I'm with ya, Judith isnt dead, The young blond girl who took care of her and was worthless in the fighting, never got on the bus, it's her blood we saw, she got shot in the arm or something and went back after her she's got her.
Those young girls with the hand gun who shot the lady between the eyes was unexpected but came in handy.....
Lastly...Glad Govenor is gone good charactor but went on too long, only so many times a person can go crazy....Nice way to go...
Hersal.....That stunk, good man....wont be long and all the elder people who remember good times and when man were nice to each other will be gone, humanity is dieing out.
Yelled at the TV last night, sorry if Daryl goes I'm never watching again...LOL...

I think Judith is still alive. Who has her? who knows... If you looked at the car seat, the buckles were undone. I doubt they were carrying her arround unbuckled, and I doubt a zombie would have undone the buckles before eating her. If they did eat her there would have been at least some pieces in there.
I'm all for Hershel dying. I have no attachment to any of the characters that supersedes the need for the show to move in a different direction. The only character that is off-limits is Rick. And Rick I think could be killed off in such a way that Carl (as a man) would take over as a leader. Carl could be killed at any time and it wouldn't bother me. I do think it would be cool to see him grow into a more badass Rick though. I mean, how many times has he saved Rick as it is.
I'm definitely glad to see them on the road again. The prison would/did get boring after awhile.

It was a pretty brutal episode. My heart was actually racing there for a second when the Gov went all Perseus on Hershel. The folks on Talking Dead were all pretty shook up about Scott Wilson's exit from the show both from a story line aspect and from not being on set anymore. Intense, sad, but good episode.
RIP Hershel.

One other thought I have from the episode. Hershel was decapitated... but was he zombie killed? Seems like his head is going to be a zombie now.. hope someone can take care of that...

A few observations:
--If Tyrese had found out what Carol had done, he would have killed her. It's ironic that it was Carol's teachings that ultimately saved Tyrese's life.
--Judith is not dead. No way.
--A nice little TV/Movie trick is to not actually show someone dying or living over a certain act and then making you believe one way or the other (e.g., The Sixth Sense). I don't think the Governor is dead. They didn't actually show the woman shooting him in the head. Now I do question whether or not he could survive the stab wound ... I wouldn't think so ... but I think they certainly left this open ended.
A couple of questions for everyone ... why do you think Michon didn't "kill" the Governor? Why do you think she left him like that? So the walkers would get him? So he would be a walker?
Same question of Derral and the douche that was with the Governor. He shot him in the heart, not the head.
Anyway, what a great episode. Maybe the best of the entire series.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Yeah I agree, and it's funny that I ended up liking him so much. I loathed him in season 2, but he became valuable to the group over time and is a huge loss now.

I know the LOL was on the end of that because you know you would watch again. But I know what you mean, I would probably feel the same way if it happened. And it's most likely inevitable with the way this show kills off good characters.

Is Judith Grimes really dead? I doubt it since we didn't see a body, but maybe they don't want to show a mutilated baby corpse on national TV. The long two month wait begins....
I would think she is but a few things make me wonder... when the kids came out she was buckled in the car seat... in the empty car seat all the buckles were undone... either walkers learned to unbuckle car seats, this was a major oversight by the crew, or someone went and got her out.
We don't see Michome leaving the prison so maybe she went and got her... or the kids who are running the wrong way with Tyresee.... they should at least know where the other kids were so maybe they went back for her.
It makes most sense that she would be dead as I think it's going to lead to a lot of growth with Rick adn Carl, but I would not be surprised if she survived.

Im thinking that Carol will be there to pick up a wounded Rick and Carl trying to make it back to wherever the meeting place is. Then there will be a whole episode dedicated basically to the Tyrese/Carol argument which Rick will smooth out but there will be constant tension.

I think it all leads back to Hershal. He had been on her about letting go of her revenge quest, and after seeing Hershal beheaded by a man enveloped by his hatred and rage, she had an awakening.
I also think this is a turning point for Rick, as we saw that smile from Hershal as he realized Rick has become a changed man. I think Rick will be the new moral compass as someone asked in another post.

I think in the zombie world, Michon not killing the Gov was the ultimate "FY". She left him, in her mind, to the Walkers to rip apart. It was interesting. Rick got his shots on the governor, and I always felt that Michon was deserving of taking him out. But in the end, she got her revenge on him and the one who shot him WAS the right person to take him out. She lost her family, especially her little girl, because of him.
I agree with the above take regarding "Little @#$ Kicker". Great catch on that, btw. The buckles were undone and I don't think Walkers are that good and that the shows creators are that bad for that detail.
I would like to thank the Gov for finally getting the show away from the Prison. I was tired of that place.

I think she left them for the walkers because that's what the gov did with Andrea leaving her to be killed by walker Milton...

FINALLY watched it last night. We have shows piling up on the DVR and after a total idiot spoiled the Boardwalk Empire finale for me on Facebook, I told my wife were getting caught up pronto.
I loved how they were able to cover so much ground playing catch up w/ the Governor. It was really only 3 episodes aside from the ending where you first see him outside the prison. Don't know about you guys, but I was actually fooled into thinking he was a changed man for good.
Sucks that the prison crew have a stockpile of assault weapons and not ONE high powered rifle with scope. As soon as Herschel went down, BLAMMO!
Hated to see Rick get overtaken by the Gov. But he was shot, so I can't completely call him out. My wife and I felt sure that it would be Carl that took the Governor out.
There's no way that baby is dead.

