So... this guy clearly has a head injury or learning disability or something. I don't think he's just an alcoholic. At what point should someone step in and stop putting him on TV for everyone's amusement?

When people get bored of it.

LOL.. I was going to say, when something else comes along that amuses that group of people more than this does.

Just thought I'd update everyone on the results

Tennessee Primary Results

by Ed Kilgore @ 11:34 PM

With most of the results in for today's Tennessee primary, Bill Haslam has easily won the GOP gubernatorial nomination, winning (at this point) 48% of the vote, with Zach Wamp running second at 29% and Ron Ramsey third at 22%. Internet hero Basil Marceaux is running a little under one-half of one percent, with 3446 votes.

The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Thanks...I was going to point that out.

While I voted for Zac in the primary, Bill is going to make a fine governor...and he will be governor. The Dem doesn't stand much of a chance this go around.

Our current governor Phil Bredeson is a Democrat, and I voted for him in the last election...a good guy with a balanced view.

The Dems candidate is the son of a former "Boss Tweed" Dem who's political style is way out of date.

Tennessee is a conservative state minus the goons over in Memphis. I'd be in favor of giving Memphis to Mississippi or Arkansas, but those are pretty good states, so I shouldn't wish that on them.

I see Tennessee like this....Bristol/Johnson City as the mouth...Knoxville, Chattanooga, Nashville as the stomach, Jackson is getting to be the colon, and Memphis is the anus....a greasy, smelly place that is always having to be cleaned up with it's waste flushed away.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.

I've been to Memphis a couple of times... and I have to agree.

I know several people from the Bristol and Johnson City area.

I count them as friends, even if I only see them one week a year. I e-mail several of them on an almost daily basis.

Ever hear of Bill Gaines?

I originally laughed at the videos of this guy but the more I watched them the more I feel bad for him. I would vote for him.

Can't say that I have, but it is 4:45 A.M. and my coffee is still a bit hot to have had more than an initial sip.

Should I know him or is that just one of those questions we sometimes ask seeking that stranger then strange moments?

Nah - he's kind of a big shooter in the Bristol area, that's all. I know you're not from the tri cities area, though.
