If one guy beats out another guy in an open competition ..... well, that's life in the NFL. Happens all the time ...... at QB and at every other position as well.

ya .. thats what i thought .. it also means Frye is better than we thought adn proggressed and we have a REAL GOOD BACK UP in Shuab thats much better than the starter is plaing now ... and just for the record .. i ain;t ready to thrwo Charles to the curb just yet .. i will give hiim to the end of the year before deeming him a back up ...
and whats the other plan ... improve all those positions and PRAY Charles is the man ... if he aint ... what do we do then?? re-sign Cutt as the back up/punt returner ..

Sorry bro, but the 5-11 in 2003 had alot more to do with lack of talent than a QB controversy.............that would explain why we haven't won more than 6 games since then as well.....lol. Charlie has had a full year and a half to grow without having to look over his shoulder, and if he isn't secure enough in his ability not to have a little competition than he probably isn't the answer anyway.
Against logic,the most effective armor is willful ignorance.

To defend Frye, I think the guys got what it takes, he just needs an OL and a running game.
He very rarely gets any time to throw the ball. and when he does get time its usually because the Defense is dropping 7 or 8 into coverage, so its difficult for any QB to decipher that. With a balanced attack, Charlie IS an NFL QB. End of Story.
I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch......

[color:"white"]If Crennel doesn't sit on him over this, he'll lose the team, which hasn't happened yet... then... If that happens, we might as well fire him now and be done with it. Toad, I think he lost this team last week against Pittsburg as that was the last straw. That game, and the way he and they just blew it, was a defining moment for the coaching staff and this team. They could not overcome it today and I think the honeymoon is over and the divorce papers are in the mail. It's not just about winning and losing...although it SHOULD be. This team and its play and lack of direction and talent is ridiculous. Even IF it's not RAC's fault, he dug a hole last week that he isn't good enough to get himself out of ... he's lost this team...he's toast.

man i just typed out a big response and my computer farted before i could send it.
anyway, competition is what we'll get by bringing in anybody. competition is the best thing that can happen to any team and/or player. nothing will happen to the locker room. they wanna win more than anybody. it only divides when the wrong guy is just GIVEN the job. and that's just what happened this year. charlie was just given the job because his competition was non existant. he had no competition. remember we all screamed for rac to bring in a #2 ? i bet the farm it wasn't because he was satisfied with the guys on the bench. it was because charlies position was already predetermined by whoever.
tradition can only carry you so far, then you have to start winning again.

A vet back-up like Shaub or Derek Anderson? Put it all on Charlie? No, get an OL and RB, then put it all on the RB - check the box score in the SD game lately? 21-14 SD, LT 109 rush yards on 19 carries and 2 TDs, he also threw for a TD - Rivers - 14-31 with an int. You QB chasers will never understand this game at all. You need an OL and running game, he's had a running game twice this year - we are 2-0 and he has a rating over 86. When you go to your back-up, save a couple teams in history - your season is done anyway. A back-up is a back-up for a reason. There shouldn't be any competition, if they are both that good that they need to compete - then locker room tension will build and destroy the team. Someone said that 2003 happened because of lack of talent. We have zero o-line and zero RB and you think a new QB would magically change that??? NO we need an o-line, RB - oh and also a veteran OC otherwise no QB will win here. It's a vicious cycle that very few understand. I posted our opening day QBs sinc we came back - we are in our 8th yer and have had 6 different opening day QBs, that's why we lose. Ytown has a great sig that he doesn't pay attention to: "Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it." George Santayana Quit ignoring history, keep the QB and get a line and a real RB.

Great response...here's the problem.
RAC has made some very bad decisions and his gameday presence is awful.
Coaches never change their stripes...he has had basically 1.69 years to tear down, rebuild, and possibly be the worst gameday coach since our return.
Play it how you wish and try and make me look like I'm wrong all you want (cuz I wush I were wrong)...but RAC is not an NFL head coach. Not now anyway, and he's too old to wait on.
I'll chear him on and spend my money and bleed Orange and Brown every darned week, but he ain't the guy.