If that baby is dead, I need to see a zombie baby.
I can't believe the governor got it, I thought he'd be a staple for at least another season.
For some reason I went into that episode thinking Glenn or Darryl were going to get killed off.

If you want to see a zombie baby, watch Dead Alive (called BrainDead as well). It's a ridiculous movie, but it's awesome. Peter Jackson's early work.

I think it would be interesting if the zombies evolved a little. Maybe learn to use a ladder, instead of just standing by that fence growling and gnashing their teeth. Come on man, get over that fence, there's good eatin' in that compound ...
Or what if the zombies learned to cooperate and share? You know, once you've eaten most of someone, leave a little for the next guy. Zombies are so selfish.
I'm sure early vampires weren't so refined and polite as Dracula was. They probably just ran around at night, breaking into houses and drinking people's blood. But they evolved to the point that Dracula would not come into your house and drink your blood without being invited. I don't care who you are, that's thoughtful and polite as hell. If vampires can evolve, why not zombies? After all, they're both undead.

First thing I thought of. Hilarious and disturbing at the same time. I actually got nauseous in a scene or two. Because of this movie, when Jackson landed Lord of the Rings I was flabbergasted.
There's also a zombie baby in Zac Snyder's remake of Dawn of the Dead.

Judith is definitely still alive.
Why does everyone love Daryl so much? I think he's an okay character, but I don't love him like everyone else.
Every episode, I'm hoping Carl bites the dust. Of course, he never will.

I felt that way about Mrs. Grimes. Her character was horribly annoying.
I love that they set this thing up so that it can start in any direction they want. All we know is that they left the prison.

I used to feel that way about Carl, but he's stepped it up this season. Not as annoying, good soldier. Rick is becoming annoying as all get out.
And how did he let the Governor punk him like that?

I like him, but it bugs me when people act like he's the biggest badass in the world.
The crossbow is impractical and the stupid chopper is REALLY impractical. I'm sure those are some of the things people think add to his coolness.
Also, the actor's Irish, I believe. I've lived in Georgia, Alabama, West Virginia, & southeast Ohio. That accent of his NEVER seems convincing to me. And I know there are tons of Europeans that can pull off good American accents. Hell, Rick, The Governor, & Maggy are 3 just on this show alone . . .

Yeah, nothing says, "here I come" like a chopper with pipes. As for his character on the show, he is one of my favorites, he tells it like it is, and you know where he stands. Rick I see as a whiny little 'feline', Carl I just find annoying.. Most of the others I could take or leave. But they kill off Daryl and I might lose interest in the show.

Watched last week's and yesterday's episodes last night...
Kinda boring. I understand what they're doing, but those episodes were a little tough to get through.
Looks like we have a whole new set of characters to take in though.

Spoilers in Black Below
I didn't mind last weeks episode. I thought the filming was done very well. Rick passes out, Carl having some issues with his father thinks he is "man" enough to be on his own. Then you see him barely escape a zombie attack. His "I win" moment still showed he was still wrapped up in him being "man" enough. Then he tries to break down the door and falls on his butt. The whole episode with him was a good contrast up to the point he is sitting on the roof eating pudding like a little boy would. In the end he realized he still needs his daddy.
IDK, I liked it.
This week it was a good wrap up of the rest of the characters and the direction they were heading. I called that Tyrese would meet up with Carol. He was with the kids she was supposed to take care of and the back story of her killing his girlfriend I knew it was the logical direction.
I was surprised that Judith was still alive. Well not surprised surprised just thought that since in the Comic she died that if they were to kill her off that was the way they would do it. I simple implication of what happened, they won't show a baby getting eaten on the show.
This should be a good finish, 6 episodes left, I hope next season is up to 20 episodes, 10/10...we need more Walking Dead.

He didn't as far as I saw, he somehow got off the bus and onto that ledge, I'm assuming he passed out and woke up hours later. Even at that he had to lay down in the cell when he was collecting items. After breaking out and fighting with the Walkers he passed out and Tara had to kill the last Zombie when the new crew showed up in the truck.

Did anyone else notice that Lizzy (the psychotic little girl) is also playing Hart's daughter in True Detective?
So much I want to say about Lizzy's character, but will be potential spoilers so I will keep lip buttoned.

We just started watching True Detective yesterday.... Really good. 2 episodes in so far (I think only 4 have aired to this point)
Definitely glad it came out, because my girlfriend and I were running out of stuff to watch together. We started watching It's Always Sunny back in the spring, and we are pretty much caught all the way up.
She tried to get me into the BBC Sherlock show and it just wasn't that great for me...

This past Sunday was episode 5, but yeah I wasn't that excited about the show. I thought it would be corny but it turns out I was wayyyyy wrong. It's top notch, the best show on TV right now.
But back to the Walking Dead (don't want to hi-jack), ugh I just can't say anything about it right now since I have a good idea of what is going to happen. If you read the graphic novel you know who the 3 new characters are and where this is going. I'll be back to this thread in a few episodes.
