That would be outside the box when it comes to the "anything I can do" part. Good to see you again Arch!
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

What do you mean? You said "anything". Don't make me quote it. I miss the good old days when I could count on an argument from you every night.

Weeden always has that tongue out when he is throwing. I wonder if he makes it through the season without biting it off. Seriously, that is a horrible habbit for a football player.
not wearing a mouthpiece is one of the easiest ways to induce a concussion. one hard hit to the ground is all it would take. they wear those things for a reason.
I think it's funny he's wearing a state-of-the-art helmet to prevent concussions and no mouthguard (unless he wears one once pads go on).
it's like ordering a diet coke to go along with your triple whopper with cheese.

I think that Massaquoi is going to have a breakout type year this year ..... between 800-900 yards and 6 or 7 TDs. Maybe not an All Pro year, but much better than we have seen out of him in the past.

I think that Tuesday and Wednesday must be closed to the media.

I have to agree with Peen on Mo. Even the Colts receivers looked very average last year. Its a wonder what good qb play can do for a offense.

I was thinking the same thing when I saw no updates. I thought OTA's where 22nd-24th. The only info I found anywhere was a couple things on twitter about Richardson and the receivers looking better. There seems to be nothing written up from the 23rd and 24th.

It could be that the OTA includes a day of on field, and 2 days of off field work. That's about all I can think of.

Oh ya know, that might really be it.
I think I'm gonna call the Browns facility and see if I can find out...

OK,, called the Browns facility.,.
OTA's were 22nd, 23rd and 24th. We did see media reports from tuesday and wed but I didn't see any from thursday so maybe Ytown is right.. either closed to the media or the work was classroom instead of onfield stuff..
The lady at the front desk didn't have that information available.
There you have it.

I would guess that it was lifting and classroom stuff, because any time the team is on the field, the media (and fans) wants updates.

I think there will be alot of guys that run out of excuses this year. Personally I agree that Massaquoai deserve a little more time but if he, Mitchell, Norwood, Moore etc don't show it this year then the questions should be answered.
Would not shock me at all if Momass, Norwood, Moore and Mitchell were ALL not on the roster next year.

I like how we gave Moore a 3 year extension..
THEN EVER EVER USED HIM FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON EVER AGAIN.

I agree. That was a head scratcher.
The guy has the best hands on the team and caught everything thrown his way.
I think his problem was he couldn't gain enough separation to ease Colt's mind. I think that will change now that we have a QB who can put the ball where it needs to be. I think Moore will become one of Weedens favorite go to guys.

As much as people hate to hear it Peen, I think you're right. Everyone goes on and on about us not having WR's. Well, let's just see about that.....

Didn't Moore speak out about playing time? If I remember correctly he did, and I think that landed him in Shurmur's dog house. Also, Moore did NOT catch everything thrown his way. I remember early in the season he missed on a couple of TD's that were poor adjustments on his part.

Poor adjustments!? Well that's impossible. You meant poor passes. Right? They had to have been poorly thrown passes by Colt. It's the only explanation. Thankfully those days are past us. From now on our receivers will catch everything because Weeden is going to throw them the ball. Even if a receiver runs the wrong route Weeden's passes bend in the air to follow the errant receiver. Hand to God I've seen it!!

Would not shock me either.
There seems to be this resounding sentiment from the anti-Colt camp that our WRs are going to all of a sudden be awesome with Weeden. While I agree that better QB play will lead to better WR play I wouldn't expect the aforementioned guys - with maybe the exception of Norwood (but now with Benjamin I'm not so sure) - to really "break out". They haven't really shown anything. The flip side is Little who flashed with the same QB play as the others even while dropping every other pass thrown to him .... It was obvious this guy has some talent.

Isn't this Mo's last year on his contract? He would have to have a pretty strong season for the Browns to resign him. At this point, its hard to say, but i'm sure they will target a WR early in next years draft to pair with Little and Benjamin.

Pretty sure he signed a four year deal.
I don't think Massaquoi is anything special, but I think he's better than he's given credit for.
Not to mention how badly his QB's have gotten him killed.
But, yeah, I don't know that we make a huge effort to re-sign him unless he has a great year.

Now if that doesn't make everyone on this board laugh, I don't know what will. It is the same thing every year. They have only taken, Braylon at Wr with their earliest pick, every chance since 99. No big deal, quantity has a quality of its own.
hmm. Who is looking good in camp?
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

They'll pick up a WR early.. I'm about 90% sure of it. The FO has addressed every other position on offense, so its almost the last position left to address..
I'm just hoping we dont spend another draft pick on a FB.. that'll be 3 years in a row..

THEY haven't been here since 99...
THEY have had only 3 "earliest picks"
So far have Haden, Taylor, and now Richardson.
You could make an argument for Julio Jones, I wasn't that big on him, he looks pretty good with Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez across from him.
I'm fine with what we have gotten instead.
But I'm not the master of Hindsight like you are.

I suspect that they'll take their highest rated player in the 1st. That's been Heckert's MO so far. Either take the guy who is highest on your board, or trade down.

I believe that until we get better and are consistently better, our picks will be need based.
When you are better you can afford to do a BPA based draft.

Except for LT and I guess center, what position could we have drafted that would not have been considered a need?
Am I perfect? No Am I trying to be a better person? Also no

I'm not sure that Turk is stating we've just drafted for need. He may just be saying we had a need at the position every time we've drafted. However, if he is suggesting that, I would counter by saying Richardson was by far and away the highest rated guy on the board. It's just a happy and fortunate coincidence that Trent matched such a strong need.
I really haven't seen a huge 1st round reach out of need in years.
***Gordon, I really didn't think you could be this stOOpid, but you exceeded my expectations. Wussy. Manziel, see Josh Gordon. Dumbass.***

It depends on the pick.
Some didn't consider a CB (Claiborne) a high enough need to spend a top 5 pick on.
Some STILL don't think RB was worth a top 5 pick.
And I would like to add, that just because something is a need (Lets say WR) that doesn't mean you have to take the highest WR and your Highest pick (Lets say Blackmon at 4) if there is a better value there.
Some get it, some don't, some troll.

what does Moore have to do with MoMass? Turk was talking about MoMass, you responded to him and I threw out a harmless joke (at least it was intended to be harmless)
