There are just as many stories like that about Obama, and I could say the exact same thing about the political draw regarding him. Of course, those who share his political views say those stories are just made up, or things like that happen when you are making your way to the top. When he can't remember how many states we have or what year it is they say everyone makes mistakes....but if someone on the other side does it they are complete morons.
People claim all sorts of reasons for disliking a candidate, when their candidate does the exact same things....and they will swear up and down that isn't true.
I find it humorous that you think I have high praise for Bush. Wasn't it pointed out that Obama is simply playing out like Bush's Third term?
Having been a citizen of Texas under the governorship of Bush in Texas and as a citizen of the US under his presidency, I never have been a big fan of his. You might say that Bush was part of the reason that I left the GOP, except it more had to do with the national GOP. He was just my more local reason to not like the GOP.
Quote: Would you have been more satisfied if I blathered like an idiot and named nothing I read, a la Palin's answer?
I wouldn't have cared if you responded or not. When you did and you cited the sources that you read, it only proved why you think (or parrot the ideas of others) as you do.
Actually, if the Palin interview had never occurred and you answered the question I asked to you the way that she had, I would have been alright with it, especially in the context that the question was asked.
She could have rattled off a good deal of 'respected' newspapers and she would have been ridiculed for saying that she read them and still carried herself the way that she did.
Maybe she reads 'Field & Stream' or 'Archery' or 'Cosmo'. Why does it matter? Frankly, I never heard of so much attention paid to the VP candidate as was paid to her. Ask yourself 'why'? Wouldn't it be more important to ask questions about policy to John McCain?
But, I digress. You lefties still have some inextricable and unexplainable psychological pathology about the woman. Just the mention of her name gets under the skin of socialists (in all of it's shades and different extremities), whether it's big government Republicans, the mainstream Democrats, the open Socialists, Marxists and Communists (i.e., the labor unions).

I never said I thought you had high praise of Bush.
Quote: When you did and you cited the sources that you read, it only proved why you think (or parrot the ideas of others) as you do.
What ideas, exactly, have I parroted from others?
That Sarah Palin's an idiot? Sorry, that opinion wasn't formed by Time or Newsweek or the Wall Street Journal ... it was formed by listening to her speak.
Quote: You lefties still have some inextricable and unexplainable psychological pathology about the woman.
I don't have any pathology regarding the woman. She's pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme.
The most she can really do in terms of the political landscape is hand Barack Obama his second term on a silver platter.
Quote: I've heard most if not all of those quotes in media.
Of course you have. I know a lot of liberals/democrats and when I bring up these quotes many think they're made up, exaggerations or taken out of context.
And your point is?
I think that his point is that Obama doesn't get ridiculed for major missteps and Palin is lambasted for anything she says, which is usually taken out of context, diced up interviews, etc.
Let's take the 57 states comment, for example. If Palin had said it, she would have been mercilessly ridiculed as being out of her mind. Obama gets a pass on it from the media. He gets joked about by conservatives like those here for it, but defended by statists like yourself.
Of course, Sarah Palin is stupid and Barack Obama is the smartest president the country has ever had, according to biased presidential historian, Michael Beschloss.
The noted historian make the stupid comment but when quizzed about Obama's IQ, can't give a straight answer. Must be stupider than Palin with that kind of answer to the question from Imus (who has more credibility than Couric & Gibson combined).
Palin is a money hungry quiter. She is not somone to praise. She couldn't even finish her term as governor. Now since Alaska is tired of her they are moving to Arizona. Good riddence.
Quote: I think that his point is that Obama doesn't get ridiculed for major missteps and Palin is lambasted for anything she says, which is usually taken out of context, diced up interviews, etc.
Well, if that's the case, then that point makes no sense.
Look, Palin isn't made to appear like an idiot. She is a simple-minded woman with simple-minded followers.
Her gaffes aren't cut up or misinterpreted or taken out of context. They're right there on the table for all to see, usually whenever she opens up her mouth.
Are there people gunning for her? Oh, no doubt.
But this narrative that the media makes her look stupid is ... well, stupid.
Quote:

