I don't watch much basketball (except when my son is home from college -- if it's sports-related, he'll watch it LOL), so I'm just putting this question out there: did Wade deserve a game off for his flagrant foul in Game 2?

as mentioned above. during the regular season, Josh Smith got 2 games for basically the same thing on Blake Griffin (actually Josh's was slightly less egregious).

now, in the playoffs, the suspensions tend to be less no matter who you are. so, a 1 game suspension seems apt.

I would bet that if the guy from Indiana does that TO Wade, he gets some time off...

Well yeah ... I'm sure Wade would fly through the air like a sniper had shot him, and then lay motionless for 5 minutes, before shaking it off and hoping right back into the game ... you know, sort of like how Blake Griffen did it. Did I mention it's going to be REALLY hard cheering for these guys in the Olympics? Oh well, go Spain.

just don't watch Olympic basketball. it's not good basketball anyway (you can block shots off the rim, really?).

spend the Olympics cheering for the athletes that you don't know the names of now (3 months before) and will likely forget by October. you know, as it should be.

Don't forget the wheelchair. Dude would be taken off on a stretcher or in a wheelchair.

I can't hide it, I really hate the guy.

There's a small list of guys in the NBA that I just can't stand and he's near the top of that list.

I was going to mention the wheelchair. Possibly with a neck brace. Maybe an IV.

I'll give Lebron that, I've seen him go down in the tunnel back to the training room to get something wrapped or fixed, but I've never seen him go down sniper style and make some fake triumphant return like Pierce did in the '08 finals or like Wade does every other day.

He does his share of complaining and crying, but all NBA guys do that. For as much as we love Duncan, he's one of the worst in the league.

Did you see Tyson Chandler's screen on Lebron? Sniper style right there. Rolling around on the court clutching his throat. Then just jumps up and shoots his free throws.

He doesn't fling himself to the ground sniper style ... but I've seen him fold like a cheap chair a few times when somebody brushed a finger on his head. He'll then play up the injury for a few minutes by rubbing his eye for 3 solid minutes to make sure we know about it, before carrying on as usual. But I'll definitely give him props for not exiting the grounds on a wheelchair at any point in his career. Anyone who does that and then comes back into the same game should have the words "WUSS" tattooed on their forehead.

what if he fakes an elbow injury and shoots a critical FT with the wrong arm/hand to play it up?

(plus, everyone knows if you hurt your shooting arm, then you go granny style on the FTs )

yeah, I would love for BW to write a tell-all book about EVERYTHING that went down those last couple of years and that offseason.

not going to happen IMO, but it would be a best-seller for sure.

Who knew Game 3 of Heat/Pacers would be the biggest game of the year...?

Wow. The fix is in in OKC.

The NBA is such trash.

Refs are doing whatever they can to give this game to LA.

How can people consistently watch something that is so rigged?

In real time, from the first angle, I thought it was a good no call.

I would be wrong, but I can see what they saw.

Everything looks worse in Slow-Mo.

It's why I think in the NFL, Instant replay should be allowed, but they should only be able to look at plays again in full speed.

However.

How does Pau Gasol running into James Harden's back turn into a Double Foul..?

Yeah, that was probably the worst one.

I wonder what the calls will be like in LA

So ESPNs lead in to Heat/Pacers Game 3 was a top 10 list of LeBron's best moments..

Wow.

Every game Indy has gotten out to a small lead to start. And Miami has come back.

I have a fear Granger may sacrifice his team today trying to be "the guy"

The opening 3 was awesome, but just leads to more jumpshots.

Hibbert has been incredibly awful this series on defense. I can't comprehend or imagine him being any worse.

After Miami is on offense, should we just blow a whistle and give them the ball back?

Would save time.

If you're wearing Red.

Just run into someone wearing white.

Get a foul called on them.

Wade said he made the choice to let LeBron take control of the team..

..Maybe he's trying to prove a point Kobe style?

Got a feeling Wade might do something stupid tonight. Can't buy a shot. Yelling at Spoelstra on the bench. Dude's gonna boil over if Pacers push out to a decent lead.

I can see Granger getting in a fight.

I don't see LeBron being the other guy.

I see somebody from Miami's bench being "that guy" to push Granger over the edge.

Even if Granger's beef is with LBJ.

Granger's had beef with LeBron for years. He's doing exactly what he needs to do, too...get in LeBron's head and throw him off his game.

This is Miami's effort to make sure NO ONE can blame LeBron for them losing..

Bosh hurt.

Wade playing like crap.
