I would assume you put them on the same team.
I have no idea which team the original poster was going to put Rodgers vs Tebow on.

yes, but since Bradford and Tebow have such differing skillsets, which team you put them on will make a world of difference as to which one you might pick.
(unlike Rodgers, who noone in their right mind would pick against regardless of team)

I will say this ..... Tebow has started 11 games over his 1st 2 seasons, and has won 8. That's impressive for any QB.

just to play devil's advocate - well then he needs to beat NE this week to match Orton's 9-3 start to his career

I want to see how big of a homer you are.
If you had to win one game who would you choose:
Tebow or Rodgers?
Of course I'd take Rodgers.
What does that question prove???
I'll tell you how big of a homer I am.
In my keeper FF league, I had Tebow on my roster last year. I had to cut him as he couldn't make my keeper list of 16 players.
Another guy selected him this year, and has tried to trade him to me weekly....well, at least the first 8 weeks of the season.
I drafted Colt way early this year as he was also on my team last year but I couldn't justify keeping him as a keeper.
So I have started Colt about every game we have played.
As FF player, he scores in the mid to high 20's each week in our scoring system.
Colt won't be on my team next year and neither will Tebow because he will make a keeper list.

Colt scores in the 20s in your FF league???
Do you get 5 points for every time he winces at the sight of pressure or something?
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

LOL....maybe......no. It is points for yards, completions, TD's etc....a qb with a hot day can post up 40-50, so 20 something in my league is as bad as 12 in yours.

Well, again, I wasn't asked, but I'll tell you.. given that my choices are Bradford or Tebow.. I'd take Tebow today.. TODAY.

what if the team you were given as the backdrop was GB though? a team with no running game, lots of WRs and an OL that is pass-block oriented.
i'd take Bradford in that case (and I do not like Bradford)
----------------
while a team with a decent running game or a solid run-blocking OL w/ speed WRs (Miami would actually be ideal) would favor Tebow decidedly.

We can "What if" ourselves to death,,, but that's not what was asked.. So I stand by what I said.
Another thing.. Look at St. Louis.. This is not a great team at all.. Yet, they have Sam Bradford at the helm.. If you listened to and believed what some on here spout out, then they should be a contender RIGHT NOW because they have thier franchise QB. Yet, they aren't are they..
To me this demonstrates the felacy of thinking that a Franchise QB fixes all that is broken, As far as I'm concerned, that is what the message some are sending us. It's just not true.
Now look at Denver,, got lots of talent around Tebow and the D is pretty darn good also.. And what are they doing? WINNING.
To many, Tebow isn't all that and a bag of chips, but clearly, on the right team, he wins.
I do think that Bradford will be elite once they put some stuff around him...
I am not however, convinced the same is true with McCoy, But I like the kid as a person, I like his toughness and I like his drive and ambition. Thus I'd like to see more stuff around him before judging him too harshly or quickly.

why do you think that Bradford will be elite but Colt will not be? draft position?
other than that they have had remarkably similar careers so far:
Bradford 2010 16games 60% 18TDs 15INTs 6.0YPA 76.5QBrating 2011 10games 53.5% 6TDs 6INTs 6.1YPA 70.5QBrating
Colt 2010 8games 60.8% 6TDs 9INTs 7.1YPA 74.5QBrating 2011 13games 57.2% 14TDs 11INTs 5.9YPA 74.6QBrating
There's a decent chance both will fail, but I don't see how you would think one is all-world and the other is poor. Bradford has looked terrible this year as has Colt.

I don't give a damn about draft position at all.. Bradford without a doubt has the tools. You saw that in his rookie year. With Colt, we've seen glimses.. That could be because he's got garbage around him,, which is why I say we need more time and better players around him to know.
It's not all about stats man....

Not according to some people.. The team surrounding them has no bearing... it's all on the QB

Bradford didn't exactly have a dream team around him last year either.

No he didn't and yet, he's considered to be good and Colt is a lost cause..
On top of that,, if it's the QB that makes everyone arouind him better,, then why isn't the rest of the Rams Offense better with Bradford.,.
I don't think it was you that said that, but someone on here did and Bradford and the Rams are proof that it's not an accurate statement..

Actually, I have a lot of questions about Bradford, myself.
However, Bradford really doesn't concern me all that much, because he's not on my team.
The Rams do have 14 players on IR, including 3 Wide Receivers. (Amendola, who was Bradford's go to guy last year, Salas, their prized rookie, and Clayton, who has been a steady, if not spectacular WR for the Rams for a number of years) They lost one of their TE, and both their starting Tackles to boot. They've had a lot of issues. Bradford has missed 3 games to injury.
Their defense has also tanked. They gave up 328 points last year, and have already given up 326 this year with 3 games to go.
All of that being said, I wasn't terribly impressed with Bradford last year, and I'm not this year either. However, I can see why he might be having some issues with changing to a downfield passing offense, while missing most of his receivers and both starting Tackles.
Micah 6:8; He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.

so, you are basically citing yourself to prove your point. umm, okay.
there are plenty of analysts on both sides of the fence on both these QBs. the one thing that everyone seems to agree on is that they both are struggling mightily this year.

WHAT?
Look let me make it as clear as I can for you..
I think Bradford can be elite. I say this because last year, he had some receivers that he doesn't have this year (due to injury as Ytown mentioned) and he looked like a rookie but with talent and lots of room to grow. (This year without his receivers, he's not looking as good, which to me proves that those that say a new QB with our current Offensive unit will improve it.. bradford wasn't able to elevate lesser talent)
Colt on the other hand has NEVER really had a group of guys around him to count on. Hillis I guess is about the only one.. But as receivers,, No,, none really.
One thing about Colt McCoy, because he's not had the kinda receivers needed, I feel as if to judge him harshly now is a mistake..
I want him to work out, he's a Brown so hell yeah, I want him to succeed. I just don't think we know what we have yet. So I'm not convinced he can be elite.. Notice, I didn't say for sure that he couldn't either..
Now,, do you understand?

ok, I think Bradford is showing that his early season last year was a bit of a mirage and that Colt basically having the same success with less weapons shows more promise about Colt than Sam.
and, not sure about him not having the same level of WR corps as last year. They had major injuries to their WRs last year (Donnie Avery, Clayton, D.Alexander, etc)
this year Amendola got hurt like Avery did last year (early on), Laurent Robinson left (didn't do much there anyway though), but they picked up Sims-Walker (did nothing) and Brandon Lloyd

Wait a second... so, you're saying that even with a top-flight, highly drafted QB he STILL has to have quality receiving options and can't just make any ole receiver better ??!?!!!???
Poppycock!!
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.
