The reply from Joe is "Oh great we overpaid for those bums, didn't bring in enough talent, and our front office and owner suck"

The post he would be replying to is "The Browns just signed Tom Brady, Payton Manning, Adrien Peterson, Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Andre Johnson, Darrelle Revis, Julius Peppers, Demarcus Ware, Chris Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and Clay Matthews to 5 year contracts all for the Vet Min Salary, with no signing bonus"

Thanks for your demonstration of your comprehension abilities. AS far as our front office they are far more qualified then the decade of bafoonery since the return yet this sitting on our hands on a team just starting to compete last year demonstrates I fear there will be NO carry over of that toughness: it left the Building with Ryan/Mangini I fear.
A team so young, so full of holes and a front office content to sit on their hands to save $$$? and then tell a rookie coach with a crappy right side to the oline, the worst set of wrs in the NFL, a one shot running attack, a thin dline filled with kids, a suspect Lber core and secondary razor thin in talent and depth and say go compete with the Ravens and Steelers and you fans get to pay to watch a gladiatorial event as competitive as a Kent state vs Alabama football game.

Wait till next year does not cut it. As the fans howl watching a 3 win season will Holmgren heckert get a year three?

Go root for Buffalo.

Seriously, I have never heard a supposed fan of a team be as negative as you are - constantly.

According to you, this team hasn't made a good move since they came back. You try to come across as all knowing - like you're the gm of some team. In reality, your reality, you hit the nail on the head with Hillis. Ham sandwich you said. That shows exactly what you know...........the nail you hit is the stupid nail.

Go root for Buffalo - I'm sure they'd appreciate a fan like you.

Oh my comperhension abilities are just fine Joe. It's your that are truly lacking. now I can admit that this front office is far superior to the ones we have had since 1999 so at least we can agree on something

Now here is where your mental abilities start to wonder off into lala land. you talk about competeing last year but guess what. We are running a different offense and a different defense this season I'm going to give you a break and assume you forgot about that rather than just assume you think we had the personal to run the new O and D all on our roster already.

Even further proof you don't know what you are talking about is your insistance that we are not signing players because we are cheap. hint, hint, it is called being smart and not using up cap space that we are going to need in 2012 and 2013. Plus you have no clue what the front office still has planned before the season starts. You already admit that our front office is better than it has been yet you go against that statement by claiming you know more about our O-line, WR's, running backs, d-line, lb'ers, and DB's than they do. Sorry to imform you but if you knew more than they did you would have a job in somebody's front office. (Let me know when you land that job bub)

Now wait till next year because you have no choice, but be ready to eat some more crow (you should have aquired a taste for it by now) when the browns win more than 3 games this season.

BTW Do you have ANY clue how high the front office is on some of the young guys on our roster who you are ignoring in your evaluation of our roster?

I think that would only serve to put holes in his theory, so my guess is no.

speaking of la la land i agree we do not agree. thanks for the news flash we changed schemes i must have missed that one. Hoo boy getting no help in the right side of the oline sure sounds like a plan. or no top receivers so defenses do not stuff 9 in the box that sounds like a plan I am not clued into as well.
Or not getting Hillis a running back with some power to help share the running load, maybe hardesty can come through because the free agent was a wash.
Now a team, with so many holes and standing pat in free agency i agree is we are waiting for NEXT year. This year is shaping to be a disaster movie.

Yep I missed on the QUinn for Hillis, how bad EVERYONE saw the kid was gonna be a 1000 yard runner even you i am sure.

It doesn't help when every thread in the Pure Football forum has the SAME rant from him ad infinitum. I swear, he just skips to each thread and copies and pastes the same pablum over and over and over...

Just a little tip, akronjoe...give us a little variety in your negativity and you might quit honking off so many people.

We have not received any help on the right side as far as the RT but just when does the season start, and how do you know the front office is not planning on our rookie tackle taking over that position? and RG will be fine between Lava and Yates.

Like I said there you go thinking all our WR's are bums when the front office thinks otherwise. *Hey is that your phone I hear ringing off the hook with offers from NFL clubs?* Nope didn't think so.

Oh that same free agent who ran for 700 yards last year in less than a full season, can catch the ball, and is good at picking up blitzes from the RB position. You mean THAT free agent RB

There you go again writing them off because they didn't run out in the first few days and grab players you like

Missed..... you talked about Ham sandwiches more than 500 starving people in africa sitting in front of 500 pounds of cooked ham.. While I said I like the trade for Hillis I said we should wait and see in Hillis was going to be good or bad and to trust the front office on the move.

I really hope the Browns make several more moves tomorrow just so this board has something new to talk about.

Amen brother,,,I think

Actually, I'm kinda getting a kick out of GM kicking Joes Butt on here.. It's not that I wanna see Joe get kicked around so much, it's that I don't think I remember GM getting on someones case this strongly..

I'm enjoying it
