The more and more I watch the more I realize that scott will never be a good coach, I don't care about his track record with PG's, Thats BS, working with 2 HOF PGs will make any coach look like he knows what he is doing..this team has Sooo many issues with fundamentals its not even funny. Talent or not, they should atleast look like they've been coached to do certain things and I don't see it. He gets a bye this year because of the situation, but I'm not so sure more talent will help him...theres a reason he has a 40% win record with some pretty decent teams..no D and a very average offense. Atleast we know we arent going to go out of our way to win anytime soon. Thats a positive this year. Andy/Kyrie.....thats it...send the rest away. The sooner jamison is gone the better..this guy is so inconsistent. he has a place, but its a rotation guy, not getting his minutes/money.

Your abject hatred of Byron Scott is almost as funny as your complaining about the salary of a guy who's under contract for another week and a half.

I'm not a huge fan of the "defense" this team plays, but Scott's taken a team to the NBA Finals twice, which is two more times than most coaches in the league have done.

I have given up on the tank philosophy.

I think that our best bet is to hope for the luck of the hopper like we've had twice now when we got Lebron and then Irving. 3rd time is the charm, and maybe we'll get that lucky bounce again.

I think you just get the highest you can assuming 1 or 2 teams will jump you...

I want Davis, MKG, or Beal. That's my whole list.

I'd be okay with J.Lamb or Barnes, but disappointed we missed out on the other guys.

That's why getting into the top 3 is so important.

The drop off after the top 3 is significant.

Davis, MKG, Beal will go 1,2,3.

Lamb/Barnes are decent players, but they're not on the level of those top 3.

I think that there are a ton of players who can definitely help a team win, even deep into the 1st round. I have this feeling, and hope that the Cavaliers will work on trying to get a 3rd 1st round pick just because there is so much quality depth.

There may only be a few "great" players, but this draft has a ton of really, really good players. I would love to get a great player, and a pair of really, really good players.

Jeremy Lamb will be a great player IMO

I know you've been big on Lamb, but I just don't see it.

A good player, but not the caliber of MKG, Davis, Beal, IMO.

Ideal draft would to obviously be win the #1 pick and go...

1. Davis (I'd strongly consider MKG though)
26. Arnette Moultire
33. Doron Lamb
35. Darius Miller

Lamb at 33, I think Doron Lamb is SEVERELY underrated. I watched him improve 100% over the last two years. He's 6'4, can run the point if needed, shoots lights out from 3 point range (UK's all time leader in 3 point %), this year he showed a midrange game, he gets to the basket, etc.

For as big as you are on Jeremy Lamb, I think DORON Lamb is going to be a star.

well, sure that looks nice because Moultrie is a lottery pick and likely to go top10 IMO.

D.Lamb is also a 1st round prospect on most mocks I have seen (and for good reason).

J.Lamb is "going" to be great. The problem is he will likely underwhelm at first because he doesn't have a NBA-ready body and will take a couple years of pounding. He'll show flashes during that time, but I don't see how he can defend the stronger SGs until he gets a couple offseasons of work in.

I just want to see the Cavs get the #1 pick again...

He probably wasn't going to be more than a backup, and he may even have had a hard time making the team next year, but why toss away a guy who has shown the ability to score when he gets minutes?

Weird. Maybe we are in full out tank mode. Bet Manny Harris gets the minutes now?

Hudson, whose second 10-day contract expired on Wednesday, likely is heading to another team, although it was not clear yet where. His agent, Tyler Glass, said he had been pressing the Cavs to sign Hudson for the rest of the season before his second 10-day contract ran out.

The Cavs were interested, but on their timetable, and the two sides were unable to reach agreement on Thursday.

Hudson joined the Cavs from the Austin Toros in the NBA DLeague on March 30 after Daniel Gibson was lost for the season with a torn tendon in his left foot. It didn't take him long to make an impression. Afer scoring 12 and 9 points in his first two games, respectively, he had 23 at Toronto on April 6, 26 at New Jersey on April 8, 25 against Charlotte on April 10 and 19 against Indianapolis on April 11. After the New Jersey game, Cavs owner Dan Gilbert tweeted about "Les-anity,'' referring to the "Lin-sanity'' that gripped New York after Jeremy Lin burst onto the scene.

But his minutes and his production tailed off a bit the last five games, and he averaged nine points per game during that stretch. In all, he averaged 12.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 39 percent from the field and 25 percent from 3-point range in 13 games with Cleveland.
