USC may be without Barkley. If they are, Notre Dame should win easily.
How about USC, by the way? They bring back Barkley to go for a Championship, and they are a (so far) 4 loss team.

People were touting him as a potential first overall pick a while ago. lol
I called him "Barely" for a reason. He barely gets the job done against good teams, even with what could be the best pair of receivers in college football.

Never been impressed with Barkley with the exception of his freshmen year. I thought his potential was incredible considering what he showed.
Think about how much $$$$$$ the NCAA would have made with a Notre Dame vs OSU national title game

Barkley was super impressive last year (3528 yards, 39 TD's, and 7 INT's in a pro style offense). But he regressed majorly this year when he should have been just as good or better.
If he would have come out last year he might be our QB right now instead of Weeden. Now I don't think he is a 1st round pick (even in a terrible QB class).

Notre Dame doesn't win games pretty, but you can't argue the fact that they've gone through a pretty good schedule unbeaten, and at the end of the day, that's all that matters.

The Fighting Irish are No. 1 for the first time since Nov. 14, 1993. The Fighting Irish were a unanimous No. 1, getting all 60 first-place votes.
They are a victory against rival Southern California away from completing a perfect regular season and playing in the BCS championship game Jan. 7 in Miami.
A week after being upset as the No. 1 team, Alabama is back to No. 2, taking advantage of the two big upsets.
