They might be lying, but they are also right. Ask Yankee fans how A-Rod's contract is looking (he was the same age when he signed his ten year deal as Pujols is now).

The only time you should sign a player to a ten year deal is if they are A-Rod when he signed the contract with Texas and was a 26-year-old, power hitting, gold glove short stop. And even then they overpaid him.

I just find it amusing that they want to compare the situation to Lebron and the Cavs..

Pujols never claimed he was coming back as far as I know, and Cards fans loved him basically until he signed his name on the Angels dotted line...

Then suddenly he was an old player not worth the money...

Fickell.

Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
