At what point does Ariens' health become an issue, considering his age. What he had was high blood pressure (not a good sign going into a playoff game) and an ear infection. Those can happen to people of any age, but people might see it as a negative considering his age and the stress of the job - the blood pressure more than the ear thing. I know he didn't chose to get sick or have to be in the hospital twice, but the timing couldn't be worse for him with teams wanting to interview him.
Do you have a link that says he was in for high blood pressure?

But Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer’s now on the list in Cleveland, as FOX’s Jay Glazer reports the Browns are bringing Zimmer in today for an interview.

I think Zimmer would probably make a good HC. But from what little I have read about him he apparently interviews terribly. He gets one or two interviews a year but no 2nd interviews. My guess is he just isn't political enough to know when to kiss a little ass to get the job he wants.
Makes me like him even more!

A lot of times teams give permission to their guys if they are position coaches potentially getting coordinator jobs as a way of showing appreciation.

The fact that Zimmer would bring Hue Jackson with him makes me want him more.
That'd be a coaching staff to get every ounce of talent out of the team.
you had a good run Hank.

At least our offensive coordinator press conferences would be entertaining if we got Jackson. As I said before, legit crazy person.

Yea all positions are considered secondary positions whether its Intern, assistant linebackers coach, offensive coordinator or assistant head coach. Sucks for guys that are really good position coaches, teams can and sometimes do deny other teams from raiding their shelves.
Still not sure, but if so I'd start buying the donuts a week ahead and tell the coffee person to put 6-7 ice cubes in every cup.
Nothing like cold coffee and stale donuts to start the morning.
