Perhaps I need to give this rushing the court thing up, because apparently every fan base is freaking pathetic and does it.

Buford is 19-of-50 and 2-of-14 on 3-pointers the last four games.

JC:
Conn looked great today with Ryan Boatwright suspended by the team Just In Case (I think the NCAA is still investigating him for taking airline tickets from an AAU coach awhile ago or something) and Jeremy Lamb having a poor night on the floor.
Through the season we should continue to get better. Losing to those New Jersey teams was just a fluke. Our Big East schedule will hopefully prepare us for a good tourney run.
Watch out OSU, Kentucky, UNC, Kansas, Duke. Conn is repeating......... Wooooooo! (Like Rick Flair)
Seriously though, the team is very deep, and we just gotta get consistent. We're still very young, so guys have to step up. But we are deep at every position. Just need some leadership. I'm hoping Shabazz Napier can take over that one. That and Drummond has to stop turning over the basketball with bonehead passes. But yeah, we're very deep.
I expect big things come tourney time. Man I wish we had a better non-conf schedule this year. I blame it all on athletic director Hathaway (who has departed). Thank god that jerk is gone. He's an idiot. When can we schedule a game against Ohio State or Kansas? Where is UNC, Duke, and Kentucky on our schedule? Come on, this is UConn Basketball, not some chump program!

Quick break down of Murray State.
Murray St. is essentially 9 deep. Guard oriented. Isaiah Cannon and Donte Poole are their two best players. Both are great 3 point shooters. Cannon is an All-American. They aren't the biggest team, two guys that are 6'7. Plus they won a game in the tournament last year, so they won't be new to that stage. Aska, Poole and Long are seniors but everyone else could return for them next yeat.

And a great week for UConn Basketball. Florida State beating the snuff outta UNC raised our RPI (because we beat Florida State), and our girls always beat UNC, so it's not that big of a deal.
One thing I love about having a good girls team that generally wins over half the time is that it gives us a shot at winning both titles. It's a fun thing to go for at NCAA time. I think we're the only college that's actually done it

Maryland goes to FSU tonight.. I'm sensing a let down by the Noles. And since UConn and Tennessee win 90% of the womens basketball championships over the last 15 years, it's a safe bet to say that its unlikely that the same school has won mens and womens in the same year, at least not in the modern era.. Maryland won mens in '02 and womens in '06. UNC men won in '93 and women in '94.. that's about all my quick research came up with..

2004. UConn http://uconnmagazine.uconn.edu/smmr2004/smmr04f1.html
And don't mention those stupid Tennessee Lady Vols . I hate that Pat Summit. She's a has been, so is her team.
She went after Geno calling for NCAA violations because he took them to see the ESPN studios in Bristol Connecticut. That he-woman sucks. And I'm sorry she has dementia or whatever, but i've despised her for a VERY long time. Ever since Tenn got that garbage ESPY for best team of the 90's or whatever. Hate that woman

good to see that you have some emotion for the women's game. you should hate her as she was your only real competition for a long time.
now, there's what 5-6 good schools? better than what it was but still I see too many scores at the bottom of the ESPN ticker that show 50pt+ blowouts of 2 top25 teams (like that UConn vs. UNC).
it's like the NBA where you know one of a handful of teams is going to win each year, except there's 300+ teams instead of 30.