I read something about causing a rift in the locker room ... wanna really lose the locker room? Treat one position like a prima donna, immune to the same competition and criticism that happens in every other position. You'll see a locker room blow up in a heartbeat as soon as guys start taking the blame for those immune to blame or criticism.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

Soup you're too much dude
Where have Knox and I said that OL and RB is not a problem?? No where... we are saying if we get the opporuntity to bring someone in who can compete with Charlie at QB then DO IT! Competition makes a team better... no matter what position it is.
Plus you are talking about SD?? last time I checked they have a #1 pick QB in place... that might have something to do with them winning as well.... along with their top tier RB.
Which RB would you like to draft? Plus what is that RB going to do against an 8 man front every down? No defense in the league thinks that Chuck can pass on them so they stack the box - which is one reason why Droughns went from a 1000 yard season last year to we having absolutely no running game this year (injuries at Center have also hurt).
I agree OL and RB need to be addressed.... but I'm not going to give the QB a pass because I don't want him worrying about compeition... because that's dumb as hell.

LT isn't bothered by an 8 man front at all. He gets it all the time and he's the best RB (actually player) in the entire NFL. Maybe I just have the "Butch Davis fear" in me. All he did was change QBs and not once actually address RB or line. I don't want a QB change because I'm tired of the same neglect at the other spots.

I respect your opinion on everything and always suck in your posts and the knowledge radiating from them. That being said, I disagree as to how Frye is supposed to handle that situation. Remember the McNabb/TO sideline episode last year? McNabb is a great leader, one of the best in the league, and he wasn't there putting TO in his place on the spot. He didn't shut him up. I just don't think it's IMPERATIVE that he beats down the bully like some people want. Then again, I haven't seen it yet, so don't crucify me.
As for the line... THANK YOU. I'm pro-losealltherestofourgamesandpickJoeThomastheLTfromWisconsin. Then in the second round picking up a beastly guard (though defensive line is also acceptable). Same in the third round. We need linemen. Get great offensive linemen and the ball will start rolling. We'll get more yards on a first down, or be able to pass comfortably in the pocket, or pick up short yardage when we need it, pick up a stunt, it would be a trickle down effect if you ask me. JUST GET THE BIG MEN IN THE TRENCHES!
Finally... bench Edwards for more than just one quarter. Send a real statement. Don't just gently brush his wrist (not even a slap if you just do it for a quarter if you ask me).
Politicians are puppets, y'all. Let's get Geppetto!

SD also has a QB that can look at an 8 man front and then find a one on one WR... we can't
I'm not saying going out and change the QB... but I want us to bring a QB in if we have an opportunity who can compete for a job if nothing else to push Charlie.... hell maybe it'll happen like it did in SD and we draft a great QB and Charlie decided to turn into a great QB like Drew did and we'll be able to trade one of them

OR - is it just that or WR can't get open and there's can. Also, notice how the 8 man fronts against us always break through the line when we pass? Big difference is the OL and RB.

I'm tired of all of the over-analyzation; don't know what we need, don't care what it is anymore, and don't care who ultimately figures it out, but something needs to change.

II'll let you differentiate between bad decisions and gameday presence (Vince Lombardi and Bill Walsh? Are these YOUR examples? Please):
Keeping Mo as long as he did...multi-hour meeting with Savage before finally cutting Mo loose because he didn't want to do it;
Running Droughns up the middle time and time again when it isn't working and everyone knows it's coming;
Finally figuring out after game 10 that a change of pace might be a good thing and actually say so in your presser;
Darn near every presser he gives;
Running on first down when it's going nowhere time and time again;
Feature that change of pace idea in pre-season and then abandoning it altogether until game 11;
Playing not-to-lose nearly every week...when we do not have the talent to go toe-to-toe with anyone but the Raiders;
BTW did you see how unprepared we were for the Raiders? The Bengals? Not prepared or ready to beat SD even though they tried very hard to hand us the game;
Starting Dropcutt as a wideout at the start of the season;
Playing bend don't break on defense when you know we aren't deep enough to stay after it for four quarters;
No fire in this team anyplace other than kick returner, TE, and the idiot WR that drops too many passes to be acting the fool;
Unproven players who get away with acting the fool;
The fourth quarters of HOME games against Baltimore & Pittsburg...darn near entire game planning at the end;
Second half adjustments and/or lack thereof;
Insisting on not playing rookies while going with guys like Andruzzi who are so done it is ridiculous;
Hmmm...that's a start. Oh, If he had a hand in picking Wilson or Sowells then I'll add that...because if these guys can't get activated on gameday over the players in their positions, then he's not much of a talent evaluator either.
Ok...now it's YOUR turn. Give me a reason why you think he is a good decision-maker and gameday coach. If you want to debate it.
Also, tell me why you think he is an NFL-caliber head coach...and because he's only 2/3 through his second year isn't going to cut it.

