We just need to send Nick Gilbert to all of our events forever. That kid brings some good luck.

Just to add to the legend, the Cavs also won the flip for the #24 pick (LAL).

So that brings Nick's record to (3-0).

Yes....Nick won both flips today. Cavs have the 3rd most chances!! We are no worse than 6! He also won the Laker pick flip so we get #24 instead of #25. GO NICK!

please sing the praises of MKG and Anthony Davis. 2 guys a month ago I never thought the Cavs had a chance of drafting.

Nick is the man!

How many charges of "The draft is fixed!" will we see if the Cavaliers win it again this year?

I am one who NEVER has good premonitions when it comes to C-Town sports, but I REALLY feel it. I think Cavs get #1 again. If that happens, we are on our way!!

web page

"CLEVELAND — Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert Tweeted this afternoon that he sent his son, Nick, to New York to take part in a coin flip to determine the odds for the upcoming NBA Draft.

Nick and the Cavaliers won the coin flip and the team now hold the third most ping pong balls, with a 13.8% chance at the number 1 overall pick. There is a 42.4% chance that the Cavaliers will pick in the top three and they can pick no worse than sixth based on league rules."

Nick should be calling in plays for Pat Shurmur. Kid can do no wrong.

I hope 'Melo goes OFF tomorrow...

Chandler clogs the middle...

Amare gets a few dunks...

Knicks winning game 1 would be HUGE...

....And I hate the Knicks...

Knicks will be swept. Bank on it.

Carmello will shut it down by the end of game two.

Unfortunately I just get the sense that this is the year that everything goes right for Miami (in the post season).

I think LeBron is primed for an absolutely monster playoffs.

Can't believe Chandler gets the flu before game 1.

I still like OKC. Their big 3 is almost equal to Miamis in talent. They also have MUCH better role players. If Westbrook plays his best they will win.

Can someone please clear something up?

Was Derrick Rose on the cover of Madden 12? My goodness, he was a gametime decision today, plays well, Bulls winning by 12 with 1:20 left and he cranks his knee driving to the basket. On his way to get an MRI.

Seriously, he's hurt every part of his body this year. He only played 39 of 66.

Meh....the Knicks stinks. The Cavs beat them by 8 week ago. And we were trying to lose and they were trying to win.

Miami getting to the finals has been a done deal for a while. The only team with half a chance is Boston, which will be competing on all heart and pride. Chicago hasn't changed since last year.

Rose tore his ACL.

Obviously out for the Olympics as well. Bulls will beat the 76ers, but won't get much farther than that.

Thibs is a idiot. Up 12 with less than 1:30 to go. Learn when to call the dogs off next time especially your lone superstar who has been hurt all year.

I agree that Rose should have been out of the game. But Thibs reasoning was that they didn't want the 76ers to have any confidence going into game two.

I'm beginning to think LeBron is not human. He had his best season when the games were supposed to be toughest (shortened season).

ok, what injuries can still happen to make Miami's road to the Finals any easier?

Ray Allen already injured, so let's make sure Rondo misses a couple games - check
Bulls haven't figured out how to play as a full team yet, so let's just kick Rose to the curb - check
Magic can't match up athletically anyway, so let's take away one of the best athletes in Dwight - check
Hawks missing Horford - check (hmm, seems a bit light, watch for an injury to JoeJ here)
Knicks have no shot against Heat, so let's give Chandler the flu to make sure - check

Ugh!

Amarie Stoudamire cut his hand punching the glass that surrounds a fire extinguisher. Left the ( center) with his hand heavily bandaged and his arm in a sling. He is expected to miss game 3.

I blame Hollywood. ( those bad names)

One more time, Despite what you see on TV, despite what you see in every movie, all your life. When you punch a window, when you punch through a glass object, you will significantly cut your hand.

Take a 1/4 second to punch something else. Wrap your hand or use a tool to punch the glass instead.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

I like Dallas players a lot. I'm glad they got their rings already so it makes me feel less bad to see them lose. It's Oklahoma City time now.

If the Dallas crowd can get hot like they were last year I can see this going 6, maaaybe 7 games, but I think OKC is just too young and too talented for them...

Had they not given up Tyson Chandler for the slim idea of MAYBE POSSIBLY SOMEHOW getting Deron Williams (and Dwight, ha) then I think they'd be at least the 3 seed in the west...

I think the only Heat killers left are OKC and San Antonio...

...And LeBron of course...

honestly, it killed this year, but I think it was smart to give up Chandler. they would have locked themselves into him long-term and killed any chance of getting a better, younger star to pair with their aging cast.

we'll see if it pays off or not, but I don't blame them (and having that ring I am sure helped make it an easier choice)

Shumpert, Lin, Amare - out for the Knicks
Rose - out for the Bulls
Horford - out for the Hawks
Rondo and Ray Allen - out for the Celtics (both will be back at some point)
Dwight Howard - out for the Magic

if the Pacers were a better team, then you'd have to root for them, but I just don't think they can score against the Heat. so yeah, it just leaves the West.
