Yes!

We now have a starting RB and an actual starting QB.

I am a happy camper right now. We got a LOT better today.

I bet we trade back into the 1st for a WR too.

with all of the offensive lineman and pass rushers out there and we do this.
We could have moved down 10+ spots and still picked him

who the hell was going take the old man? Everyone that wanted a QB already got one. Way to screw a pooch Heckert. Reiff on the board and we waste a 1st rounder......when they get canned they earned it.

Only we might have to wait a year to see how he pans out.,,I might have to stop thinking bad about Heckert.

Awful pick. As good as the first pick was, #22 was a waste.

The only way this remotely makes sense is if the Browns trade back in the next 3-4 picks and take Reiff.

If not, it just seems silly.

Need a RT badly and he fell right in to their lap at #22. Ugh.

Can some of you explain to me why you are so upset with this pick? Colt is a gamer but he just doesn't have the physical tools to be a starting NFL QB. Much less a starting NFL QB on a team with no WR's...

We're in desperate need of a RT.... the second best OT falls to you at 22... you pick a guy who you could have gotten at 37.... that's why we're mad.

We aren't going OT early.

We have 2 first rounders on the OL right now. We aren't adding a 3rd when we need weapons.

I bet that we go WR with our next pick.

I will be seriously pissed if they talk about an open QB competition. You don't draft a 29 year old qb to compete for the job. And if he doesn't pan out, Heckert and company will be fired just like Savage was for picking Quinn at the same spot.

Because regardless of how we may or may not feel about McCoy, it's what we may or may not feel about Weeden which drives the disbelief...

The Browns never cease to ruin draft day for me.

They always do something that makes absolutely no sense.

Having Colt McCoy as your starting QB is a sure fire ticket to "former GM" status.

We tried to get one of the elite guys ...... and we got Weeden late in the draft. He can help sooner than Tannehill, and he didn't cost us a super high pick.

I don't know why anyone is surprised by this. This was telegraphed all along.

You have to call it a competition. Why? Because there's a very real chance Weeden isn't close to being eady to running an NFL offense. If he's not, and McCoy looks better, you have to start McCoy. If you hand the job to Weeden and he blows it, he's nearly finished as a Brown.

I consider #22 to being very close to a "super high pick" especially when it's for a 29-year old rookie...

And in 1 year we will be saying about Weeden, "He's 30 years old, he's only got another 3-4 years of football left in him."

That's why you CANNOT draft a 29 year old qb and hope to 'develop him'.

At least he hasn't had a lot of wear on his body.
