That I can absolutely agree with. The man is a monster and he fits a penetrating Warren Sapp type DT and not a Casey Hampton stand em up and clog type DT and if we used him like Sapp instead of like Hampton he would be a force.

I really believe also that with Phil Savages drafting that he intended to hire a 4-3 coach once the RAC era was over. Think about it, he trades for Shaun Rogers and Corey Williams who is one elite and one good 4-3 defensive tackle that don't really fit the 3-4. He drafts D'Qwell Jackson which is a nice fit in a 4-3 scheme but not so much for a 3-4, Wimbley was a pass rushing 4-3 DE who I think if he put on a few pounds of muscle could play that position, and I think Savage thought the same thing.

Hopefully we have a coach now in Ryan who can make the 3-4 work, but I am getting tired of not having the talent to run it and having a terrible defense. Right now I'm palming my face because we run a defense that is very linebacker centric and we have a very underwhelming group of linebackers. Especially since it really looks to me like Savage was building his version of the Giants super bowl defense with that defensive line he was putting together.
