He's essentially MJD with elite speed. I think he'll be fine.

They're showing Luck on the phone ........

I thought that they weren't going to do that this year?

I'll be honest. I laughed so hard when I heard the Browns traded up.

Just shows you how clueless Brown is.

At his pro day he ran a 4.47. That is great speed for a power runner.

And it was what? 6 weeks after his knee surgery?

It was reported that he wasn't completely healthy. I just watched his highlights and you can see him running away from the DBs

4.26 is elite speed. LB's and DE's run pretty close to 4.58

Go find the # of RB's who, at 230 LBS, ran a 4.47 40 AND had the college production Richardson did.

If you don't want to be happy, more power to you but the guy ran a 4.47 what was it, 6 weeks after knee surgery?

His speed is not a concern.

I didn't want Hillis to leave but the Browns made a decision and Peyton was gone....so we had a hole to fill.

Somebody called into the Triv show tonight (I was actually waiting for him to talk to Bernie) and said the same thing about why do you have to fill the hole now that the Browns made with Hillis; and Triv said that there was no way that the Browns were going to keep Peyton. He has a mental mess. That was his opinion/insight.

I'm with you...not necessarily on Glenn, but with a RT in general. Call me old-school in my thinking but we're building the right way...finally...from the inside-out. Time to fix the line, and we can maybe do that with the best RT in the draft, whomever that may be.

Exactly he ran away from Morris Claiborne in the NT game. He's fast enough.

As expected, Luck and Griffin III go 1 and 2.

Let's go Richardson to the Browns!!!

Welcome aboard Trent!

Now let's find a WR and a QB and I'll be a happy camper.

For once I feel we got an elite player at the top of the draft. A RT would be my next pick, unless Floyd is there at #22.

If Hardesty pans out after having time to heal, the one two punch could be great. Having TR and Brandon Jackson as the third down back looks like a pretty good backfield.

I'm pulling for a RT next as well, but that would the WR I'd pass the top RT for.

I honestly don't think that we'll go RT until the 3rd, at the earliest.

I think that we go WR at 22, and then go QB after that.

I really feel that if they add a good RT and have Richardson in the backfield they could change the offense for the good quickly. Floyd, though, is a big strong guy who is fast. He and Richardson would be a big upgrade, then take that RT at #37

I'm with you. We need to upgrade our offense. WR needs to be a top pick, although RT is important as well. I trust MH and TH have done their homework and planned their draft/picks around taking TR with their first pick.

As much as posters hate to admit it, TH and MH know where we lack just as the "knowleadgable" posters do lol.

I don't think we can get Floyd at 22, but Hill and Wright should be there. Bobby Massie at 37.

I really hope we don't pick Weeden unless he falls to the third round.

I can make a better case for the RT next over the WR.

We aren't putting weapons around McCoy for his sake, we're rebuilding the offense. If we're going to build around a player, that player is Richardson, not McCoy, and if you wanna protect your #4 selection, you put an offensive line in front of him...
