Evan Moore certainly can catch the ball.

Are you saying that you think they'll move him further out and use him like a slot receiver?

I wouldn't mind seeing more 2 TE sets though. Mismatches everywhere and Watson & Moore have proven that they can catch the ball.

Then draft a WR like Jonathan Baldwin (2nd round), Tandon Doss (4th), Austin Pettis (4th) or any receiver familiar with the WCO.

Give us some DL help and LB depth later in the draft. Even consider packaging some picks or even some players to get extra picks.

According to some, he is "too slow" to be a WR, hence he is stuck at TE. I envision him as a Dave Logan type, but of course the game has sped up considerably since his day.

I feel that at number 6, we are in a very good place to get a top playmaker, no matter who we get. It might be just my pessimistic Gut, but for some reason when I think of Fairley, it brings up memories of "Big Penny"! ewwwwww I hope I'm Wrong! JMHO Go Brownies!!!

Warren had a very limited skill set and should never have been drafted that high. I think his best sack year was something like 4. Warren's attitude wasn't the biggest problem, it was lack of talent.

Of course, he's slow as a WR, but slot receivers aren't necessarily the fastest on the team but they often have some of the best hands on the team. His 40-time was 4.74 and some WRs in this years draft have numbers in the 4.6s. He's not that much slower than they are. I wouldn't try to make him a flanker, but I could see him in a slot on some plays. Also, most WRs aren't 6'6" and 250# either.

Gotta disagree. With my eyes I see only two slam dunks in this draft, Peterson and Green. Personally I think it's even a good stretch before you even get to Jones in WR position. I know a lot of people disagree with that but you never take a guy who people are whispering about his hands in the first round. He looks like Braylon to me, but I digress. You absolutely can find high quality receivers in later rounds, especially to run in the WCO. But Green is a bonified #1 for 29 teams in the league on day 1. I'm all for taking Dareus, Peterson or even Fairly and drafting a WR that high bums me out except if, And and only if, that player is Green.

I tend to agree, but I think that if he is that stupid to have let that slip his lips, then he ought to get an eval.

I'll throw this out:

Darius is the top player on the Browns board.

Green, Fairley, Peterson, Quinn and Bowers.
Something along those lines...

When Heckert mentioned that 2 guys on his wish list for #6, I was guessing Darius and Peterson. Even though there is no way he is ther at #6, Darius is the one guy I pass on Peterson for. The only one.

For me, Darius, Peterson, Green, Fairly.

I think Peterson more likely there at #6 than Green. Fairly most definitely there IMHO. Of course, if Darius and Peterson gone, I would like a trade down most of all. With Peterson gone, a QB is probably there, and gives us the trade down chance.