Quote: I never said I thought you had high praise of Bush.
But you obviously think so because the image of Bush on Time Magazine cover is an attempt to deaden my criticism. On the contrary, it only enhanced my criticism of Time. In my view, the differences between Bush & Obama are trivial.
Bush is criticized for starting wars by the left without justification, but I disagree with them. I don't agree with Bush on the execution of those wars and I would have been happy to obliterate both Iraq & Afghanistan by destroying everything in them. But, of course, Obama starts a war against Libya and the media defends him to the hilt by not calling him out on anything.
Quote: What ideas, exactly, have I parroted from others?
That Sarah Palin's an idiot? Sorry, that opinion wasn't formed by Time or Newsweek or the Wall Street Journal ... it was formed by listening to her speak.
Uh huh. I believe you. Since the meat of my argument was against the way YOU think, which is why I put the "or parrot the ideas of others" into parenthesis, but you responded to the minor point I made about you parroting the ideas of others as the main one. You obviously took that as the thrust of my argument which lends even more credence to it than I had intended.
Quote: I don't have any pathology regarding the woman. She's pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme.
If that's the case, why does she get so much attention? Inconsequential people or matters just don't get the kind of attention that she obviously gets. She is obviously not as inconsequential as you would like us to believe.
Quote: The most she can really do in terms of the political landscape is hand Barack Obama his second term on a silver platter.
Really? I think she can do much more than that. She could take the narrative away from the media. Take the loving spotlight away from Obama and put it on his policies. That's rather inconsequential stuff, isn't it?
Quote: Palin is a money hungry quitter. She is not someone to praise. She couldn't even finish her term as governor. Now since Alaska is tired of her they are moving to Arizona. Good riddance.
I took the liberty of correcting the misspellings in your post but other than that, I'd like to know how you come to the conclusion of why they are moving to Arizona. Are you privy to something the rest of us aren't or just some personal dislike of her showing through?
I find it rather comical how stupid people can make themselves look while trying to make another person look stupid.
Thanks for your valuable input though. It'll get filed appropriately for future reference.
Quote: Well, if that's the case, then that point makes no sense.
Look, Palin isn't made to appear like an idiot. She is a simple-minded woman with simple-minded followers.
You know, most every time there really are simple answers to problems that confront this nation. When the answer is more complex, that's what advisers are there - suggesting potential answers or courses of action to take.
But, I digress, you're the one calling her an idiot, really, without any indication that she is an idiot. You don't like her policies so you call her an idiot. I don't like Obama's policies but I don't call him an idiot. I think that his policies tend towards authoritarianism.
Frankly, I think the attacks, such as calling Palin an idiot, is simply an attempt to validate a desire for her views to be ridiculed. Obviously, by calling her an idiot, any political discourse with her now, would be seen as trying to talk to an idiot. The fear really is that she isn't the idiot that she is accused of being and that at some point, that reality will have to be faced.
Quote: Her gaffes aren't cut up or misinterpreted or taken out of context. They're right there on the table for all to see, usually whenever she opens up her mouth.
The Couric interview? The Gibson interview was hacked to pieces before being aired. It was snippets of her responses. Whole paragraphs were removed which showed the context of her answer. Furthermore, her answer was correct and Gibson didn't know what the subject that he was asking her about.
Quote: But this narrative that the media makes her look stupid is ... well, stupid.
The narrative is to make conservatives look stupid. She is but one face of conservatism. Rush Limbaugh is another favorite target. Michele Bachmann is another. Hell, Donald Trump is one and he's not even a conservative by any stretch. The attacks on Trump were because he upset the apple cart.
Quote: 1) I've never defended him for it
2) A statist? You have got to be kidding me.
I never accused you of defending him for it. Although.... He does get a pass everywhere in the media about it. They didn't say that he was stupid for it but Sarah Palin gives a less than fantastic answer to a question about newspapers & magazines that she reads and she's vilified as being intellectually deficient.
Seriously, no bias from the media or you and those like you on that score. Don't play all righteous for me. I don't really care. I'm just pointing out some hypocrisy for you but the reaction is to defend oneself and others against the bias charge.
Quote: As Governor, she attempted to get her sisters ex-husband fired after their marriage fell through.
Got any proof or just another accusation? There is proof that said ex-husband of her sister's had threatened their father.
Quote: She wants to be taken seriously as a presidential candidate but goes on TV like she's a political reporter, offering an opinion on things she knows little to nothing about.
Like what? Besides, why isn't she allowed to offer her opinion on anything? And how do you know that she knows nothing about the subject? Is this just pretense on your part?
Quote: She lobbied to go on SNL
So what? Obama did too!
Quote: wrote a book
Obama presumably has written two books (Dreams of My Father, The Audacity of Hope), although questions persist about whether a ghostwriter (the Marxist terrorist turned Marxist professor Bill Ayers) was used for one or both of them.
Quote: If she's an entertainer, have at it but she's just leveraged her moment in the sun in to what amounts to a pop culture career. How she even thinks those decisions will lead to a worthwhile political career is beyond me.
That they are beyond you is of no doubt to me.
Quote: She tries to be "Miss America" but knows little about America's history, as she's proven several times.
So, you're an expert on American history now? I'm not going to tell you that I am or that I haven't made mistakes about American history (I think my grades in school were in the lower 90s), but if I were to say that I know everything about American history would be a lie.
Quote: She's in favor of removing evolutionary teachings in schools and also backs getting rid of sex education programs in favor of abstinence only education.
I don't think you're explaining her policy views correctly, but in any case, your only indicating that you disagree with her views on those policies.
Quote: She bashes an inclusive health care system but admits to taking her children to Canada for medical care.....who wait for it, has socialized healthcare.
Really? Yeah, I believe it. I'm sure she said it...NOT.
Quote: I just never got what the draw was with Palin. She brought little to nothing to the political table.
She was the only candidate with executive branch experience on either ticket running for an executive branch position in government. Even then, she was doing so only as a VP candidate. By the coverage that she received, you'd have thought she was the presidential candidate.
Oh, I know the 'only a heartbeat away from the presidency'. With Biden as the Democrats VP choice, that accusation sounds ludicrous on the face of it. Biden is just one heartbeat away from the presidency! As bad as Obama is, may God help us if that comes to pass!
Quote: But you obviously think so because the image of Bush on Time Magazine cover is an attempt to deaden my criticism. On the contrary, it only enhanced my criticism of Time. In my view, the differences between Bush & Obama are trivial.
Anyone who patrons the political threads on this forum know I feel the same way.
However, J is trying to argue that there is a bias between the two. And there isn't. The side that threw dung on Bush now throw it on Obama, and the folks who excused Bush now excuse Obama.
It's a rigged game.

