OSU versus Kentucky for the championship please.

If it's anywhere near as good of a game as last year's, I'm in.

Ross declared eligible

COLUMBUS, Ohio - LaQuinton Ross is a Buckeye - again.

After more than two months of limbo, Ross will be eligible to join the Ohio State basketball team on Dec. 9, the day after fall quarter ends and the day before the Buckeyes play at Kansas. Ross enrolled at Ohio State in June but received word from the NCAA in September that he would not be eligible. The problem arose because of a grade change on Ross' official high school transcript.

Ross had to retake the class and the SAT to reestablish his eligibility.

"I'm feeling great right now," Ross told WJTV in Jackson, Miss. "I'm just ready to get back on the court. I've been missing Columbus."

On his Twitter account Thursday night, Ross posted, "I'm back (Buckeye Nation)!!"

He attended Ohio State's 85-63 victory over Duke on Tuesday night and said it was "weird" to watch from the sideline.

At 6-foot-8, Ross has the unique ability to shoot from long range - something Ohio State dearly misses - and at the basket. A four-star recruit, he chose Ohio State over an assortment of the nation's top teams. Ross is from Jackson, Miss., but spent his junior and senior seasons at Life Center Academy in Burlington, N.J.

During the summer, Ross took part in workouts and developed a bond with his teammates. Many people thought Ross was the best of Matta' heralded in-coming recruiting class.

"The first thing I felt was excitement," Ross said upon receiving the good news. "I'm going back to be a part of something special. We have a national championship team."

Shannon Scott is averaging 11.4 minutes, 2.4 points and 2.2 assists were game, while Sam Thompson has played 9.3 minutes per game and is averaging three points. Both have appeared in all seven games.

Amir Williams and Trey McDonald have played sparingly.

Joe Thomas made Justin Timberlake change his name. He didn't want wusses to have the same initials...

UK has issued 300+ media credentials for tomorrow.

30 NBA GM's or Assistant GM's are scheduled to be in attendence.

The game will feature 14 McDonald's All-American's, 21 Top 100 recruits, and according to Chad Ford 9 NBA first round picks, including 6 lottery picks.

Tomorrow is going to be insane!

Someone on the UNC board said they saw Kentucky was favored by 6.5, but I can't find a line anywhere yet.

That is great news. Just added a 6'8 wingman with a 7'2 wingspan who can nail three's. I think he can be a taller version of jeremy lamb. Unfortunately Sully has back spasms and won't play today.

Top I hope you guys beat the &*^%^ out of UNC.

Back from the game.

•We just couldn't get shots to go down.

•The other team really sucks at offense.

•Amir Williams needs better conditioning but he is a brick wall.

•JD Weatherspoon is fun to watch.

•Just a really boring game.

•Backups played a lot of minutes.

What an awesome time at Rupp on Saturday. It was the loudest I've ever heard Rupp.

North Carolina played about the best they are capable of playing, and we still came away with a win.

I read somewhere that if we had shot the 3 at our season average and North Carolina had shot the 3 at their season average, it would have been an 18 point swing. But, hey, I'll take a 1 point win, when an awful 3 point shooting team goes 11-18 from three.

Guess who has the most efficient defense in college basketball?

Apparently we have played against some awful defenses though.

I think OSU is a nightmare match-up for Kansas. Our guards create a lot of turnovers and Kansas can not hold on to the ball at all.

Kansas is a tough place to play at though.

I think Kansas wins.

For the simple fact that no one is going undefeated, and this is the best chance for Ohio State to lose.

I'm not sure why Kentucky beating an Indiana team that hasn't been relevant for 15 years deserves one of these

I've given Ohio State nothing but praise this year. I think they're gonna lose one game, at one of the most hostile environments to play in and it's an issue? You people are pathetic.

Oh, and for the record, I've said that I think Indiana has a good chance at beating us this year.

It's the biggest game they've played in a decade, they're trying to prove they're "back", it's going to be a crazy environment and it's our first true road game.

The way I see it. We will lose at Wisconsin again and at Michigan

In terms of talent and scheme we are a lot better than Kansas.

I agree.

Which is why I said the whole reason I think Kansas wins is ONLY because this is your best chance to lose.

Wisconsin sucks.

Dude, you take every chance you get to take a backhanded slap at OSU and their fans. And then you can't take a little ribbing.

Pot meet kettle.......

Xavier and Cincy should probably just have their programs shut down for the rest of the year. No need to sucker punch or swing at dudes that are being dragged off the court by their coaches.

What was I thinking predicting an Ohio State loss at one of the toughest places in America to play, knowing that even if Sullinger played (which it was unlikely he would) that he wouldn't be 100%.

I'm just a hater.

Or when your other superstar picks up 2 fouls in the first 8 minutes, then comes in the 2nd half and picks one up in the first 3 minutes, then picks up his 4th with 12 minutes left.

Indiana goes 9-15 from three point range. Most hostile environment you'll see ANYWHERE in college basketball this year. First true road game for a team with 4 freshmen in the top 7 and it takes a miracle 3 at the buzzer to beat us. Consider me not worried. Championships are won in April, not December. Well, except for IU, they just won theirs lol.

Well it does have to be a bit concerning that Jones only took 3 shots in 28 minutes when he's a go-to guy.

Otherwise I agree, KY still should have won if they hit their free throws despite Davis being in foul trouble the 2nd half and Indiana's hot shooting.
