Thanks for the props, fellow Dawgs. It's really not that difficult. I will provide an update as long as the Browns have not been mathematically eliminated.

Remember, ELIMINATION is about as simple as Cincy beating Oakland, their 8th win, which we could only match winning out. Of course, we then lose the first tiebreaker because they swept us. HOWEVER, if Denver loses to San Diego on Sunday, we're still in it for another week, even if Cincy beats the Raiders.

Not much maybe about it now,...I pride myself every year in trying to stay positive until the Browns are mathematically eliminated. If they could play football as half as good as I can evaluate the playoff process, then we'd have something.

In case anyone is wondering, outside of the fact that we can't compete, why the numbers say so,....

Denver and Cincy can't both go 7-9 (our best possible final record) because they play each other in 2 weeks. If they tied, their worst record, 7-8-1 would qualify them both over us by 1/2 game. If one of them goes 7-9, we lose the head-to-head tiebreaker.

In researching and spreadsheeting all the possibilities, it is still a longshot, but the Steelers and the Bengals can still both make it along with Baltimore. I don't think that would be all that bad, looking at it from the " well if they can make it, why shouldn't we " viewpoint.
