I think that I would have wanted more than just 120 to drop that far.

That's just me though.

There are so many WRs that are on the same level I'm fine with the trade back.... if Randle was there we wouldn't have done the trade...as soon as he was gone we made the trade..... we'll still get a good WR and picked up an extra 4th

I'm ok with it. We get back in the 4th, just about where we were before the MN trade. WR heavy draft

Agreed, not very close on the draft value chart.

255 vs 209

Hopefully we got a 2013 selection.

Sanu, Toon, McNutt, Streeter, Criner, or Childs all of them are 6'2" or taller. Hope we get one of them. How about Eric Page, or do we already have him on our roster with Norwood?

I don't mind it because all of these WRs now are developmental type guys who won't contribute much anyway. We have a ton of needs, and now we have another pick in the top 120....I like it.

And I bet we'd be laughed at for it. There are probably 7 or 8 WRs that should go before him. He'll be available in 4 for sure, maybe even 5.

I stand corrected

Well those Wrs are leaving the board right now. I do not think we have the luxury to move down and not take talent in the upper third round.

I would have been ticked if a David or Randle would have been on the board, but I don't see much difference in these players at this point. To me we just got a free 4th rounder and still get a comparable player to what we would have had.

SO we move 20 spots down to get a pick at a spot that we gave away??...Oops, I mean traded away. I think when you move that far down, the quality of player you get drops, when you go that far down. And since we NEED talent that can contribute ASAP, I question that move.

I was wondering the same thing - maybe they found something concerning on his physical or something.

I remember reading somewhere that he couldn't play but that Bentley whipped him into workout/combine shape....maybe that's why he rose so much on the draft sites but dropping in real life?

That's my point. If a 2nd round talent like David/Randle had of fallen I wouldn't have done it, but at this point the level of talent between these players begin to narrow.....get another 4th rounder and have another shot at getting a contributor