I'm tired of all of the over-analyzation; don't know what we need, don't care what it is anymore, and don't care who ultimately figures it out, but something needs to change. [color:"white"] Wouldn't that fall into the category of UNDER-analyzation? Josh, as far as Edwards goes, a primadonna like that would absolutely FUME to be standing there on the sideline........all by himself.........with the entire stadium staring at him knowing what he did. That would be good enough to send the message. If RAC went so far as to sit him down for an entire game just for that, other players would think he took it too far and freak out as well. That's just my opinion though when thinking of today's "me me me" players. On a side note, I don't think RAC has lost this team at all. The defense is starting a bunch of street free agents at STARTING cornerback. Check the box score, and for those of you that saw the game, remember what you saw Our run defense was excellent today. Nobody corners got beat by the 2nd best trio of wideouts in the league, and our offense line was exposed for the stiffs they are. They didn't quit, they just suck I also have to tell Willie (I think it's Willie) that this isn't the 2nd year of rebuilding. 1.69 or whatever you said. This is the first year of rebuilding. Last year was a true teardown year. If you want to know the difference, just ask around. We've clobbered it into enough peoples heads where I know someone will remember it *L*
***Gordon, I really didn't think you could be this stOOpid, but you exceeded my expectations. Wussy. Manziel, see Josh Gordon. Dumbass.***

The posts after a loss are always the most insightful and well thought out. Why would you fire the head coach after just a year and a half? They got rid of the crap last year. This year they got some of the pieces but noway can you acquire a whole team in just one year. If you thought this was going to be a better year than this you were fooling yourself before the season even began.

you can point to Frye, or the lack of a running game, but the cause is still the same.
Without improvements to the OLine the Browns will continue to struggle.
I think Savage has gotten the message.
On Defense, it really is the same story, we need better linemen.
Welcome back, Joe, we missed you!…. That did not age well.

RAC: Why was butch giving 4 years but RAC only less then 2? Maybe one of the reasons why the browns lose so much is getting rid of coaches during their process of rebuilding the team. Romeo deserves at least 1 more full season.
Frye: Wow how things change, last week he is a or could be the answear to not the answear. Young QBs have bad games (Frye did seem to go down hill till the 2nd half), has long has they learn from them is the thing. Lets see what he does next week.
Edwards: Should be benched for next weeks game to send a message to the rest of the team that that kind of outrage will not be tolerated. Matter of Frye handling it, he could of decided to do the proper thing and wait till they got in the locker room to address the situation.

As for the outburst, someone is going to take this the wrong way, which will be unfortunate for them, but Frye needed to standup and take control of that situation. HE'S supposed to be the leader of this offense. HE needs to put Edwards in his place and not turn away like a kid being pushed around by a bully. That's the right thing to do on the playground. It's not the right thing to do when you're trying to prove you're the leader of the team. I'm not saying he should have punched a few of Bray's pearly whites to the turf, but he got punked by a guy who's turned into TO Junior. Frye has to grow up and grow up quickly when that crap happens first off....i'm not taking this the wrong way just to be clear are we talking about when edwards grabed frys shoulder pad on the sideline and fry just turned away? cause if we are i agree fry needs to put edwards in his place....but not on the sidelines with cameras rolling..... do it in the locker room behind closed doors.....i give fry alot of credit for not going off like a child like edwards did... that dude needs to just shut up and play...catch the ball, and quit bashing his team-mates.....
Attitude is everything....FEAR THE ELF!!!

[color:"white"] II'll let you differentiate between bad decisions and gameday presence (Vince Lombardi and Bill Walsh? Are these YOUR examples? Please):
I didnt bring them up for examples .. just stated a FEW FACTS .... unless U think they were perfect ..... were u one of the geniuses that wanted Billicheck ran out of town?? how'd that work out for ya??
and no genius I'm not saying that rAC will turn out like them .. but christ the guy deserves a Fair shake .... u dont want to give him one and I wanna know why ... your IMPATIENT and expect miracles ... thats no reason to fire a coach ...
[color:"white"] Keeping Mo as long as he did...multi-hour meeting with Savage before finally cutting Mo loose because he didn't want to do it;
OMG .. u mean the HC wanted to give one of his assistants a chance to grow into the role he hired him for .. THE HORROR ... yes he should be fired for that ..
and BTW .. hows that firing working out so far .... lets see our O managed 6 points vs the Stilers and today against the LOWLY BUNGLES D we did even less ...
[color:"white"]Running Droughns up the middle time and time again when it isn't working and everyone knows it's coming;
RAC's calling the plays now??? and what would u suggest menza ... bombs on every play??? OK then ....
we do need to try and run the ball sometimes U know .... don't U??
[color:"white"] Finally figuring out after game 10 that a change of pace might be a good thing and actually say so in your presser;

