There was a lot of talk about Rutgers back when Nebraska joined the Big 10. Makes sense as far as expanding the network into new states. Maryland and New Jersey would be 2 pretty damn good states to expand their influence into.

Maryland and Rutgers in talks with Big Ten
Nothing says "We need to beef up our football conference" like Rutgers and Maryland.
Next year they will add Alabama, LSU, Oregon, Georgia, Oklahoma, and Kent State.

Loved that fumble
2nd fumble ever in his career. No record. No victory. Cheesehead fans denied the moment on their home turf. On Senior Day.
Priceless.

Crazy game - our offense looked HORRIBLE the entire second half and then we realized that Hyde was still on the team in OT. Good win!
LSU should have lost today! Ol Miss had them and just blew it at the end.
La Tech is in OT... maybe this will stop all the BCS talk for them...
ND took care of business. Can't wait to see KSU and Oregon.

Wisconsin may be playing in the Big Ten Championship game but we're still undefeated and beat them at their place

Money matters. I like it.
And Maryland should be a good program.
Funny that it's two more red schools

Look like K State is chocking their title hopes away. Not surprised at all. The pressure has to be enormous on them to finish. Notre Dame in a great position.

I think Notre Dame could beat them. Stanford is a tough physical team like the irish. That's how you beat Oregon. Be physical with them, and punish their smallish backs.

Think about this
In 2010 Baylor had RG3 with Kendal Wright, Terrance Williams and Josh Gordon

At least Meyer has installed a winning atmosphere. Once he gets all his players, he will dominate the big 10. He is so much better than the other big 10 coaches.

Tavon Austin tonight: 292 yards on 19 carries, 82 yards on 4 catches, 113 on 6 kick returns.

LOL That would be great.
Wow, that was an awful penalty. That looked like damn good coverage to me. That was major ticky tacky.

gotta figure Oregon has to score TDs with their kicking game... don't see them wanting to let their kicker win a game for them.

Stanford lining up for the winning FG try. Stanford knocks off Oregon. So much for their run at #1. Wow .... what a weird year for college football so far. The only bad part is that I hate to see Notre Dame in the National Championship picture.

I can't stand ND... but they have had some very impressive wins this year... if they get past USC then they are more than deserving to go...
some craziness coming up next week... will be interesting to see where everyone falls in the polls....

You can't count out Georgia. But yea, Bama getting a 2nd life, I think they will prevail. Once again Sec championship a national semifinal.
