I don't know how Peen says stuff like this and still hangs around on this board. I got a 2 week ban last year for posting trade rumors at the MLB trade deadline, yet Peen calling LeBron the "N word" will go unpunished, I'm sure.  Refs sure have their priorites in order here

I have never met Ballpeen, but I have read enough of his posts on a variety of subjects and think highly enough of him to say that I'm confident he is neither a bigot nor a racist.

You know the rules and you broke them. You got what you deserved. Name calling is not permitted when it comes to other board members. Since LeBron isn't a member the rule doesn't apply.
I have no idea what the N word even means nowadays. I don't like it ( because of how it was used in the past) and certainly do not condone the use of it for any reason.
I like Peen and I am disappointed with his use of the term. Of course I'm making the assumption to what the N stands for but I believe I am right.

At no time will vulgarity or offensive language be permitted. Any use of such, even conversationally, will result in an extensive suspension of board privileges. What is and is not in this category will be at the sole discretion of the Site Administrators & Moderators. Common examples would include (but are not limited to) racial epithets or slurs, and words or phrases of a discriminatory or demeaning nature.
* Edit, this is not the first racist thing to come out of Peens mouth on this board.

He just said he was the N word. I do not see how that applies.to this rule. It does give the mods discretion so I guess you are right that he can be suspended for it.
In regards to saying Peen has made racists remarks in the past....
I think you should give examples if you are going to level that charge.

Me too, actually, which is why I comment on how poorly it reflects on him and his views. Calling someone a N is ignorant and racist. sorry, it just is. So he shouldn't be using it unless he wants people to think of him that way.

I don't think you know who or when people are banned. I know of many on the right who have been banned over their comments in the Tailgate Forum.
I do know that repeated offenders get dealt with harsher. There are a few on here who simply ignore rules regarding rumors and sources that cause them to be suspended. That has nothing to do with politics.

No need to apologize....I have a pretty thick hide....and I am sure you are right to some degree...and I'll tell you why....I am tired of being on a two way street yet am only allowed to go one way.
If James is going to call me , you, and every other non Negro a racist (I am assuming one can't be a racist towards their own race in a negative way) then he deserves anything and everything he is called.
That guy doesn't know me, but somehow thinks my motivation is because I am racially biased against him?
He's full of crap and I protest the fact he has the nerve to call me racially biased. That's as far from the truth as it gets for those who really know me.....I am not talking about knowing some dude on a message board.
With that, I'll bow out, and for the 2-3 of you who were offended to the point of calling for my banning and calling the refs biased in their judgment, I apologize I hit a nerve, to both you and the refs or those who defended me....I wasn't trying to do that....but....sometimes that happens when you have discussions of this nature.

I've been banned even though I could never figure out, and was never told, what I did that violated the rules. I can only assume it was because I attacked the logic or motivation of a post. Never called anyone names, never used foul language. But I was way left.
I've also seen guys on the right call me stuff, and even repoted it, and I see them the next day, and the next, etc. so that's my experience. Maybe they just don't like me because I'm always right.