well menza .... i would say thats actually a step forward .. wouldnt u??
and BTW .. how'd that work out today?? how did the change of pace guys do?? how many blocks did they miss on pass rushers?? how many yards did they get??
maybe the problem is we LACK TALENT to do some of the things that RAC and JD wanna do ...
naaaaa .. u can't be wrong ... it has to be RAC's fault ...
[color:"white"] Darn near every presser he gives;
I dont even know what this line item means .... but i could care less what u or anyone thinks of his pressers .. hes a football coach not a public speaker .... remember Billicheck .. how were his???
[color:"white"] Running on first down when it's going nowhere time and time again;
u said that two seconds ago .... next ....
[color:"white"] Feature that change of pace idea in pre-season and then abandoning it altogether until game 11;
he featured the change of pace in pre-season?? *LOL* .... we maybe startig to get to the root of the problem here .... and it has alot to do with how u proccess things ...
I would say in pre-season he was giving the rooks playing time to see if they COULD HELP THE TEAM ... amd to give them some valuable experience ... based on both of their blitz recognition and BLOCKING SKILLS he prolly should ahve played them alot more in the pre-season .. *L* ..
featuring the change of pace in the pre-season and then abondining it .. LOL* .. good stuff ..
[color:"white"] Playing not-to-lose nearly every week...when we do not have the talent to go toe-to-toe with anyone but the Raiders;
with our current level of talent .. playing not to lose is a pretty damm good plan IMO .. i mean u say we dont have the talent to go toe to toe with teams and then in the next breath u say we should play to win .. how do u do that without the talent ......
and remember the key to your entire theory here is the most intelligent thing u said so far ... WE DONT HAVE THE TALENT ... u should have quit typing then ...
[color:"white"] BTW did you see how unprepared we were for the Raiders? The Bengals? Not prepared or ready to beat SD even though they tried very hard to hand us the game;
but u just said that we dont have the talent to go toe to toe with the Bolts or the Bungles .. so witch is it??
and i have to remember this .. LACK OF TALENT = NOT PREPARED .... i bet the coaches were on the gold course alot this week instead of wasting there time studying film and game planning .... i even heard that they brought in the coaches from Baldwin Wallace to run a practice last week .,,,,
[color:"white"] Starting Dropcutt as a wideout at the start of the season;
*LOL* ..... brey was coming off major knee surgery l... we didnt want to rush him ... it was INTELLIGENT to work him back in slowly ... then Joe got hurt ...
what the hell was he suppose to do ... crap another WR out of his ass?? *L* ..
[color:"white"] Playing bend don't break on defense when you know we aren't deep enough to stay after it for four quarters;
so we should start taking alot more chances so teams can score on us quicker?? ya .. thats a good solid plan ... teams with a lack of talent play bend but not break for a reason .. and its a good reason ...
[color:"white"]No fire in this team anyplace other than kick returner, TE, and the idiot WR that drops too many passes to be acting the fool;
*L* ... so we need fire .. OK .. just what we need more guys acting like jackasses that never made a play before ... that'd make us better ... cause the others obviously cant be trying as hard cause when they make a play they dont act like it's the first time they ever made one ..
[color:"white"] Unproven players who get away with acting the fool;
OK .. witch player{s} .. and what did he (they) do that they got away with as far as u know ... can't wait to hear this one .. *L*
[color:"white"] The fourth quarters of HOME games against Baltimore & Pittsburg...darn near entire game planning at the end;
those 4th Quarters were brutal ... no doubt ... not sure what we could have done differently that would have changed things ... were they bad ... YUP ... shoudl rAC be fired for it?? NOT EVEN CLOSE ...
lets see what the guy can do in all 4 quarters when he has TALENT ... were VERY INCONSISTENT for a reason ... and it all revolves around 2 things ..
1. LACK OF OVERALL TALENT ..
2. and most of the TALENT we do have is VERY VEY RAW AND LEARNING ..
bad combo for consistency ....
[color:"white"]Second half adjustments and/or lack thereof;
or maybe the other teams have MORE TALENT to make better adjustments .... u seem to think that RAC can just wave a magic wand and the players will be able to do what he wants ... did u ever think we keep things simple cause of the LACK OF TALENT on the team to do certain things???
i doubt it but I thought it was worth asking anyhow ..
[color:"white"] Insisting on not playing rookies while going with guys like Andruzzi who are so done it is ridiculous;
ahh yes ... rushing rookies is the answer .... I mean a guy drafted in rnd 5 that was a tackle in college should definetly be able to step right in and start at LG in the NFL ..
please .. give me a break ... holding him back did two things ....
1. IT PUT OUR BEST OL ON THE FIELD ...
2. prolly saved Charlies life ...
unles your talking about another rook ..... but i doubt it ...
[color:"white"]Hmmm...that's a start
yes .. avery very very very weak one ... but a start none the less ...
[color:"white"] If he had a hand in picking Wilson or Sowells then I'll add that...because if these guys can't get activated on gameday over the players in their positions, then he's not much of a talent evaluator either.
really .. well maybe u dont know as much about football as u think U do ...
how many rookie 5th rnd draft picks start in the NFL on the OL ... when u get that # .. find out how many of them are playing an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT position than they played in college .. and i don't mean just switcing sides from LT to RT .. i mean an ENTIRELY NEW POSITION ,, go ahead genius ...
and wilson .... and i have been dissapointed in the fact he aint seen the field ... who should he play over .... brey?? Joe??? Cutt?? Cribbs??? again hes a ROOKIE that is still learnikng the NFL game its not as easy of a transition as u wanna make it out to be ...
before U hang RAC for these two picks .... can they at least have 2 years ...
[color:"white"] Ok...now it's YOUR turn. Give me a reason why you think he is a good decision-maker and gameday coach.
I never said he was ... i just said he should'nt be fired w/o being given a CHANCE TO SUCEED .. he needs more time .. and thankfully he will get it .. weather menzas like u agree with it or not ...
I'll let u know what i thiink in a year or two ... unless hes a bonafide failure sooner .. but i doubt it ...

