This has to be up there with one of the worst losses I have ever seen by the Buckeyes.
Right up there with the Penn State ass kicking we took awhile back.
And I wont mention the second NC game againt that other Florida team.

Bauserman shouldn't take another snap for OSU. I don't care if they lose 4-5 games this year, Miller needs to be starting.

Fickell looks lost on the sidelines.

Fickell just acknowledging that OSU's offense sucks by not calling a TO toward the end.

Tough to blame him, but, if it was me, I'd call those timeouts. Gotta at least try.

You mean to try and tell me, that Mark May, would have a personal bias toward or against a college football team?

Balderdash!

I totally agree . He quit at the end of the third IMHO.
This is going to devastate this team.
I bet the Buckeyes lose 5 more this year. Heck,Minnesota might be better at fighting till the end.
I hope the NCAA and ESPN are finally happy.
Now trash everyone elses program with an even hand please.
And make sure it is over equally petty crap.
Yeah. I guess I am mad.

I really hope Fickell doesn't even consider the thought of starting Bauserman next week.

Well I kinda figured we would be hiring a new coach next year but Ray Finkle just put the nail in his own coffin with this game.

Luke Fickell made it real easy on the University to go out and get their big name. Real, real easy.

It wasn't all coaching, but he did not have his team ready to play today, that was made abundantly clear.

You can't have quarterback play that bad. Good coaches at least get something out of their quarterbacks. The flip-flopping has to go to.

The defense played well, but you can't dig yourself a hole like they did in the first. Giving up that huge play on their first call, and then going down 14-0. Unacceptable.

Luke Fickell is simply not a big time coach, we all had our doubts, but he proved it today. Way out of his league.

Miami isn't the old Miami or the current SEC, there is absolutely no reason to get shut down like that.

I just don't get it. Would the Buckeyes have been able to win this game considering how much time was left and how horrible the QBs were? Probably not.

But my Lord, as the coach, you've at least gotta play like you can do it! It wasn't like it was 100 - 0 and it would have been totally pointless. It was still "possible."

I was on that bus when Miami story broke.
But after they way I have listened to and watched THE Ohio State University take it's lumps that are not even over.
I would not wish that on my worst enemy.
But I sure would like to watch some unamed programs squirm.
And I would do it with some glee.

Fact: Navy had more passing yards than Ohio State.

Georgia Tech had over 600 yards rushing today, and 780 total against Kansas

Oklahoma just came back to go ahead.

Though Landry Jones underthrew the TD pass, so he is obviously the worst QB in the history of the world.

Luck just threw a bad INT at the goal line. Gotta think he'll still be available for our 3rd or 4th round pick.

jc...

I wonder when was the last time OSU didn't score a touchdown in a game.

2008 against Penn State was the last one, it also happened earlier that season against USC. 2001 against UCLA before those two.

I'm just full of good stuff tonight.

We did not complete on pass to a receiver - Not sure that has ever happened before - All 4 of our completions were to running backs

Oklahoma State and Tulsa still has to wait 10 minutes until their game starts.

It will be 1:00 am on the east coast.

But #1 OU beat #5 FSU, so I can go to bed and read about OSU/Tulsa tomorrow.

A lot of lightening in our area has delayed this game.

I'm trying to figure out why everyone seems to be so baffled in this Stanford-Arizona game that a guy whose entire arm was on the ground might be ruled down?

I want to give a shout out to my YSU Penguins.

They moved to 2-1 with a victory opening their Conference schedule today. Our freshman QB, Kurt Hess, now has 11 TDs and only 1 INT for the season. They fought hard in their only loss, which was to 15th ranked Michigan State on their opening weekend.

Looks like there could be something special building in the Ice Castle.

I would guess that we will move into the FCS Top 25 next week.

Exactly.. Just looking at the history of college football you can sit there and say anything is possible. We had them in third down 2 or 3 times with a descent amount of time left. Not only would a time out have stopped the clock and given us more time had we made the stop but it also would have given us time to re-group and make sure we had the right call in. It's not a good message to be sending your team when you quit on them.

I'm not totally sure but I believe we had all of our timeouts, but i'm not sure on that. If we use one of them and get the stop anythings possible. We could run a punt back, they could miss a field goal and we get good field position. If we did generate points out of it we could kick an onside kick.

Although highly unlikely there were plenty of scenarios where we could have won this game and as a coach or a player you just cannot give up until the clock reads 0.00.

On somewhat of a related note. The ACC just easily became the top conference in basketball again.

I forget who the poster was on here who claimed over and over that OSU fans would be upset because Miller was not a good QB.

That was me.

And until mop-up time, he had as many turnovers as he did pass attempts.

1 fumble, 1 INT.

2 pass attempts.
