Part 3 of the Plain Dealer's fan submitted uniform designs. http://www.cleveland.com/browns/index.ssf/2013/01/cleveland_browns_new_uniforms_2.html#incart_2boxI kinda like the 2nd and 4th variations. It seems to me that it's easier to come up with interesting designs with a brown basis than a white one.

Some of those most recent ones were awful! Light blue trim? Burgandy? Black and orange (was that submitted by Kendall Storm?)? And I still don't get the fascination with grey pants when we haven't used our own colors on our pants regularly in decades. A few were cool though. I'm old school but optimistic that the new look will be changed enough to please the drooling masses ( )but old school enough to pay proper homage to our history. Lets just not let some of these fan 'designers' get too close. Light blue? Really??

None of those in that link thrill me but I do like the one elf about half way down with the sword and shield.

Its the legend of zelda character with Cleveland stamped on the sword. I'll pass on that one. If we were gonna have a new and improved Elf I like this one. Maybe not quite as Evil though lol

If you change the black to a dark brown, I really really like the 5th one by Justin Vargo. Just the left side though.

Its a Nintendo video game franchise. The legend of zelda, I think the elf's name is Link or something.

I actually loved the Bulldog on the sleeves. Dont like the uniform but the bulldog on the sleeve with the orange pants and Brown shirt would be baddddd.

I liked Joe Nemeth's dark uni a lot. I kind of liked the white as well, but not as much. Very few of these I've found to be worth it to switch, but these might do it for me.

I like the B with the C in it. Cool idea. I would modify it a little bit to make the C more evident (so you know it is a C without having to be told and saying oh yea) but would be okay this as is.

I like the ones right above the ones with the blue outline.
Replace that "B" logo with the elf and I think those would be my favorites I've seen so far.

I think that it's a lot better than their old one.
Maybe it's not perfect, but it is better. It definitely has a fierceness that their old one lacked.

Honestly, I was hoping they would drop the 90s style teal & black. Maybe a greener tint to the teal and more gold. I think that could look sharp overall.
I guess they could still go there with the uni's but it doesn't look like that is their direction from the logo.

Whenever I do Madden I do orange top with brown pants, and Brown socks w/orange stripes. Best look IMO.

Not a big fan of the horizontal stripes through the numbers. I also think that on tv, that would make it harder to recognize the numbers.

I agree with that.
On that link, I might throw up if we went with the "little orange riding hood" socks and shoulder/arm embellishments. Bleh.

ok, the new one is better, but they are very similar and it's got to be a bit disappointing that they didn't do something better.
I always thought their helmets should be all jaguar print (spots). Kind of similar to how the Bengals have the tiger stripes...

That makes me think the league would never allow it.

It worked fine for Northwestern: http://news.sportslogos.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/feature.jpg
The real reason it couldn't happen is because Under Armour would sue as that is their design.

Yeah, but you know how the NFL is, I mean they fine guys for wearing their socks wrong.
I wish they'd let teams kinda go wild like college does.

yeah, they somehow let the Seahawk atrocities through though: http://cdn.bleacherreport.net/images_roo....jpg?1318453517but maybe they were just trying to let fans follow the action in the driving rain up there

Maybe it's the fact that the numbers on the drawing are gray that makes it look like it would be harder to see. But what color would the numbers be on the dark jersey and on the white jersey?

I think they'd be Orange on the Brown jersey and Brown on the White jersey and White on the alternate Orange jersey

I like the one they chose as best because that is the concept I argued for in this thread. However, these are the ones I like the most, where there is more contrast in the numbers than the grey. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8228/8434776527_44196016da_o.jpg

This is something I found....no idea who made it HERE. The Browns are about 1/4 way down.

I gotta say, those uniforms look good. Most of them for the teams on there really do. A couple looked real good, IMO.

Not bad but how come the numbers on our jerseys look so much smaller than normal. I didn't notice that about any of the other uniforms. Or is it just me?

Those all look nice. Though the Jets' green on light green is a little off in my mind.

Really like the Texans's helmet there. I wish more teams would adopt the Bengal/Eagle approach to helmets instead of just slapping a logo on the side.

Yeah, except the Ravens one is TOO similar to the Eagles one..
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?