How consequential to the way the country works is "American Idol"?
Little to none.
How many people watch "American Idol"?
A lot.
Sarah Palin is a simple-minded woman, and she attracts a simple-minded crowd.
Our population is fairly dumb and disoriented on the whole, from the Bible-totin' rednecks to the New Yorker reading New Yorkers.
She's a really good recipe for making a lot of noise.
Quote: Sarah Palin in Arizona with gun laws that allow her to do exactly what this black man did.
Didn't see this video, or it's title, as the device I'm on doesn't load video well, but let me guess --
It's something that has nothing to do with the discussion regarding Sarah Palin's intelligence and capability, and everything to do with some line she parrots about gun control.
My impulse is a video about elections or rallies of the D vote -- a black urban group touting bats or guns. But to be safe, I'll stray from the simple-minded and reach for some scumbag tries some stuff in a bar and gets taken down by a citizen.
I'll check at home tomorrow, and if I didn't call this common-denominator B.S. rhetoric, you can make me change my sig, and I will respond to every post you every make with a 'That's so genius '

Seriously people, How can anyone back this glorified "Hockey Mom" for any political office higher then PTA president??? And yes I know PTA is not part of our government.
The same way anyone can support Obama? Please explain his stellar qualifications as compared to Palin. I'm no Palin fan, but Obama has less experience in government than her IMO. Obama's resume has the high point of "community organizer"
I'm sorry I didnt mention Obama. And do not see how Palin's lack of knowledge of commonly know historic events has anything to do with Obama and his experience,
[quote I'm no Palin fan, but Obama has less experience in government than her IMO. Obama's resume has the high point of "community organizer"
Really??? Cuz I believe Palin quit her job as Gov.to promoter her book tour and Obama has been running the country for the last few years. I forgot about Wasila for Palin. She completed a term as mayor for a po-dunk town on the outskirts of Alaska.
Quote: I'm sorry I didnt mention Obama. And do not see how Palin's lack of knowledge of commonly know historic events has anything to do with Obama and his experience,
At least sh probably knows how any states there are. Again, I don't care for her but she is just as qualified as Obama if you are basing it on political offices.
He was the DNC chair that helped to get Obama elected and gave the Democrats both houses of Congress as well.
As a candidate, he was nuts (we all remember the screamer episode) but as a party tactician, he was stellar for the Democrats. He knows what he's talking about.
The Democrats (and Republicans) will always tell you who they fear the most. They do so by attacking them.

