Kheeston Randall is my hope for the Browns pick at 139, He's big, he's a pass rusher, ... The Browns have to find roster competion for Brian Sanford, and Scott Paxon, and I think this guy can push them. He was higher rated in January and he hasn't shown any reason to fall. At 6-5 293, he can fit the mold of the CJ Mosley type. There is a purpose for the player that is in between the big nose tackle and the smaller Jabal Sheard outside lighter weight players. At 6-5 293, he can play 15 lbs heavier or lighter. A 5th round player who can really pan out, I hope the Browns find him and take him. He's not slow.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

THROW LONG, I think you are right that the 5th round could be a good value range for the Browns to pick up a rotational DT. In addition to Kheeston Randall, there could be:
Jaye Howard -- talented guy who showed up at the Senior Bowl urbrowns' draftee Derek Wolfe -- Kiper just highlighted him a couple days ago as a very underrated guy Marcus Fortson -- looked awesome at the combine in drills... he's a guy that needs his head on straight but is extremely talented.

I like McNutt as a huge value there.
He's the kind of guy the Steelers will have emerge as a star in short order. He's big, quick (though doesn't have great top end speed) runs solid routes, can jump, is smart, and has really good hands.
He's a guy I hope the Browns target.

funny you should mention the Browns and McNutt... because they're up now! DMIC gets three hours, but in case he isn't here for the pick (hasn't made any posts in 10 days), here's what he's drafted for us so far:
4. Cleveland -DawgmaninCharlotte RB Trent Richardson ALA 22. Cleveland -DawgmaninCHARLOTTE - Reuben Randle WR LSU 37. Cleveland - DawgmaninCHARLOTTE - Kevin Zeitler, OG, Wisconsin 67. Browns - DawgmaninCHARLOTTE - Brandon Mosley, OT Auburn 100 Cleveland - DMIC-Omar Bolden,CB, Arizona st. 118 Cleveland (f/ DEN) - DMIC - Travis Lewis, OLB Oklahoma 139 Cleveland - DMIC Nick Jean-Baptiste, DT Baylor
DE? FS? WR? QB?

I have no idea what he would do. I dislike his draft so far, outside of the 1st pick. I only see Richardson as being likely or capable of being an immediate help to the team. (Zeitler might be able to start day 1, but I don't know that Guard is one of our biggest needs)

I don't want to offend you..... but now I really, truly hate your draft. Moore is an UDFA, not a 5th round pick. We're going from a 6'1" QB to a 6' flat QB? Ugh. I would vomit if this were to take place, then I would drive to Berea and vomit on Heckert's desk.

I don't generally know enough about college players overall to make educated picks ..... but I do know enough to know that a 6' 197# QB is not a 5th round pick. He'll be an UDFA, or maybe a compensatory 7th round pick at best. I know certain players in the middle, guys like McNutt, who I hope the Browns will target ...... but not all of them overall beyond scouting reports. There cannot be as big a dropoff in talent from Mcnutt to Moore in just a few picks.

So we already have Colt McCoy, so you wanna draft a guy with a WORSE arm who's SHORTER...
I assume it's because he "just wins games!"
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

Kendall has till 4:37 eastern for his pick. Here's who he's drafted so far:
29. Baltimore - Kendall if not taken - Mark Barron SS Alabama 60. Baltimore - Kendall - Juron Criner, WR, Arizona 91. Ravens - Kendall - Desmond Wynn, OG Rutgers 130 Baltimore (comp) - Kendall Storm Vontaze Burfict ILB Az. St.
Looks like KS has targeted their positional needs pretty acutely.
I'll leave the internet-stated remaining needs off unless KS's time expires.

Oakland's picks to this point:
95. Raiders (comp) - {needs GM} Billy Wynn, DE Boise St 129 Oakland (comp) - {the mob} Dequan Menzie, CB Alabama 148 Oakland - {the mob} - Bernard Pierce, RB Temple
Here are the top 12 players available according to CBS:
Bryan Anger P 1 California Trevor Guyton DE 12 California *Jonathan Massaquoi OLB 15 Troy Joe Adams WR 17 Arkansas Jack Crawford DE 13 Penn State T.Y. Hilton WR 18 Florida International Deangelo Peterson TE 7 LSU Shaun Prater CB 20 Iowa Ryan Steed CB 21 Furman Brett Roy DT 15 Nevada Tauren Poole RB 15 Tennessee B.J. Coleman QB 9 Chattanooga
I can't in good conscience give Oakland a punter with their 4th pick and having Lechler on the roster. We've already drafted them a DE, a CB, and a RB... and they've got a lot of WRs. They've already used 3 of their picks in this draft on QBs: (1st Palmer, 2nd Seymour, 3rd Pryor, 4th Campbell.) Out of this list I would suggest TE Peterson or DT Roy, or even Massaqoui as an oversized LB. What do you guys think?
Anybody else?

The Raiders need defense, defense, and more defense. Their defense sucks. They had a top 10 offense last year, even with changing QBs, and still went 8-8. If I'm the Raiders, my whole draft goes to the defensive side of the ball.

Good call. CBS says they're switching to a 3-4, so Massaquoi seems to be a natural fit here. Anybody else?

I like the idea of Massaquoi being the guy people think looks like a DE but plays OLB (like Wimbley who he would be potentially replacing)

OK, based on the previous list, I'm giving Baltimore Compton, OT SD.
clwb will go on the clock at 9 tomorrow. Of course clwb can pick at any time. Kendall, if you log on before clwb picks, feel free to change the pick.

With the 171st pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select...
Wide Receiver, T.Y. Hilton, Florida International
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
