I think Vandy is ranked around 16.......if they weren't ranked last week, people must think alot of the Gators.
To be honest...this isn't football...I was kind of, sort of hoping we would lose a game somewhere before the tournament.
Unless we really fall apart, we will get a #1 or #2 seed in the tournament....and that is all you need to at least have a chance at a good start.

They weren't ranked last week... at least they beat the #1 team to deserve such a leap.. Duke beat an unranked Georgia Tech team and #21 Boston College and they went from unranked to 18th... If they can beat unranked Clemson and unranked St. Johns this week I would expect them to be back in the top 5...

American Express and GM stock is down, they are trying to help the economy. ESPN needs a rating boost also

Ok.....I don't pay much attention to BB ratings since it isn't as important.
As a in state school, with a good team, a national reputation for high standards, I am glad the win helps them out. I have rooted for Vandy more often than not.

I believe Vandy beat Tennessee in the same week. Tenn wasn't ranked but is a decent team.... beating Tenn and #1 Florida in the same week makes for a pretty good week.

And if these players don't want taunted by the fans, then maybe they need to consider their own actions on the court first... the hanging on the rin, flexing the muscles, bad-ass faces at the crowd after a dunk, chest pumping and what not. Sorry, if players are going to act like prima donnas, then they need to be able to take it when opposing fans give it back.
Agreed...There is a fine line, between what the fans are doing and what is too much and I am a strong advocate of the fact that we have let the on teh court actions of players get out of hand.
