I don't see her as politically relevant now that she isn't riding someone else's presidential ticket, yet the media still just loves to use her as a whipping post. Unless their whole point is to keep her in the foreground as an example of "look how dumb the GOP is", I'm shocked that they haven't just let her go the way of Bob Dole, Al Gore or Dan Quayle.
Bob Dole, and Dan Quayle,, I haven't heard thier names for a long time., they don't really do any self promotion at all.. they seem to be content to sit off camera and live a quiet life.
Al Gore had a 15 minutes of fame after he lost in 2000...
I honestly think that Palin believes she has a chance to be at least a change agent.. so she rents a bus, travels the country, writes a book, quits her job as Gov. of Alaska.. in other words, she stays in the limelight..
She calls attention to herself all the time.. then wonders why she gets picked on

Every time they pick on her, they are keeping her relevant and she's making more money. I think she'll worry when they stop picking on her but for now, she's cashing in and doing quite well for herself with it all.