If you're basing it on political offices held, she's eminently MORE qualified than Obama. With the shambles that he is leaving the country in, I don't think it's difficult to say that the man is WAY IN OVER HIS HEAD as president.
What exactly makes her so much more qualified? What experience she does have is marred by questionable finances and actions. All I see is someone who was a mayor of a small town and quit her job as governor to seek fame n fortune. She is nothing more then a good "rah rah" personality for conservatives with no real political experience, on any level.

Mayor: Executive Branch experience
Governor: Executive Branch experience
President: Executive Branch experience
What had Obama had?
Community Organizer: No executive branch experience
State Senator: No executive branch experience
Federal Senator (less than 1 year): No executive branch experience
Yeah, I'd say she had more experience than Obama for the job. In fact, she had more experience than her running mate, John McCain, Joe Biden or Barack Obama.
Furthermore, we've had more than 2 years to see what Obama could do as president. He's an unmitigated disaster!
For all the criticism that Palin receives for 'quitting', she left the State of Alaska in a pretty good way.
At least sh probably knows how any states there are.
Like she knew Africa was a country? Like she read all the newspapers but couldn't name one? Like she has foreign diplomacy experience because she can see Russia? Like she could name another Supreme court decision she disagreed with other than Roe v. Wade? Like she knew North Korea was our ally?
Haha highly debatable. Seriously I hope she does run for president. What's that saying a a laugh a day will keep the doctor away?
On a side note its really kinda stupid to ask why everyone pays attention to Palin back then and now. She was a Vice President candidate who would have been one 73 year old war veteran who was tortured heart beat away from being President. Obama is almost half the age McCain and is physically fit get another comparison. Or are you really trying to tell me a 73 year old War Veteran who was tortured has the same heart attack chance as 49 year old who is physically fit? Now take into consideration it appears she has every intention of running for President, had a reality TV series, and quit her job to do a book tour/get ready for the Presidential election. Seriously, if you can't understand why people are interested in her on both sides then there is nothing that can be said that can help you and your delusional world.
I honestly hope for her and her family's sake she doesn't run for President. She will be made into looking like a simple minded idiot, doesn't need much help, and Obama will win by a landslide.
When it's all said and done, her past record as a government administrator (for better or worse) won't matter nearly as much as the public's perception of her.
Now you can blame "the left-leaning mainstream media" for some of how she's perceived, but the responsibility for much of her hardships must borne by she herself. Since she came on the scene, she's provided ample opportunity for anyone- detractors, proponents, even casual observers to say: "wtf?"
These gaffes impact her credibility as a serious candidate- even if she has 6 degrees, an IQ of 180, and a list of published works that tower above conventional intelligentsia. As it stands, she has none of those things, so the public is left with the things she says to form their opinions of her.
From my hpov, she hasn't helped her case very much since landing on the national radar. For every pithy, skewering (even on-point) statement she's made about her political adversaries, she's made equally goofy and off-putting statements that make her look cartoonish. The balance she's created leaves each of us to "fill in the blanks" about her, based upon our own biases.
That ain't enough for me... and I suspect that it ain't enough for most folk, truth be told. Most considerate people need a bit more than that to fuel their convictions when they pull that vote lever.... as it should be.
In the arena of National Politics, the vast majority of Americans want to see some evidence of competence, poise, command and polish. It may seem by some as superficial window-dressing- and in a certain sense, you may be right- but in the end, folks will cast their votes for the person they think will:
1. Make considered, temperate decisions 2. Exude an air of competence 3. Present to the world an image of America that reflects who we are (at this present time).
Yes- a certain amount of "packaging" is involved... and it requires the co-ordinated efforts of handlers, staff, PR experts, 'spin doctors,'' speech writers, etc... but in the end, the product is only as good as the results it can produce... and seeing that product on the campaign trail is what placed Barack Hussein Obama and [shudder] Joseph Biden in the White House after the last election instead of John McCain and Sarah Palin.
Does anyone seriously think that Sarah Palin has the wherewithal to "pull off an Obama?" .... because that's what it really comes down to in the end. At this point, she's every bit the 'dark horse' he was when he he began his improbable run, just 4 years ago.... so it's up to her (and her alone) to convince us that she's worthy of consideration- above all other contestants.
******
We've had ample opportunity to determine if Sarah Palin is "The Real Deal In American Politics." In the past 3 years, she's had more face time than almost any other political figure. That is ample time to sway opinion in her favor. In my book, she has not accomplished this one most important task. I don't see it in my views of her, I don't see it in national polls, I don't see it in terms of her evolution as a "Major Player," I don't see it in her ability to effect a cultural political shift, and I don't see it in her ability to galvanize a constituent mindset into a viable, nationwide movement.
IMHO, she's a political gadfly... at best, a political sideshow who could damage her chosen party's chances at a real run in 2012... and at worst, a touchstone for society's political fringe-dwellers who are beholden to neither party- and need a voice for their "political axe to grind."
With this many 'Real-World' strikes against her, I can see no scenario where the political staus quo would present her as a serious Presidential candidate. Were she to divorce herself from her current political party and run as an independent, her chances at office plummet precipitously.
Bottom Line: she's too "real," too "raw," too superficial and too flawed to ever be considered as a viable Major Party candidate. Given that, her best bet is to back the party's nominee, hit the trail to drum up her share of support, and "embrace her role" on the national stage. She's incapable of being the Varsity Captain, so she might as well be Head Cheerleader.
Anything for The Cause- right?
Let the flaming begin. I'm a big boy- I can take it.
Lol...I said I didn't care for her and I'm not sure if the rant about McCain was directed at me. Not sure what being "physically fit" has to do with being POTUS. I'll take mentally fit of which there are very few politicians who fit that bill.
I like Ron Paul from a fiscal reponsibility persecutive. I'm not sure where he stand on other issues though.
Quote: When it's all said and done, her past record as a government administrator (for better or worse) won't matter nearly as much as the public's perception of her.
Absolutely true. Perception is reality, especially in politics.

