To you and WSU - how about we leave it at this: Biden was stupid for thinking he could/should say something like that in front of an open mic - a mic he knew was open since he had just spoken into it.
I don't care what he says in his office - or in his home. No one does. He should have had more sense than to say that at a national press conference.
That said - it's no biggie in my book.
Well said,my sentiments exactly.

Exactly. Come to Boston, it's a baby's first word around here, usually before finishing with "retarded." Either that or "Wicked Awesome" ...
I like this one, haha. I haven't been around Boston in awhile, but it's so true.
Otherwise: I don't really care that Biden dropped the f bomb. I do care that this healthcare bill is worse than a ham sandwich and that Biden is an idiot. I've got much bigger problems than Joe Biden's swearing.

I've never understood the desire to categorize words into good and bad. It makes no sense.
I don't agree that there. Words have meanings, and some are simply innappropriate. I have tried to take a lot of them out of my vocabulary, since when I was thinking of being a teacher. I mean, slip ups are always allowed, but you simply can't condone some words. They mean something, and it can be really offensive. So in my opinion some words are more appropriate at some times than other words.
And I'm pretty sure that Biden thought it was a very big deal. So, I'll let the bum have it. You can swear in that instance Joe VP, but it still doesn't change the fact that you are helping lead this country into the ground. And that's a really big deal to me.

Sure. I just don't think referring to sex, or bowel movements, etc. is necessarily inappropriate. Words now are taken out of context and given a stigma such that people believe cursing is a gateway leading towards a maladaptive lifestyle.
But, thats just my opinion. I try and keep it to a minimum for the sake of others around me

It is a big deal, because our precious youth might overhear it and begin the downward slide into the gangs, mobs, sociopathic behavior. Think about the kids man, think about the kids. We must protect their sensitive ears, eyes and egos at all times, they must never have to endure work, failure, consequences or thinking for themselves.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