Not that u need any help...But I thought this "Presence" thing from WSU was about what Rac looks like on the sidelines...Figured I'd just throw in that he looks like he's wondering what he's gettin' for Xmas every week...lol...
Willie...Willie...Willie...The better part of the reason we're in this situation is people like u who demonstrate ZERO PATIENCE...And have very little clue what YOUTH & LACK OF TALENT on a football team does to that teams Coaching Staff...It hinders what u can do ALL OVER THE FIELD...
2 questions then we can FIRE Rac...lol...
1) Why do we not open up this offense??? (There's 2 answers to this one)
2) Why do we not BLITZ like crazy in Rac's 3-4 D? (He did it in NE)
Go Browns!!!

i think there will be lots of changes AGAIN!!
either the Browns go QB with Troy Smith, or go RB with Adrian Peterson... thats the only way i see it!! and i hope the Front Office sees the same!!
do you know how much more teams would have to prepare themselves to play a team with a FAST QB!! I think Smith is what the Browns need..

[color:"red"]Time to get ready to pull the plug and get ready for next year.
Lets PULL the plug on threads like these..we know there's been too much turnover in this organization and we have to give these guys time to build this team..what NEEDS to be done is get a handle on the fighting and pointing fingers by the big mouths on this team..once RAC put shis foot down..sits EDWARDS ..send a message..the team will perform better..right now they have no will...at least the offense doesn't. But I'm NOT FOR FIRING ANYONE this season or next.