Since she came on the scene, she's provided ample opportunity for anyone- detractors, proponents, even casual observers to say: "wtf?"
She's had some slip-ups, but not more quantitative than Obama or as severe as Obama. Any slip-up she makes is made more intense by a willing media trying to make her look more foolish than she really is. Any slip-up by Obama (and other Democrats) becomes the proverbial 'polished turd'.
I wouldn't mind so much except that when they 'report the news', they're trying to tell the audience that they have no bias. If they just admitted that they had bias, it wouldn't be such a big issue. The Charlie Gibson interview is a typical example. It was edited 6 way to Sunday.

Show me someone with 6 degrees and a 180 IQ? And I have what Obama has said and done to make my opinion of him. Honestly, I expected much worse from Obama than what we've gotten from him. I expected us to be a full Marxist state by now.

And I am just the opposite. The more that I see, the more I like. She has had some missteps (politically) in my view, but nothing devastating. I didn't like her support for a number of candidates but I was able to make sense of why she did it.
Quote: That ain't enough for me... and I suspect that it ain't enough for most folk, truth be told. Most considerate people need a bit more than that to fuel their convictions when they pull that vote lever.... as it should be.
Of course. At this point, if my vote or die and the candidates were Obama & Ralph Nader, my vote would go to Ralph Nader. I agree with the man on virtually nothing, but he's certainly more honorable than Obama.
Quote: In the arena of National Politics, the vast majority of Americans want to see some evidence of competence, poise, command and polish.
Which is why Obama is in trouble. He not competent, doesn't have poise, commands nothing (he doesn't take the blame or anything) and without a teleprompter sounds like a bumbling idiot.

I don't disagree. In that equation for the GOP, McCain was the problem, not Sarah Palin. Remember when they said about Sarah Palin being a 'heartbeat away from the presidency'? The nation has Joe Biden filling that role. Feel better?

Contestants? Seriously?
But, that aside, she's head-and-shoulders above what we have now, in my considered opinion, and that has little to do with her but everything to do with Obama. I week-old ham sandwich is better than what we have now.

Fact is, "anyone" can mess up and make a mistake about "something" and with today's media technology, the world is going see you and hear your "mess up" in a matter of minutes.
I do not condemn anyone for saying something that is not factually accurate or something that just catches the individual off guard at the moment. Sometimes the old computer that sits atop our shoulders, just draws a blank...happens to "everyone".
But when I hear the response, when given an opportunity to give an adult answer, such as just admitting she got her facts wrong at the moment...
...it just leave folks scratching their heads as to what is going on in that brain of hers...imo...

