Cordy Glenn, Reuben Randle, Stephen Hill, Jonathan Martin, Mike Adams, Janoris Jenkins, Courtney Upshaw, Coby Fleener.

Lots of good options there.

I would love to get Fleener in the 2nd. That would be a real coup.

well, let's do the math... St. Louis's biggest need now is a WR. Stephen Hill.

Indy needs skill position players. Team Luck up with his college target Fleener.

Baltimore's biggest need is an OG to replace Grubbs. There's Glenn.

Denver will probably take a DT in Still or Worthy, so that shouldn't affect us. They could take a WR Jeffrey, but I don't thik they will.

If those first three picks go like that, I'd prefer we just try to trade down. If we can't, I guess we're stuck with either Jeffrey or J. Martin.

Or Randle, who I like much more than Jeffery.

Glenn, Martin, Hill, Randle Top 4 that we need ... hope to get 1!

Randle isn't slow. Not only that, but you don't like Randle but like Jeffery? Yet...you think Randle is slow?

I think our 2nd round pick will be OT Bobby Massie from Ole Miss.

Jonathon Martin, Cordy Glenn, Alshon Jeffery, Greg Childs, Stepehn Hill, Mohamed Sanu and then there is Janoris Jenkins. I would not be surprised if the pick ends up being Jenkins. Vinny Curry is still available as well.

If Heck is worth his salt he'll manuever us so we feed at this trough twice!

1. OT Cordy Glenn, Georgia: Four-year SEC starter dominated early in career at guard before switching outside to tackle as senior

2. DE Courtney Upshaw, Alabama: DE/LB tweener with only average size (6-2, 272) and speed (4.76) but smart, decisive angles, and very tough

3. OT Jonathan Martin, Stanford: Athletic, intelligent with good size (6-5, 312), but too finesse & lacks brute strength (20 reps of 225 lbs)

4. TE Coby Fleener, Stanford: King-sized target with an impressive speed/strength combo (4.51, 27 reps); led Stanford w/10 touchdown grabs

5. DT Jerel Worthy, Michigan State: Short and squatty, but explosive; ability to split gaps will intrigue 3-4 and 4-3 teams

6. DT Devon Still, Penn State: Stout, wide frame (6-5,303) with impressive quickness and mobility, but streaky motor and passion; 17.0 tackles for loss in 2011

7. DE Andre Branch, Clemson: Lanky pass rusher with excellent lateral agility & straight-line speed; should excel as a 3-4 rush LB

15. OT Bobby Massie, Mississippi: Not yet sum of parts, but 3-year starting right tackle has excellent size, strength and athleticism to play early

16. G Amini Silatolu, Midwestern State: Small-school left tackle with nasty, tough demeanor & power but streaky technique

17. OLB Zach Brown, North Carolina: Athletic phenom best suited to WLB position in 4-3, where speed, agility suited to a chase LB in NFL

18. RB Lamar Miller, Miami (Fla.): Smooth, one-cut runner with exceptional speed/burst, some durability concerns - poor man's Jamal Charles

19. OLB Lavonte David, Nebraska: Tackling machine (285 career tackles) w/athleticism, football IQ and finishing ability but a tick undersized (6-1, 233)

20. TE Dwayne Allen, Clemson: Not physical mismatch en vogue, but soft hands, route-running, blocking ability equals the top traditional TE

Here are my official tiers for day 2:

Want: Upshaw, J.Martin, Curry, Sanu

Ok: Schwartz, Fleming, Jeffery, Wagner, T.Crawford, Boykin, M.Jones, J.Robinson, Osemele, Fleener

Torn/meh: Z.Brown, Randle, Hill, Glenn, L.David, Silatolu, T.Johnson, Kendricks, R.Lewis, Givens, any DT

Avoid: J.Jenkins, Adams, Branch, Massie, Quick

Some of those guys move up a tier based on where we pick them between 33-95...as long as we keep selecting from my top 2 tiers, we're doing a good job ...but I expect at least 1 being from the 3rd tier...it's just Heckert's shoot for moon upside approach, so I suspect we will land at least 1 boom or bust guy somewhere on day 2, like he did last draft with the Little selection...Hill, Randle, Adams, Glenn fit the bill

I think it cmes down to WR or RT

SO I look at it like this.

The Browns are high on Carlton Mitchell, they like GLittle,Norwood. Not sure on Mo Mass.

So, do we have anybody on the squad for RT they may like? Pinkston is not going to RT, they like him as a G and all his training in off season has been to get bigger and stronger to be effective at G.

So with that thinking I say we go RT at #37. I would be happy with Jonathan Martin or Cordy Glenn. If we wait till the third I would hope Mike Adams falls to us.

If we go WR I would say Hill is gone before us so that leaves Jefferies or Randle, if we wait till the third I am not sure who may still be there. Devier Posey? May be a reach, Posey migh be a 4th rdr.

Do you really think they're high on Mitchell? He sure hasn't played all that much for a guy they're high on.

Big, physical receiver at the point of attack....he will create seperation.....and I watched him out run florida defensive backs in 3 games last year.....his speed is fine.....

I think that we're gonna go Fleener.

That's what my gut is telling me .... though that could be the meatball pizza I had yesterday combined with the pain medication.

I just dont see us going TE.

Watson will be back, Evan Moore, Cameron showed some promise, and Alex Smith is our blocking TE and goal line FB

Watson had 3 concussions last year. Moore is not really a TE, but a receiver specialist, and they had trouble finding time for him to play. Smith is a nice backup/spot starter, but not a special player by any stretch. Cameron didn't show anything last year at all.

If we can grab a guy like Fleener, and he turns into a weapon like Gronkowski did for the Pats ...... or maybe even only 2/3 of a Gronkowski ..... then he'd be a steal.

Sometimes, upgrading a solid spot is the way to go. Plus, maybe then we could trade a guy for OL help.

there will likely be trades, so this is pointless, but here is how I think it plays out if the teams stay where they are at now:



Rams - Rueben Randle (I think it's a mistake, but I think he's who they want if they stay)
Colts - Coby Fleener (TE is a need and Luck's on board with this pick)
Ravens - Cordy Glenn (sigh, he can play OG which is what they need him to do)
Broncos - Courtney Upshaw (could be WR but I think they do that later)
Browns - Jonathan Martin (plenty of WRs for late 2nd when we trade back up IMO. Martin is the last in the 1st round tier OTs IMO. I like Osemele who may be there in the 3rd, but I think we play this one safe).

Damn after what I just heard from Lecharles Bentley about Martin now I am not to sure aout Martin. Think maybe Massie is the better option.

Rams are about to completely rebuild lol. They have picks have picks #33, #39 and #45 and man I am so jealous.

With what's left at WR I could see that scenario happen JJ has the highest grade left on the (my) board.

As far as Fleener ... I see him coming off the board at 33 or 34.

Sure seems like they outsmarted themselves. Dropped to #6 and then watched their three guys go #3, #4 and #5.
