Well, if OSU plays like this all season, they're looking at about 7-5.

yep could be a long year...

if we look like this the Big Ten schedule is goign to be brutal... I'm HOPING we were looking ahead to Miami... which is not a good excuse, but wow... I know Toledo is a good Mac team... but wow... we were just ugly today

on a different note - anyone getting the Iowa game?? Wow... what a great back adn forth game!

We got lucky as hell.

You buckeyes are lucky. Why we ran on 3rd and 10 when the pass was working ALL FREAKING drive is beyond me. Getting 5 yards wasn't enough.

Damn! We won't see an opportunity like that for a decade.

Come down off the bridge bud, we have another opportunity on Friday. And next year, and next year... I wanted to beat OSU as much as anybody, but today was a huge step forward for UT. I'm sure that wasn't the best game OSU has ever played, but if it weren't for our penalties and two blown FG chances we'd have probably won by a decent amount. "You know what" happens.

Toledo will probably never have the depth of aÔ OSU from top to bottom - but anyone that can't see the talent level of the starters is narrowing is ignorant.

Proud to have actually been, and always be a ROCKET.

Heck of a win for Auburn. Play of the year so far, IMO.

Miss St just got screwed... the should have given them a TD on a long run with the runner jumping over the line with 14 seconds left.... no review..... then they get stuffed on 1st and 2nd down to end the game... they did review the last play of the game which WASN'T CLOSE... no review on a play that to me was a CLEAR touchdown....

oh well... only reason I'm hot is because I don't like Auburn... they can't keep getting lucky every week...

I knew Toledo would be tough.

Some thoughts:

•Bauserman - I've said enough
•I love the potential of our younger WRs
•Rod Smith needs to hang on to the ball
•Special teams needs to get its - together. Especially our kicker.
•Stoneburner is a mismatch for everyone
•I thought our secondary played ok
•Carlos Hyde has potential, but needs experience.
•Injuries are killing us

i counted at least 4 times that hyde missed wide open holes to run through.

the elephant in the room is the fact that miller will be starting at qb at some point this year, i know we're undefeated and #15 and all that, but this isn't a chip team. guess it just comes down to the fact that fickell is on a 1 year audition. That would have been his job today.

Toledo deserves all the credit in the world. They are an excellent football team. If they don't roll through the MAC, it's their own fault.

2nd game with a new coach and a ton of 1st time starters ...... there are bound to be bumps along the way.

We've traditionally struggled against at least one of the lesser teams we play in the 1st part of seasons. We barely beat Navy a couple of years ago. Then we lost to USC. We also had to go to OT to beat Iowa.

In 2008 we were hardly impressive in beating Ohio 26-14.

I'm not going to worry about 1 game. It was a rough one, but we were missing our starting TB and CB for this game .... as well as the other players who were previously suspended for 5 games. Hopefully we get the 3 suspended players back for next week. Then we have to hang in and keep developing till we get the rest back.

For some reason we do struggle against some teams we should beat. Those games you mentioned and I mentioned the Cincinnati game during the NT year. We struggled against San Diego St. the next year. A few years ago Nuggent hit IIRC a 60yd FG to beat Marshall.

There were times we should have put this game away, the pass to Stoneburner on 3rd down where he had the first and open space but he dropped it would have sealed it. Then the fumble by Rod Smith on another drive. Sloppy ball by the Bucks today. And can Bauserman throw the ball past 2 yards. The play calling was very conservative.

They better get their stuff together by next week or Miami is going to win.

This UGA-South Carolina game is pretty good. 31-28 with 8 left in the 4th. SC kicker just hit a 48 yarder for his first FG at SC. Then UGA just returned the ball to the SC 37.

Just got home from the shoe. What a game. If it wasn't for most of our boneheaded penalties, we probably would've pulled out a win. The place was silent for awhile after the rockets seemed to have momentum in their favor. I'm surprised it took the buckeyes till the 4th quarter to seal down the flat.

Once again, we are decent enough to hang with the big kids. Too bad a "little sister of the poor" wasn't able to pull off the upset.

I do find it funny that some fans are acting like this is a competitive OSU team. Everybody knows it's not, due to everything that has happened. "The Little Sisters of the Poor" should be able to have a chance at beating them this year.....and so far....they can't.

This isn't a bad team. We just have a bad QB and a TON of inexperience.

Our WRs and defense are 4 and 5 star guys but they are young.
