach or player, on this team, with exception of 3 offensive linemen. Everyone else could be traded and I would not care as long as the Browns got fair value in return.

I understand that. I just didn't want to put that much more time/make the post much larger.
But it's not that big of a deal. We dissagree, that's all. Time to put the issue to rest........

Mac - you're basing your opinion on an article that's nearly a year old? An article that is nothing but the writers perception of things? After all, there are no quotes there from Rogers, right?
Seriously dude - look at the rest of the article - not just what suits your opinion........yeah, the article from almost a year ago. The article that has no quotes from the players involved - just a writers opinion. Re read it. Then read it again. Then remember it was from almost a year ago.
Read what is said about other players...............................and you base your "rogers isn't happy here" thoughts on that?

I thought that was the point of this thread. Trying to teach Mac that old articles don't explain what the situation is now. Just because he might be able to find an article that says that Josh Cribbs has played his last down as a Brown because 1.4 is insulting doesn't mean that is true now.
Back on topic.... I don't want to trade Rogers. People point out that the run defense was better without him, but some of that was due to the teams we were playing, the weather conditions, the addition of Roth, etc. The man is a beast and we need him.

It must be boring when people are still arguing with Mac about a situation that nothing new has been reported that said anything..wow..