What's with the constant attempts to insult my intelligence? I've learned in life that when people have a serious insecurity problem, they try and belittle other people. Problem is, it doesn't work.
You have no idea how smart I am...or how patient...and you have no idea what I do and do not know about football.
You have your opinion and I have mine.
Getting on with it:
I did not say one thing about being upset over the team's record and being impatient with Ws & Ls. Since you brought it up though, I'll tell you what I've told every Browns fan I know. I expected 8-8 before LCB went down and immediately adjusted my prediction to 6-10 afterwards...and I think we will still get there. In spite of the coaching of this team.
I DID want Belichick run out of town. He was AWFUL in CLEVELAND. He himself admitted that until he got fired and moved on, he was too much of a control freak. It wasn't until he was canned that he realized he couldn't do it all. RAC might not be a control freak, but he is incredibly stubborn and imo obviously does not have these guys ready to play at the start of the game... and he is lost in the fourth quarter.
Before you insult my intelligence or football knowledge again, you should do a little research. Sowells was a 4th round pick...not a 5th. And yes, I do expect that a 4th round OL draft pick would be active on game day with an OL in need of as much help as we are. (BTW, I wouldn't care that you missed the round if you weren't so hell bent on insulting me.)
Regarding Wilson...again, I expect every year's 3rd round pick to at least be active on game day. Not a stud or even a starter necessarily...and I am NOT saying either guy is a bust. BE was out early and we drafted this guy to be a player in '07.
I think RAC HAS been given a fair shake. I believe that even with better players, he will be stubborn and remain lost on game day with players who aren't motivated to play football?a lot like Belichick was until he got his awakening.
It was painfully obvious that Mo was not the guy. How much more time should he have wasted trying to figure that out? In the name of continuity?
RAC is the HC...not just the DC. So...if the offense regularly gives a disgusting display of football, that falls...ultimately...on RAC's head. Whether he calls the plays or gets Bill Walsh to do it. If RAC wanted to be our DC, I'd keep him until he keeled over dead.
Lots of teams make something out of very little...lots of teams play rookies to see what they've got.
If you still believe (after reading my posts and watching the team) that RAC DOES have the team ready to play...a viable game plan for four quarters...has command of the team and direction on game day...makes the best adjustments possible at halftime...is utilizing his players to their ability...etc, then we simply have a huge disagreement. No need to insult intelligence either way.
I am very aware of the talent level of this team and I am likely more patient than 90% of people in this country...and that doesn't mean squat.
I've given you plenty of reasons why I think RAC is not the guy. You've explained to me that you think he should be given more time to work with a lack of talent. I understand that...I just disagree. Ultimately, at the end of RAC's tenure (whenever that is), I hope you are right and I am wrong.
Lastly, I am not one of those guys who will bad mouth RAC over and over again. I've stated my opinion and will not likely be swayed...nor will I make numerous posts about my opinion of RAC as a head coach outside of this thread. I don?t like it, but I believe it to be true.

Attack,
Everything in your post, except the part about pulling the plug on certain posts, points to RAC.
I'm not saying that means you should change your mind about not firing him...just found that to be interesting.
Maybe with better talent we won't have those problems...I sure hope so.

No , everything DOES NOT POINT to Rac ..is he responsible for keeping control of the team? Yes..but now that this has happened he's got to take charge. Now what Diam and others are telling U is simple,the TEAM lacks talent and has a lot of young players.. No need for me to go into detail..but put a bunch of young players in on offense and U get CONFUSION...and thats what really came out yesteday..utter confusion..

I agree that the team is young and is short on talent, maybe for those reasons alone RAC is not the guy. He prefers vets and possibly cannot relate to those few young talented players that we do have on the team.
I'll agree to the utter confusion as well. The problem is with such a high degree of confusion in the 11th game of the year. The 11th game and twelfth week! Someone surely had to see this coming, didn't they? In any event, confusion is all about coaching.
Do you think this control problem started, festered, and burst all just yesterday?
Attack, I am really not trying to be a jerk here and I hope I am wrong...I just do not like the signs that I am seeing from this team and the coaching staff.

I get you're not trying to be a jerk..but look at it like we do..I don't want to can anyone UNTIL they've had time to build the team and it sinks..like Botch ..he had 4 years to improve the team and he didn't.. Give Phil/Rac 2 years more to improve the team..within that time some players will NEED to be jettisoned..but if they have a opportunity to put talented players in , it'll turn itself around.. Now what HAS to be done now is for Rac to send a message by applying some discipline to the ones who are ME ORIENTED..

Here's my biggest criticism of Romeo...
How do we play the Steelers like we want to assault somebody, then play the Bengals like we just don't care? They're equally important opponents.
Moreover, how do we play WORSE vs. Cinci at OUR STADIUM?
There's something intangible about that, and those intangibles fall on the head coach, like it or not.

Luckily right now, in my opinion, we only have one of those.
