Same here. I'm not big on salt. About the only things I eat salt on are soft pretzels, corn on the cob, and cucumbers.

If I am at Raisin' Cane's---then I dip EVERYTHING in their sauce!!!!

FF usually go in Ketchup unless I am feeling like some vinegar. and I do like vinegar. Most don't know this----but good quality heroin always has a really strong vinegar smell. Doesn't matter if you get the powder or the tar.

Love me some french fries with salt and malt.

I agree, there sauce is so good it's unbelievable. When I got cane's for the very first time I found out how good it was and started dipping my fries, chicken, and toast in there. I kept the sauce for later since it was that good.

You gotta love canes

I grow my own Yukon Gold potatoes. Salt AND ketchup; wife likes hers with ranch dressing sometimes. Incidentally, went to Canada and had some poutain or somesuch thing, fries with MANY different options, all un-American, none of them as good IMO as my salty red-decked steak-type fries. Saw stuff adsxded like ketchup, gravy, mustard, and more. I do not eat a lot of fries, but despite this popular dish that was pimped by a travel book or two we had, no thanks. It was the food equivalent of "We gotta get this guy!", except "You MUST try this favorite Canadian food!" Yucky it was and tossed my gravy plus fries.

Gravy on fries is as common as ketchup in northern Ontario.

Poutine is great but fatty as all get out. For those that don't know Poutine is fries covered in gravy and Cheese Curds. Very good and it is how I prefer to eat fries. If your ever in the great north you gotta try it. I'll admit though the first time I tried them (when I first moved here to Canada) I wasn't so sure what to think because it was so differant than how we eat fries in the states but now there are times that I crave a good poutine.

My daughter dips them in the caramel sauce McDonalds serves with their apple dippers. She also dips them in Sprite or when at Wendys...the Frosty!

Me, I drown them in salt.
