I watched Don "Majik" Majkowski

He could have been one of the best QB to ever played the game if it wasn't for a rotator cuff injury...before that injury....Maj was money....in fact before that injury....I would put him a notch above Peyton Manning...except he could scrable..the dude was that good...and there was none of these rules about Qb hits back then either.

Brett Farve would have never got a chance had Maj not gotten hurt....Farve would have probably not been traded for...honestly...the shoulder cuff injury did Maj in..they didn't have the medical stuff back then like they do now...Maj was money...it was a thing of beauty to watch that guy on sundays...he was magic...

In terms of the perfect spiral, I know it has been mentioned a few times here but the ideal thrown football does have some wobble in it. Now I agree that some of McCoy's are a little more "wobbly" than they should be, however the deep balls should have a wobble to them. I believe it was the ESPN Sports Science series that documented Drew Brees this year and they did a fantastic job of explaining it. I'm not sure where that can be found now but I'd highly recommend giving that a watch.

In terms of him having "it". Did Hillis carry this team? Yes he did but once again it was a team effort. McCoy was solid at spreading the field out yesterday which helped to open up the running game. I'm so sick of the old Browns that couldn't play both games well at the same time. Yesterday, we saw a team that was clicking on all cylinders. Yes, Hillis was playing out of his mind; however it was McCoy's passes that kept the Patriots in check. I don't believe Hillis has AS good, note that I still think he would have had a good game, if McCoy isn't spreading the field and vice versa. It is truly refreshing for a change to see that offense compliment itself and not allow the defense to zero soley onto one guy.

As was said, I think we still need to give him more time to know if he is the future. But you cannot help but to be excited by what he has shown so far and I feel as though he isn't getting enough of the credit that he deserves for this last game.

As for the Saints game, simply look back at this season alone. He had an off game, however he wasn't frazzled by playing the defending champs. By remaining calm, he never made any stupid mistakes. Sure he didn't win the game for us, but he also didn't lose the game for us ala stupid INT's and pick 6s that we have been accustomed to since we have been back. This season alone, we could have at least 2 more wins if it weren't for some stupid QB mistakes. I'll take a QB that can do that for me any day out of the week. Once again, we need to see more from him but I liked how he even responded to an off game. Especially in seeing that he clearly put that game behind him and progressed into this next game. I sure never saw anything like that from Couch. In a game where defensive interceptions decided the game, our QB had 0 ints. Boy doesn't that sound wierd saying it out loud?

Ok ok ok....

Sheesh. So maybe I was nitpicking...

There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