Yep, listen to the words and you miss the meaning of them.
From the Boston Herald. Apparently, understanding tongue-in-cheek delivery of the English language isn't quite your forte.
And folks like you, mac, criticize her for being stupid. She's smarter than you are and proved it.
Please. She said that it was part of his ride that he went around telling the British that they weren't going to take American arms away.
The article, and even Revere's writings, said that he warned the British AFTER he was captured that he had warned the Americans.
I am sure that she didn't mean it the way she said it, but then to come out and claim she is right is laughable.
OK so she didn't break out a perfect doctoral thesis disecting the ride of Paul Revere...
And you know what....there aren't 57 states....and this isn't the year 2008....and Obama wasn't hammered anywhere NEAR as hard as Palin has been for this situation...and she is far closer to being right than he was.....So what is your point????
I thought I was wrong once....but I was mistaken...
What's the use of wearing your lucky rocketship underpants if nobody wants to see them????

For one, I never mentioned Obama. He has said some stupid things too.
But she was wrong about what she said, then when asked about it, she tried to make it out like she is some History scholar and explain it to us, and still got it wrong.
Care to give me your point? People talk all the time about how people can't let Bush go, then bring up Obama every chance they get. They are politicians, they all suck.
I never said you did mention Obama....I did.....and my point is that you and others especially the media seem to mercilessly want to nail people like Palin or Bush to the wall over something that she was more than basically correct on...and completely ignore the gaffes of our current President who was completely and utterly incorrect. And it is my point that I think it UNFAIR that she is being attacked in this manner while gaffes by others are not.
If you would like it even more plainly....I am bringing up the possibility of you and others of being extremely hypocritical....

I wasn't hypocritical. I never even mentioned her or posted in this thread until I saw the video of her claiming to be right when she wasn't.
Palin has a history of making speaking mistakes. That's fine. I honestly wouldn't haved cared one bit fi she hadn't then come out and tried to claim she was right and "educate" people on the history of Paul Revere.
I don't like people who claim to be right when they aren't. Simple as that.
Now if you want to keep trying to single out people who you feel are with the media and on the Palin attack, go right ahead, but you couldn't be more wrong.
We have 9% unemployment, government spending has increased pretty much every year since FDR and the Dollar continues to go down. The Pound is worth .68 more and the Euro is worth .44 more.
I don't care if Obama flubs and says we have 63 states or Palin flubs about Paul Revere, or GWB has a problem pronouncing words. Those aren't issues, the issue is our economy and I don't hear any politician talking about what they plan to do. All I hear is sides pointing out the issues the other side has.
And Palin is a joke, she quit being Gov. of Alaska to make money. She didn't even clean up the problems in Alaska and people actually and her to become President?
Romney is probably the best candidate out there right now but I'm not sure he can win. The Christian right would have a hard time voting for a Mormon, IMO. Not all but a good portion of them would have an issue with that.
Palin is milking this for all she can get, and she's already gotten a lot of money because John McCain picked her to be his running mate.
I don't think we are going to see any progress in fixing our debt issues for at least a few more presidents. Things are going to have to get a lot worse, and I'm talking about food prices sky rocketing, the dollar value going down another 25% and unemployment around 15%.
They will keep spending to prop up the economy until that bubble bursts. Might be 4 years, might be 24, IDK but it will happen in my life time (almost 32).
I, for the life of me, cannot comprehend the obsession with this woman.
I don't see her as politically relevant now that she isn't riding someone else's presidential ticket, yet the media still just loves to use her as a whipping post. Unless their whole point is to keep her in the foreground as an example of "look how dumb the GOP is", I'm shocked that they haven't just let her go the way of Bob Dole, Al Gore or Dan Quayle.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
The liberal media's just hoping they can bolster her support to the point that she can win the nomination, so they can have a field day slamming her at every opportunity. I just hope a legitimate candidate will emerge behind the scenes. Sadly, I don't see that happening. I almost wonder if the GOP is content with Obama winning another 4 years to totally sink the democrats, despite the catastrophic damage it will cause. Politics at it's finest.
As of now, like the last election, I'm voting for Ron Paul.
