While your right, you also have to consider. Do you honestly know how you'd be if you had that kind of money at such an early age?
Don't get me wrong, there's things some of these guys are doing that are just ridiculous.
But, some of the smaller things, like when a player gets caught with some weed, I find it hard to crucify the guys. Honestly, if I had that much money, I'd have to find some way to spend it, and I'd probably be tokin' up, too.
The money is only part of the problem.. the bigger part of the problem for a lot of these guys is that nobody has told them NO about anything in a long long time. Since early in high school if they were highly recruited at that time.. teachers wouldn't tell them no, coaches wouldn't tell them no, in most cases their parents wouldn't tell them no... it must be quite a shock when somebody, especially a young girl that is supposed to be in awe of their greatness, actually has the audacity to tell them no.. surely she doesn't mean it.

That could very well be the problem at hand; you see I had a woman once tell me that no really means yes and that stop means no. If she told him no and he, maybe, possibly, knew that woman's daughter previously, as I doubt this was a mrs robinson thing, then he might have thought when she said no it was time for the full court press.
It was only after she went running out of the bathroom screaming RAPE, the thought that maybe no did mean no this time and that she really didn't want the skin boat to visit tuna town, crossed his mind. That thought probably exited as quickly as wax paper on a metal slide though and a quick glance in the mirror and a wry little smile to himself, he thought, "na, she wanted me".

Of all the things he endorsed, this is pretty funny. They should keep him as the spokesman. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/Ben-Roethlisberger-loses-endorsement-deal-041310Pittsburgh-area company drops Big Ben from marketing PITTSBURGH (AP) A Pittsburgh company that markets food products endorsed by local sports stars has ended its beef jerky sponsorship deal with Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. PLB Sports president Ty Ballou says Roethlisberger is "falling short" of the company's standards after a Georgia prosecutor announced Monday he will not prosecute the quarterback over sexual assault allegations. The company said in a statement on Tuesday that facts presented at the prosecutor's news conference led to the decision. The company sold " Big Ben's Beef Jerky " in bags depicting the quarterback at Pittsburgh area Giant Eagle supermarkets and GetGo convenience stores. The same company markets a breakfast cereal endorsed by Steelers receiver Hines Ward and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Max Talbot.

yep, he was "falling short" of their standards and just couldn't "measure up" to their expectations.

It's soft and tender.. and even if you don't want it, it jumps out of the package and stuffs itself in your mouth while a body guard stands outside.

It's just like regular beef jerky, except you're forced to eat it.

I know we all like to jab at the Squeelers and Bungals, but I don't find this topic funny anymore. It's just turning out to be downright pathetic.

The ESPN guys were just talking about the possibility of BigRape going to the Raiders.
Man, that would be awesome. Davis has really been dropping the ball letting Cincy and NYJ climb to the top of the D-bag mountain.
Pair that guy up with Coach Jawbreaker and the hate is on. That's cooking with gas.

i'll add another one not being discussed, why not the Bills?
they need a QB and they've been willing to look the other way on character concerns lately.
and just think of how fun it would be to see Ben holding onto the ball behind thier porous OL.

The Hangover: Roethlisberger web page From the article, we learn that Ben: * Still rides without a helmet. In fact, a local TV station caught him doing such, and Ben flipped them the bird. * Everyone that has encountered him in public hates him. He insists on getting his way, often using the line "do you know who I am?" * Asks a pregnant waitress if her boyfriend "forgot to pull out"

I just got done reading this....wow, talk about your name being drug through the mud. He's being exposed for the complete douche bag that he is, and deservedly so. I get tired of all the fans sticking up for his sorry ass. And because you're a Browns fan, they think you're biased and make it up.
