CJ Watson has been playing pretty well too though. Not to mention they might have a few other players on this Chicago team.

I don't expect Rose to play and Irving should benefit, but it would still be a big upset to pull this one out.

So true but at least we would have a chance to pull the upset instead a 20pt beat down Im hoping the Cavs come out with some fire this evening. That last game was a total dud.

They are a young team, and they are going to have their ups and downs .... especially when one of the veteran guys is hurt.

I'm pleasantly surprised at how well they've done overall this season... to actually be competitive is a breath of fresh air after last year...

Let's face it though .. last year the front court was decimated.

Z and Shaq were gone ... James left, then Andy got hurt, only playing 31 games ........

It was a recipe for disaster.

same as we started last season though. from now until feb 9th will really show what this team is made of. plus, if we suffer any significant injuries as we have little depth.

I'm already uninterested in this game. I hope they can play a shred of defense and go on a little run.

I *hate* watching teams play actual defense and thinking about how we don't.

This is going to get ugly. There is this thing called rebounding..we have to try it sometime!

i hate this whole team outside of derek rose. Boozer who I would never want on my side in a pressure playoff sitatuion, coach killer rip hamilton, joakim noah, they're just really unlikable. I get that they're a pretty good team, but I still hate them.

problem is, majority of our roster should be playing for the charge and not an nba team...its depressing

This is exactly how the tailspin started last season, too. Started off looking pretty sharp, considering the circumstances, for the first month of the season. Then a drubbing at home and it was all downhill from there.

And somebody PLEASE tell Andy to stop passing the ball to noone.

Byron's rotations tells me that he can sneak in a few extra L's at the end of the year. It's kinda like tanking except you are making it look unforced.

I think tanking might be the way to go anymore in the NBA.

well scratch my wont get blown out by 20+ lol

Im still not in the tank thought process yet, after all we got the 1st pick from the last lottery team and the 4th pick from being the worst.
So do what you can get the wins you can and let the draft fall the way it will.

After back to back beatings, I don't think that the Cavaliers could have anything to say about anyone ........

What another ugly night.

this team is so void of talent, i believe Irving might be the only nba quality starter..the rest are bench/role players...I'm beginning to not like scott's schemes and style..defense is pathetic, and for a self-proclaimed PG/offensive guru, i don't like the flow, too many turnovers and not enough assists, i believe the assists will come up once there is actually nba players on the court. I can't even imagine what miami is gonig to do to us Tues. If i'm Grant, parker/jamison/AV are all gone. As bad as we are on D and especially with dribble penetration and rebounding, the fact that erden is getting minutes over samuels is appalling. Its obvious we have alot of holes, trade the old guys for picks/developing talent. and reload again in draft and FA. I can only imagine what this team would have been like had we had irving/thompson in the lebron days

I would expect Dantonio to be fired in the not to distant future. Everyone seems to think Phil Jackson will come and coach the knicks. He's probably the only coach that could make melo and amare play good together. That's just a total disaster, having them on the same team. Both of them need the ball. plus when they traded for melo, they traded their point guard in raymond felton. I always felt the nuggets got the better end of that deal. They're 12-5, Galinari is playing great, and Wilson Chandler may come back when is contract is up overseas.

We lost 26 games in a row last year.

Based on the percentages of 66 games versus 82...

We've got about 18.92 more games to lose until the streak is over...

I disagree about Amare needing the ball. He has always played off the ball and even most of his post moves are best when he is moving into them before he gets the ball.

His problem is that he got spoiled having a great PG setting him up early in his career. Now, he needs to be setup. It's actually a good problem to have as a second star if the first one is good at setting others up. But, Melo generally doesn't do that and Shumpert isn't that style either. Even an Andre Miller type PG would do wonders for Amare.

37-37 at the half at Miami. Seems like a sloppy game thus far.

At least James doesn't have the pressure of having to perform before a packed house every night anymore.

What's got into Samuels tonight?

Man, he finally got himself unnailed from the bench and goes off big time tonight.

actually samuels has done that just about every game he's played, thats one of the things that irks me about scott, that he plays erden/hollis over samuels,

Cavs should be up by about 10 right now. They're shutting Miami down on the defensive end, but they can't score to save their lives. At one point they stopped 7 straight Heat possessions, and decreased their defecit by only 2 points.

This game has been so frustrating to watch. Cavs have played so well on the defensive end, which they hardly ever do, and they've bumbled it away with their lack of scoring ability.
