"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

This is the most excited I've been for a draft since the return in 99.
I'm expecting a ton of trading up and trading down between teams this year. I can't wait!

I think this might be the first draft since...01 that I had no idea who the Browns were going to draft. Hopefully it turns out a little better.
you had a good run Hank.

Thanks Turk! I just hope that in a few years we can look back at this draft as the one that turned us around.

What does everyone think the top 10 on the Browns draft board looks like? This is a most confusing draft for our team...so many holes to fill and so many different ways to go this weekend. Do they rate Trent Williams high enough to spend a king's ran$om on a RT? Where does the consensus best LB, Rolando McClain rate on the Browns board? Do they have Berry rated top 5? Will they strictly adhere to BPA? Would H & H really trade for the rights to Bradford...a guy who probably won't play a down for us this season? Would they sell the farm to get him? I usually have a feel for the direction the team is leaning as we get this close to the draft (save for last year, of course). But I am totally confused as to what this regime plans to do. Here's my draft board for the top 10 as I think the Browns might have it drawn up. Feel free to tear it apart. 1) Suh 2) G. McCoy 3) Berry 4) T. Williams 5) Bradford 6) McClain 7) E. Thomas 8) Kyle Wilson 9) Spiller 10) Iupati

I've come to the conclusion that I want Bradford or Berry. Hopefully Holmgren has too. In my opinion, we have too many extra picks to not get a guy we absolutely want in the 1st. If we have to trade up, so be it. Jumping to #4, to secure Berry, wouldn't be a big price to pay (it's only 300 points on the draft value chart). I'd gladly ship on of our extra 3rd and 5ths to lock up a defensive stud like him. Should be a lot of fun today. Cavs continuing their championship run and the Browns starting theirs.

I said I wouldn't do it, but I'm gonna anyway. I'm blowing off work tonight to watch the draft! I'm excited because we have so many options to make this a real successful draft. Suh,Bradford,Berry,Williams,McCoy,Okung, and Bulaga. One of those guys Will be there at 7 and I'll be happy with any of them. With the exception of Bradford any of these guys will make us a better team immediately. We do not have to move up at all, especially in the early rounds,to get a player that can help us. The only moving around I'll be in favor with would be to move back and acquire more picks for next year. We'll all know soon enough.

How about this to help rid us of the bad taste of drafts past:
I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

I'll be at the bar. We'll be playing a drinking game where anytime they mention Tim Tebow we gotta drink.
Gonna be a long night.

Wow....looking to get f'd up I see.
You should create a kicker bonus. If he gets drafted 1-10 four shots, 11-20 three shots, 21-30 two shots, and 31-32 one shot. Something like that.
I'll be on here tonight for sure (gotta try adding to the max users online record). The Cavs game will be on in the background.

If that's the case, most of us would be toasted before the actual draft begins
Then only thing we will hear more about tonight then Tebow is.......well, there isn't anything we are going to hear more about then Tebow

I'm gonna be in a grad class doing a final exam when we pick.
But I'm going to be hoping that if Eric Berry falls to us, we pull the trigger.
I woke up this morning, and that was my final decision. I want the Browns to draft Berry.
I just hope I don't pull out my phone during the final exam to check the draft and get caught doing so, then accused of cheating or something ridiculous.
So I'm putting my team in the fate of god. If Berry is available, Holmgren will get the message from above and pick Eric Berry (then I can buy a new Berry jersey to replace Wimbley which I'm wearing right now)

That's kind of interesting you're taking a final right when the draft starts. If it were me, I'd definitely be excited and wondering who we took while taking the test. Well, here's to hoping you studied the crap out of it, and now it's so easy lapses in concentration don't even matter. To me it's almost BERRY OR BUST.

Obviously it's not very easy for me right now. But there's nothing I can do. When it comes down to it, I pay for my own graduate school and I'm really not here to screw around.
I have Buffalo Wings ready to heat up when I go home and 1050 ESPN radio for the ride home. As I said, it's gonna be hard, and obviously I'm taking frequent study breaks.
Grad classes are at night, so the final is at 750 PM
But this is my last post for awhile I hope........

I hope he is kidding.
To me I can almost stomach anyone but Berry, or a trade up for Berry. the only pick worse might be Golden Tate!
Here is who I hope gets drafted 1-6 so the Browns don't make the mistake of drafting one of them. Claussen, Tate, Suh, Berry, Haden, McCoy,
As long as the Browns DON'T DRAFT one of them at 7 or sooner, then I can probably live with what they do, though I expect to be unhappy with it.
Everybody has someone they want to pick, odds are it won't be the player you want so expect to be disappointed.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Not neccesarily. We have many needs and as long as we pick a player worthy of the 7th pick I'll be OK. I want Berry, but if Haden,Thomas or one of the top 3 OL are selected I will feel we are getting true value for the pick and will be addressing a big need on the team.

I'll laugh my backside off if the Browns draft Clausen in the 1st and Tate in the 2nd. Throw Long's worst nightmare.
