I think Amukamara is a good choice, but I think Quinn is a better choice. They need help off the edge in that 3-4.

I'll stay out of it as I would potentially profit from the choice. However, I would appreciate it if a decision was made in the next 17 minutes

With the 8th pick of the 2011 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans select:

Nick Fairley - DT - Aubrn

Pretty easy decision. He was 3rd on my Titans big board behind Dareus and Peterson but DL is a much bigger need for the Titans than CB which is why I wasn't interested in moving up when I suspected I could get Fairley staying put. I was always higher on Dareus than Fairley, but am surprised at how much Fairley's stock has fallen since games stopped being played.

An important note: Tennessee's new defensive line coach, Tracy Rocker, coached Fairley at Auburn. If anyone can get the most out of his obvious talent, it’s him.

Can you imagine if he ended up a Texan? Wow. Andre Johnson, and A.J. Green.
Nightmares for D Coordinators. With their shaky D, that would be some high scoring games.

If I'm New England I'd try and trade up into the 11 12 or 13 slot to get the reciever that's left after Washington(presumably)takes one, and befor St. Louis takes the other.

Remember 2007 Moss Stallworth, and Welker. I think Jones/Green, Welker, and Morehead would be comparable. Also I think their line is more geared to pass blocking than run blocking, so if they keep a pass oriented offense they won't have to rebuild the o-line quite yet.

if Cam Newton is there. as much as I don't like Cam as a QB prospect, I also think he's the most likely one to go early in this draft and Carolina may well take a QB.

well, considering the shape of Houston's secondary, I think when the time limit is up, we'll have a unanimous choice for his pick.

I'm going to venture a guess and say that's not going to happen.

The people we're having issues with aren't on the board to know you want them to send their numbers.

Or was that a joke?

Well Lamps time is up

my vote is for Prince Amukamara. The Texans had one of the worst pass defenses if not THE worst in the league last year.

Well yeah they were dead last.

I'm saying Prince. If I have to watch the Texans, I at least want them to pretend they can defend a WR on the other team.

I wouldn't. The Pats defense needs help. The need a good end, a good outside linebacker and with the contract situations on the offensive line they could use a good guard. They can probably solve all of those with the first 3 picks and still land a quality receiver at the end of round 2.

I know they are switching but Phillips is a genius at defensive coordinator. Everywhere he go's the production immediately sky rockets whoever may be on the team. Plus they have a couple of guy's who might be able to rush the passer. One is Connor Barwin who they just drafted not too long ago who spent the year on ir and the other is Cushing who I beleive will fit well into a 3-4.

6 - in one -- half dozen the other - if Gabbert and Newton are "the two" annointed QB's and they both take 'em. Now, if they both happen to be gone before Cincy, and the Bengals take Green, you're still in the same boat. Take Peterson,....and HE might not be there at six either,....

maybe. they might not like Gabbert enough to take him that high. I figure someone will in the top10 because alot of those teams need a QB, but I also think that 1/2 those teams probably don't like one or the other.
